Kriega UScombo50 Drypack System
I used this on a 1800 mile trip to Sturgis on my Ducati Monster. I got caught in several downpours and these performed flawlessly. Never a drop of moisture in my clothing and stayed secure through all the winding roads. Luckily my Ducati had pre installed straps for the bag, made install a breeze.

Excellent bags that will go the distance
I just used this bag set, plus an additional 30L bag mounted to my FZ-07 on a 2 week, 2800 mile trip from Austin TX to Salt Lake City UT and back. In the 30L bag I carried a 2P Marmot Tungsten Tent, A Big Agnes QCore inflatable pad and a Marmot Meteor down sleeping bag. The tent poles fit just barely and I had to use an included strap extension to get the buckle to reach. In the 20L bag I carried a pair of hiking boots and a fuel bottle. In one of the 10L bags I carried my Primus camp stove (similar to jet boil), camp meals and my rain gear. In the other 10L bag I carried a pair of town shoes and clean clothes for 3 days. The 10L bags were stuffed completely full. The 20L was relatively empty, and the 30L was a bit less than completely full.
The build quality on these bags is fantastic, the material is very high quality and the stitching is solid. There were a few times when I was concerned the strap tension was putting strain on the stitching but on close inspection no strain was evident on the threads.
If I had any complaint its that it takes a long time to attach the bags to the bike when doing the full 4 bag setup. While the strap system is simple and straightforward to use, the sheer number of straps (4 for each bag for a total of 16) that must be properly attached, tensioned and threaded through the keepers meant the morning install took a bit longer than I'd like.
There is one suggestion that I would make to Kriega, and that is to use a different color of strap loop on the bottoms of the bags (the loops meant to be used to attach the bags together). There were a few instances where I accidentally anchored the strap to the bag itself, rather than to the loop attached to the bike. If you have to take off one or more bags to fix the problem then re-mount the outer bags the time to install goes up significantly. This could be really easily prevented just by using a different color of webbing loop on those mounting points.
The rest of this review is specific to the FZ-07.
Because of the design of the passenger seat and the subframe, its basically impossible to use the anchor webbing straps included with the bags. Yamaha had a bit of foresight here and included a set of anchor loops into the seat itself. I found these anchor loops to be sufficient for using the 20L or 30L bag solo, or the 20L with the 2x 10L bags. However, using the 30L with the 20L stacked on top and the 2x10L bags on the side was too much for the seat straps alone. No matter how much tension I put on the straps the load was a bit wobbly. To solve this I ran a Kriega Cam Strap under the seat and around the subframe, then over the 30L base bag, and cranked it down. With the single cam strap and the 4 anchor straps providing a secure mount for the base, the rest of the load could be carried without any wiggle or give.
I mentioned above that the 30L bag with my larger camping supplies was not quite full. This is mainly because if I had filled it all the way to capacity it would have been encroaching on my available seat room, owing to the position on which the bags mounted to the bike.

Ride long. Ride far.
The 20, 10 combo is perfect for my frequent 4 day trips. The 20 liter bag is the perfect size for 4 days worth of clothes (jeans and t-shirts) + sundries, and the 10 liter bag was perfect for my shoes, rain-suit and an extra pair of gloves. The bags performed flawlessly and kept everything bone-dry during a 6 hour ride in heavy rain (the contents of the bags were the only thing on me or the bike that stayed dry). Very easy to put on and remove from the bike, once you get the "frame" straps attached, and the included shoulder strap is great for carrying your bags from the bike to the hotel room, etc. Just keep in mind, the bags are not designed for quick access, they're designed to be as waterproof as possible. The modularity of the system is a big plus. I'll be buying a couple more bags in the future, to use in addition to these, for longer trips.

Just f'n amazing!!
When you first open the box, you immediately know your money is well spent. The quality is unmatched. I ride a 2010 Ducati Streetfighter S 1098. The tail on my bike is quite skinny in the back, but the straps that are included mounted up just right. The front 2 mount to the rear subframe and the rear two mounted right to the bolts for the battery manager. Super clean install. Again, the quality is awesome and is definitely designed with a sport tourer in mind. Don't hesitate to get this set-up for any sport bike. I'm telling ya, you'll be impressed like I was. Impressed enough to break down and write your first review on any product... ever. (This is my 1st review if you didn't figure that out.)

Worked the way I had hoped.
I've used this for a week long trip that included a couple of heavy downpours. The Kriega bags kept everything dry. The system is very simple to mount and the bags hold a surprising amount of stuff. Construction seems excellent and once you understand how to connect the various pieces and mount to the bike it's very easy. I like that there are only very small fabric loops left on the bike when the bags are off. They're not cheap but worth the cost.

Great Quality Luggage
I purchased the Kriega U.S. Combo 40 for an upcoming 2000 mile ride so I have not actually toured with the bags. However, I have attached the bags to the back of my 2014 Aprilia Tuono and have used them for commutes and for short day rides in order to get familiar with and more efficient with mounting, dismounting and working with the bags. Thus far, I can say the bags are top quality, durable and with a 10 year guarantee, should not need replacing for a long time.

So far so good! I purchased this as a work bag/weekender and so far I'm impressed. The 20L Fits all my work gear and a 15in laptop, iPad, wires, papers and even my small cooler for lunch. Holds great, really solid even with what I weighed in at 17lbs.
Looking forward for a reason to pack and get away for a weekend

Great modular design allowing flexibility, excellent construction. Perfect choice for sport touring if you don't want to go the saddle bag route. Bud
