Icon Women's Stryker Vest

The Womens Field Armor Stryker vest features all of the same construction and CE certification standards as the mens version but has been retailored for a womans fit. The back armor plate has been made slightly shorter by changing to a five or six plate arrangement. Additionally, the miriff and VELCRO® brand closures adjustment straps have been rescaled for a proper fit. Of course the main function of the vests back protector, enhanced protection, remains intact as the womens version meets applicable CE certification standards for back protectors.

Nice vest, not for small ladies This vest is made from high quality materials and offers decent protection and air flow. I'm a size 6, and have a 35" bust and 28" waist. I got a size s/m, and at the smallest setting it's still not that snug. I would recommend only for ladies my size and bigger. September 5, 2015
Great addition to a jacket, or to wear with a hoodie or shirt I've never worn any sort of external protection vest, only ever upgrade my armour that I use in my vest. I did a bit of research on vest, specifically for women, and decided upon this. Not many female orientated vest exist, and while many women just use small sized male one's, many posting I've found recommended this vest. Overall I'm happy I bought it, it offer a good amount of protection. I normally slack on wearing my jacket in the summer, due to liking freedom of movement and ability to stay cool in high heat. But this fixing that. I've worn it under loose fitting button up shirts and I love it, it offers tons of protection and I don't feel uncomfortably restricted like I do with my jacket. I also bought a S&S Star Struck Armoured Hoodie with this, and I love them together. I just removed the back protector out of the hoodie and put the vest on underneath and felt like I had tons of coverage and was still super comfortable. Due to the easy velcro closure on the vest, I can easily wear it over the hoodie with extra layers on underneath the hoodie for when it starts to get cold. Overall, great added protection to wear with a hoodie/jacket or just with everyday clothes. August 17, 2015
Body armor fits great Have taken my girl out on a few warm rides she had great air flow, moves really well with you when riding June 22, 2015
Nice and light I have a jacket but I was looking for some chest protection too, so I went with this. I'm 5'5" and 115, sm/med fits a bit loose, depending on the t-shirt. I wear the Stryker under my Icon Overlord jacket after removing the back protector. I just can't stand pink and men's all-black version is too big for me. It's so light and flexible I'm willing to overlook the pink. And I do feel like some Tron character. February 28, 2015
Great product Overall a very good product and highly recommend I am 5" 6 and weight about 138 and the sm/md fit perfect December 15, 2014
Comfort and safety I bought this vest because I couldn't really find a jacket that I liked and had the safety features that I wanted. So, I found a jacket that I liked with shoulder and elbow armor and am supplementing my protection with this vest. I am 5'7", 138lbs and long in the torso. This sm-med fit me perfectly and is very adjustable. It is light and comfy....I forget that I even have it on. I liked it so much that I also ordered one for my husband. I also think we will like wearing these vests in the hot Oklahoma summers with a light mesh jacket. Good buy for us. November 5, 2014
Great product I'm really glad I brought this....even though I have a Harley safety comes first!!!! It's extremely comfortable and it allows air to move through it!!!! August 18, 2014

karla d: My friend who rides donated a kidney to my son, so I thought this would be a great Christmas present for her to protect her one kidney Nov 28, 2015
Eyvind M: for my GF. Added protection. Oct 6, 2015

Joe D: Seems to be the best design for the money Aug 6, 2014
Dennis L: my daughter saw me riding with mine, and said that she wanted one too, for summer riding. Jul 16, 2014
Andrea K: I wanted a vest that offered protection for sport riders. This seemed to be the only armored vest for women that i could find Jul 12, 2014
Victoria B: I chose this because there have been times on the motorcycle its to hot for jacket and it would be easier to throw this on over a long sleeve shirt. May 7, 2014
A shopper asked: I do not see a size chart for this particular item. I am approx 5' 7" - 155 lbs. Should I order Small or Large and can it be returned without a restock fee? Jan 4, 2013

Randy W: I would order the large. I am about the same size as you are. We bought the sma;; for my daughter in law and there is no way I could wear the small..... Aug 14, 2013

A shopper asked: Is the front part flat or does it have an actual breast plate (contoured)? Oct 16, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Jacqueline S: It's not a breast plate per se. The front piece that you see looks like a shield in the photo is hard; designed to protect the heart/lung area chest cavity. It is not contoured like a bra Oct 16, 2014

nefi m: No it is flat. It dose have a little curve but not a breast plate Oct 17, 2014

A shopper asked: This is probably a stupid question but I'd like to know what the pink part of the woman's version is made of? Is it possible to color it red with a permanent marker or something? >"< Because I hate pink with a passion and I just can't seem to find anything meant for female that has red in it.... Aug 13, 2013

Jacqueline S: The center is a hard plastic composite, and the outer areas have some mesh. Either way, I don't think you can do anything about the color. I didn't care for pink as my bike is red and white. I got the gray color Which has a light blue edging/Accent color. It blends in with everything. If you hate the hot pink, I would just go with the lighter color. I wear mine under a denim jacket most of the time. Aug 15, 2013

Asia W: I know the feeling, i really wanted this vest in all black but they only make it for men so i was forced to purchase the black and pink. In the areas where there is pink, the material is mesh. It appears to be a netted mesh material. So if you really wanted to spray paint the areas of pink you would be able to do so. How good of a job?? I'm not sure because it's not removable. Aug 22, 2013

Raquel V: I've had mine for about a year, the brand with Icon on it is made of plastic while the rest is made of mesh type cloth. Therefore, you can color the front brand, but the rest where there is pink inside the dents and back part you can not.
However, I believe I've seen an old vest where it was Red and Black made by the same company - Icon.

Hope this helps

daphne j: You can get the mens one in red u might be able to color some of the pink but not all of it the front middle icon part is not made of the same material as the rest. There is also a blue and grey version of this vest. If u dont like pink i dont recommend you getting this. Aug 14, 2013

Jessica B: It is made out of the same material as the black parts. I am not sure red would take but you could try using a red sharpie and if that didn't work you could just color over it with black. You could also try just buying the mens vest in a small size to get the red. Aug 14, 2013

Randy W: I think you probably could cover with a red sharpie, but would probably recommend getting a men's vest so you can get the color you want. Aug 14, 2013

A shopper asked: What's the difference between this and the men's? -- I really want Black/Black (and not this pink). Thanks! Jun 3, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
ryan s: The sizing is a lot different. My s/m men's is bigger than the l/xl women's. I think the women's best is shaped a little different to allow their "woman parts" to fit better Jun 3, 2015

Ariana V: I think the only difference is the size. I have this pink one and I've seen men's and that was the only difference I could tell. Jun 3, 2015

A shopper asked: Can you store this inside your helmet? if so, is it advisable? Aug 22, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
K12RSGuy: I do not think you will be able to fold it up that small... Other than your gloves or head skin hat you should not stuff other items in your helmet. I have hard bags on my bike. That is where most things go for me. Aug 23, 2011

Randy W: no, would not be able to get it inside your helmet. Aug 14, 2013
