Icon Stryker Vest
Great for what it's meant for..
This is only a vest so its obviously not gon give you full protection like a riding jacket would.. But in the summer months wearing a jacket is not ideal. This has great spine and chest protection. Not to mention it looks badass!!

Black Goes With Everything.
This vest has awesome adjustable Velcro straps for easy adjustments. You do get the Bat Man feel and look when armor is on. I currently Zero ride an FXS in HB Cali. so air flow is a must. You do see other riders with flip flop t's on. But PCH is 60 MPH. I want to Ride and Live everyday, REVZILLA is my brand, 40 quart or can lol. The vest is all black, I can afford to ride a hoodie or jersey comfortably underneath , you can feel the weight of safety assurance but not to heavy to turn your head back for bikini I mean safety checks. Its also easy to slip on and not to hot to leave on at Cafe's. This vest is a must have in a riders library of MC's boots, jackets, pants, gloves and goggles. Improvements Nah, maybe some embroidery or patch that can always come later . Speaking of Later I'm slapping it on 79 degree out here today. Got 2 go Ride!

Great for what it is
Let me start with the sizing to help anyone wondering what size to get. I'm about 5'11" 180-185 lbs, 32 inch waist, 42 inch chest. I went with the L/XL since that was recommended for chest sizes 40-44 inches and it's really a perfect fit. Nice and snug on the chest and plenty of adjustability with the velcro around the stomach and lower back.
This is obviously not as protective as a jacket, so I'm not taking any stars off for that reason. This is great as an additional piece for under a jacket to get extra back protection and some chest protection. On it's own, it's very comfortable on those really hot days and is definitely better than nothing at all. Clearly your arms would get torn up if you went down, but your spine/core will be well protected. Rode with just the vest and a t shirt on a 90 degree humid day and it felt great. Later tried riding with my summer mesh jacket and it was obviously much hotter. But there is a trade off for protection with comfort.
I would recommend this for anyone who wants to ride no jacket on hot days and at least wear this for some protection. And for cooler riding, this can be an awesome addition to wear under a jacket.

Guys: Get it. Ladies: Maybe get it.
For the ladies looking here because the "female" version of this armor only comes in white or black with pink accents: don't be disheartened. I came here for the same reason, and I was apprehensive about getting the "standard" because I'd just had to return a "men's" suit of moto armor because even my basically-nonexistent-cleavage was too much for it to fit or close comfortably. But I love this armor. It's perfect.
Opening Caveat: if you have even a moderately-sized chest, you might indeed have to get armor specifically fitted for women and just hope you can find some without pastels on them. At least Revzilla has a great return policy, right? Send it back if trying it on goes badly.
For the smaller ones among us: look no further.
Style: It doesn't matter which colors you get; this armor looks cool. You can go hi-viz or "stealth", it's all the same. I got the all-black and then attached a bunch of reflective tape in various colors to the front and the back for visibility, but to each their own. Reviews indicate that the spine protector is longer on this standard vest than on the women's version, and that seems like it can only be a good thing. I'm 5'6" and it's not a hindrance in any way. And even if you feel like a dork wearing armor into a Walmart [and I do], I've had numerous strangers come up and tell me that it looked cool. So. There's that.
Sizing: I do wish it came in slightly more specific sizes; the S-M is just slightly too large lengthwise, and to get it really tight I have to pull the soft velcro material of the sides extremely far over to get the velcro hooks on the other side as far forward as I can. That said, it's not uncomfortable even so, and it feels secure once I've finagled the velcro.
Fit: It's comfortable. I've ridden with this over a t-shirt or a button-up [for work], and also under a track jacket, and it's all the same. Airflow around it is superb, and the inner material doesn't lend itself to excessive sweating, so you won't find yourself with a vest-shaped sweat imprint once you take it off. As an added bonus, wearing this under my riding backpack has SEVERELY reduced the fatigue I feel when carrying a backpack that's even a little heavy; the shoulder material takes a majority of the pressure off of your shoulders themselves, and instead distributes it more evenly around your entire torso, with the spine plates especially helping with keeping your back from getting sore. Honestly, even if this didn't feel like it would protect me at all in a crash, I'd buy it just because of this. Fatigue while carrying a backpack has been a complaint of mine since I started riding, and it's an enormous breath of fresh air to feel such relief with the Stryker after so many years.
Protection: The armor feels solid and well-made. It won't save your life if you're already going 10,000 miles an hour, but it certainly feels like it could be the difference between heavy bruising vs an obliterated sternum/ribcage. The spine armor is even thicker than the front, and while it would obviously need to be replaced if it took a really hard hit, I feel comfortable saying that it feels like it could really make a difference when and where you need it to. An obvious note: all of this paragraph is based on observations made without having actually impact-tested the armor. If, god forbid, I find myself in a crash with the armor on, I'll update with a retrospective. This is just what I take from it based on my limited ability to test it without hurtling myself into oncoming traffic.
Durability: Nothing about this vest seems flimsy or badly-made. Velcro is always the first thing to go on any product that contains it, but even the velcro seems durable. I've put 300 miles on this vest and it's still as good as new. I've seen other reviewers mention that the plugs holding the spine armor in place popped out, but mine seem as secure as ever.
Conclusion: Got a small chest and want an armored vest not plastered in pastels? This is it. Whether you're getting it because you're an ATGATT rider [such as myself] or just for rougher days or longer rides, it looks great, feels great, and wears great. And, again, I cannot emphasize enough how much tension this took off my shoulders when carrying a backpack. It's seriously worth wearing it for that alone, as someone who already has a constantly-annoyed spine.

I bought this as an alternative to both my jackets on the extremely humid days during the summers in Ohio. Your arms and elbows are exposed, which is something to think about if you go down, but that's the trade off to wearing a jacket with elbow armor. I have a 42 inch chest and tried on a L/XL, and the girl that was helping me said it fit fine but was lose around my torso it could slide out of place, and that I should get a SM/M and she was right. Fits great. Only downfall is the price, but oh well. It looks cool, and when you wear it your T shirt doesn't flap around.

Excellent choice for versatility
This vest is really nice, it fits well and adjusts easily. I can wear it under/over anything I want and it's very easy to put on and take off. I cut say I really experience any discomfort while riding with it on, but one thing to note is that It doesn't breathe very great, but it's only a vest so it isn't too inconvenient.

Use in South Florida
Haven't had to test protection yet, riding daily on city streets and highways and until we hit the hundred degree temps it was sweet.
Here the humidity and high temperatures make it very uncomfortable to wear much in the way of armor and since I got the vest I have worn it regularly. Good Construction, design and qc.
Fit is excellent.
Highly recommend the Stryker Vest.
