Well-made, Useful Bagq
The Ridgeline is a very well-made, sturdy item. The design is stupidly simple and really useful. The bag opens wide to swallow lots of gear. It is a tad wider than I initially wanted, but it sits well on the seat of my beast (ETV 1000 Caponord) and does the job. The straps that run over the bag allow tightening it down when empty or only partly filled, and help keep it stable. I used the D rings on the bottom to attach it semi-permanently, with two of the built-in bungees to assist. So far it has performed well on grocery runs, where the wide opening allowed inserting large bags of items; and a ride in the country where it held my tools and other items, allowing me to leave the panniers at home.

I haven't tried it yet on my smaller XT 225, but it should easily mount there too.

My wife and I have had very good experiences with other Wolfman items on our bikes, and their customer service was top-notch when I recently needed a repair.

Made in the USA, good construction of good materials, with good backing/service if needed.

worth every penny.
Works perfectly on the back seat of my bike, and is the perfect size for a carry on at the airports. Buy the shoulder strap, it's a must. It does not come with one.

Great, Functional Bag
I ordered this bag to go on the back of my KLR in conjunction with an aftermarket tail plate. The built in bungee cords make securing the bag to the bike a breeze. there are also several additional D rings attached to the bag in case you want to strap an additional bag or jacket to it. Construction is heavy duty and I anticipate several years of use not only on my commute to work but trail riding up in the hills. The dimensions posted about the bag are accurate, so keep that in mind if you are planning to use this bag with the stock tail rack as you will need to figure out a way to support it.

Best Bag Ever!
I just took this on a 700 mile 3 day trip. I am no light packer. I fit a ton of stuff including a hefty laptop, sneakers, clothes, electronics, extra bike gear, toiletries...and I didn't even have to expand it! I love this bag!! I even had a couple compliment it and I told them I got it on Revzilla. Shipping was speedy as always. Install was a breeze on my stock 2014 Triumph Tiger 800. Get this bag!!

The right bag
The Ridgeline Plus is a great tail bag. It fit perfect on the passenger seat and the included hooks lined up just right with the attachments on my saddle bags. The ballistic nylon used looks like the bag will last for many years.

Versatile, durable bike duffel
I've taken just one trip with this bag, but very happy with it. I built a simple wooden platform to support it on the tail behind the passenger seat, works great (might get around to making a better-looking aluminum platform). Without the support it could sag down a bit and block the directional lights, at least on a BMW F650GS. Easy to put on and take off. The built-in bungee cords work great, easily adjustable and quickly tucked out of the way under the bottom when off the bike. Secures to the bike from the bottom so there's easy access to the top & pockets while on the bike. Perfect as an airplane carry-on bag, so doubles as that, useful if renting a bike at your destination (I'm thinking Italy...). Appears to be quite weather resistant, though I bought the waterproof cover for heavy rain and already got good use out of it (easily cinched on). For yet more space I could strap my canoe wet bag onto the top of the Wolfman duffel.

Durable construction. I expect many years of good use from this bag, for current and future bikes.

Great bag - super high quality
A great bag - super high quality appearance and construction. The zippers and fitted zipper covers are big, heavy-duty, and sturdy. It has a full-width mesh area on the inside of the lid and two exterior end pockets for the little stuff, and the bungee cords and hooks are adjustable for length. I went on my first thousand-mile trip last week and was well pleased with it. The bag didn't move at all once I secured it and is heavy enough so it doesn't flap in the breeze. Didn't get to try it in the rain yet...

Overall Great Product
Everything is great about this bag. The only problem it has is that is not 100% impermeable, if you hit a good rain chances are things on your bag will get wet so make sure you wrap them on a big trashbag to help keep it dry.

Installation can be a bit tricky depending on the amount of weight you are carrying. Other than that great bag, great price, great space.

nice bag but overpriced
bag is good size with nice construction. Side zipper pouches are to small to be of use. Bag is waterproof only for light rain heavy downpour will get your stuff wet. Bag is overpriced like Harley stuff.

Between the Wolfman tail bag and Ridgeline witch would best fit on the 2015 gunner without having a luggage rack or rear seat?
Jonathan C on Apr 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Jonathan,
I bought the Wolfman tail bag to fit on the rear seat of my '91 K100RS and it worked great for that. On my '09 R1200RT it works on the rear seat but not as well on the rear rack as it hangs over the top of the tail light if it is not stuffed full. It is a good durable, convenent, well made bag. I am not sure how well it would fit on your bike without a luggage rack or rear seat. I see Wolfman has the tail bag out of stock so they may be changing or discontinuing it. The Ridgeline is now available in colors which is a plus if you want something other than black. Hope I was able to help.
Sincerely,
Sergio
