Thor Impact Rig Armored Shirt
runs a bit large
I'm a smaller frame male. 135 lbs, 5'8". I ordered a small but the armor and straps run a bit large. the Velcro everywhere is at the very tip of the connection.
Looks badass though. No falls yet. I wish there were second straps on the arms.

Had one of these for a couple years now, used mostly for woods riding and sometimes on the street when I wear a warmer, un-armored jacket over it in temps that are too cool for my regular street jacket. No get-offs on the road, but plenty of minor crashes and tip-overs on the trail and it's held up well. The mesh fabric that holds it together feels kind of flimsy, but I haven't had any issues with it ripping or fraying so long as you use a little care with donning/doffing.
I'm 5-7, about 155, 31" waist, and the s/m fits well- it's actually adjusted about as small as it goes, and would fit someone substantially larger as well. It does take a little while to get all the adjustment straps set at first, but then it's easy to slip on and go.
The sleeves are a bit too long for me, but not a huge issue. The extra wide kidney belt is nice and gives great support- also keeps the back protector from riding up.
In the summer it can get a little warm if you're hauling a stuck bike out of the mud, but otherwise it's not bad. Usually just throw a light vented jersey over it (get a jersey at least 1 size larger than you'd normally wear to fit over this), but if it's really hot I'll wear this on it's own.
The elbow pads aren't great. There's one non elastic strap to hold them in place, and unless you make it really tight (and get arm pump), they tend to droop down toward your wrists and slide around. A couple minor get-offs had the elbow pads roll around out of the way. The sleeves aren't detachable, so you're kind of stuck with them. It also lacks any rib protection, which some competitor products offer.
It's a lot of protection for a reasonable price- there are suits that offer more complete protection, but cost substantially more and are more bulky to wear.

Great Protection for Price
+ Good quality material and armor plates
+ Adjustment straps for each armor
+ Padding to supplement armor
+ Bigger pieces removable
- Sized WAY too big if you are built and use the sizing chart. I am 5' 9", 190 lbs (powerlifter) and ordered the size for 160-180 lbs and there is too much material for me. If you are on the heavier side but have lower body fat %, consider a size smaller.
-Shirt part could use more structure
-Longer back plate with bump to transition with neck protector or helmet would be nice.

Saved me on a highway crash
I bought this armor shirt for summer riding because leathers in 100 degree weather was not working for me. I ultimately chose it because it had a single chest piece and I liked the overall look of it.
I high sided on the highway when my rear brake locked and I spilled off. I was going probably 50 MPH when I started braking and was probably going 20 MPH when I fell off. First impact was on the left side of my head, left forearm, and then I rolled quickly.
As for my armor post accident, my left glove was shredded, the arm & both shoulders were were scraped up pretty bad, and I had a few scrapes on the back of the armor. My body had a few bruises and scrapes underneath but nothing bad. The only sustained injury I got was from a bump I took on my left knee. (I was going to buy norsorex pants but hadn't. You can guess what my first purchase was when I went to buy armor again.)
Had I not worn the armor shirt my left arm would have been decimated. That $150 saved me from a lot of bad scarring. I thought about getting the Leatt 3DF but since it has no abrasion protection, I opted to purchase this armor shirt again.

Better than the cheaper Fox rig
This rig is very comfortable to wear and has good protection for low speed and off-road riding.
The mesh is soft and flows a lot of air. The chest piece is not separated on your sternum by a zipper like some other rigs, it's a single piece.
I had a crash on dirt where I landed hard on my elbow, shoulder, and knee. I was wearing this rig, but no armor on my knees. I experienced no pain on my arm or upper body afterwards, but my knee was severely bruised and had a good deal of pain. Two weeks later my knee is still tender to the touch and my upper body is still fine.
I was also very impressed that the crash did not crack the rig or damage the mesh.
I think this offers good protection without adding too much bulk. The rig fits snugly under my jacket and doesn't restrict my movements in any noticeable way.

Great... but you get what you pay for
I am 155lbs and the S/M fits perfect.
The zipper problem everyone keeps talking about hasn't happened with me, but you can use safety pins to fix that either way.
The only issue I have with it is the stitching isn't that good. Im already starting to get a tear in the shoulder area. So its clear that the quality could use some work.
Protection- Best Ive seen so far for this type of armor. I feel great wearing it, like I can actually take a hit and get up with no problem. Havent tried it yet, but its good to know I can if needed.
