Saddlemen BR3400EX Combination Sissy Bar Bag
Kept the water out and compliments my bike
Well this past weekend was my first ride with my new bag. I rode through a heavy down pour leaving a desert town and this bag proved to keep my goodies dry. One in particular my lap top. The rain cover is easy to install and is attached to the bag so you don't loose it. I do agree with other post about lack of support on the base of the bag and for this reason its only get 4 stars. Besides that this bag looks good on my dark horse, and mounting to my sissy bar was a piece of cake. Seems to be put together really well. I really like the lock feature on the main part of the bag. The zippers come together and present a hole for a luggage lock to be used. I travel a lot so i use the small TSA lock. by all means this is not 100% theft proof. your eye is the best weapon for that. this bag has enough room for an extra half helmet. I brought a bell pit boss. A lap top. pair of sneakers, pair of saddles and 4 days worth of clothes. So space wise this bag is ideal. Just the right size.

Great luggage option
This bag definitely ticks a lot of boxes, however, it would be a 5/5 if the lower half had a sturdy interior - either hard plastic or aluminium. That way it could be tied down a bit tighter without making the base buckle and squash.

Best Sissy Bar Bag!
I absolutely love this bag. It is extremely convenient and surprisingly spacious. I can fit my full face helmet in it with my jacket. The finish is very high quality, and the zippers have held up very well over the last year and a half of daily use. However, it isn't without its minor flaws. It definitely easily fits any cruiser on the market as far as style goes as well.
The bottom of the bag really needs to be more rigid. When tightened down on the bike, it folds inward, reducing usable storage space, and temporarily deforming it. Another notable issue I had was one of the side support straps snapping while on the freeway from a rogue side gust of wind.

Fitment problems for 2014 Indian Chieftain
Great bag with a few fitment problems. As expected, mounting strap does not fit around the large (14") passenger backrest. I had to remove the backrest pad and turn bag around on passenger pillion. This was necessary because the D-rings on mounting harness under passenger seat didn't match up to the bag. Also, the D-rings on bag are positioned horizontal, rather than vertical, as shown in all illustrations (even mounting instructions). With all of that being said, I kept the bag due to its quality construction and versatility. I just had to use my imagination when mounting.

The product works great for going to work. Could not use the underseat mount on a 2006 Honda Shadow VLX without modifying the part.
