Shoei RF-1100 Rollin' Helmet

The RF-1100 Rollin' graphic finally offers a retro styled option to the Shoei lineup.

AIM+ Shell Construction:

  • Aerodynamic properties are maximized through extensive wind tunnel and professional riders’ feedback
  • High performance fiber materials are combined with extremely elastic organic fibers to create shell structure that is ultra lightweight, rigid and resilient
  • 5 Shell Sizes and six EPS liner configurations present increased fit options that comfortably fit most head sizes
  • A third generation Tail Fin, integrated into the bottom rear beading in combination with the Shell-Integrated Spoiler, allows smooth airflow that reduces drag and lift

CW-1 Face Shield

  • The CW-1, three-dimensionally curved shield is both wider and taller than the CX-1V it replaces

Q.R.S.A. (Quick Release Self-Adjusting) Base Plate System

  • Q.R.S.A. base plate allows for tool-less face shield removal and installation.
  • Every time the shield is lowered, the spring-loaded base plate (U.S. patent pending 11/799935) pulls the shield back to contact the window beading evenly, ensuring a wind and waterproof seal between shield and helmet

Variable Ventilation System

  • Upper Air Intake Vent is positioned to maximize air volume into the helmet interior
  • Top outlet vent is separate from the Shell-
  • Integrated Spoiler, allowing it to be positioned for optimum flow-through ventilation
  • Four rear outlet vents allow for adjustment of airflow based on riding position
  • Enlarged lower air intake/defroster vent reduces shield fogging and increases ventilation
  • The rear/neck outlets allow for effective air exhaust
  • Breath guard and chin curtain included

Interior System

  • The entire interior lining (cheek pads, crown liner and chin strap covers) is easily removed to allow cleaning
  • Each component of the inner liner is ergonomically designed to offer the ultimate in safety, fit and comfort
  • Eyeglass compatible

Tech Specs

  • 5 shell sizes
  • Weight: 3.54 Pounds / 1604grams (based on size medium / solid color)
  • DOT and Snell M2010 approved

Shoei RF-1100 Rollin Helmet 4.8 5 12 12
Accurate fit for a narrow oval My head measurement is 55 cm and choose a small. The fit is perfect....tight in the cheeks but they will break in. I recommend the helmet for a narrow profile if in doubt. Easy screen removal and we'll ventilated. We'll done Shoei and Revzilla! February 6, 2014
Amazing Style Greatest step up in a helmet anyone could ask for. Just by the fit alone I can say this helmet will be great in the spring and summer months. The only reason for a not perfect rating is because I haven't riden with it yet due to it being winter but by just putting it on you can feel that it is a too end helmet for a lower end price. Can't wait to put it to it's full potential and when I do I will be sure to update my review February 4, 2014
Amazing amount of helmet for the price! This helmet has more comfort for less money than any other Shoei I could find. If you are working on a budget and want a helmet that is both DOT and SNELL approved AND comfortable, look no further. This is a VERY comfortable helmet with relatively good airflow while moving. The only 2 downsides would be that it fogs ever-so slightly while at a stop (in cold weather), and it has a small whistle (I believe the RF-1200 has fixed the whistle, but cost a lot more). Both are remedied fairly easily; open your visor at the stop and wear ear plugs (which you should be doing anyway). The flat black and checker pattern is of very high quality as well and has proved very scratch resistant in the short time that I've had it. Overall, the helmet is amazing for the price. I mean...it's a Shoei, of course it's going to be a good helmet!! December 30, 2013
I really recommend Very good product. I really Recommend. Shoei is very good. December 17, 2013
Gold standard The Shoei RF-1100 is as good as it gets. You can pay more for a helmet, but it won't give you better protection. Shoei is the gold standard. I have a narrow head, and the small fits great on me. And the quick release, washable padding is tight enough to be safe, but comfortable. Even with numerous vents, I think airflow could probably be slightly better, but I live in Houston, where it's just gonna be hot in a full face helmet when you're standing still. And once you get going above 30 mph, it's fine. Easy, one-handed locking and lifting/closing. The notches keep the visor right where you want it, even at highway speeds. The style on the Rollin' is super fierce. I opted for the dark smoke visor--the only way to go--and I get compliments on it all the time. I tried a reflective visor on it, and it really didn't match. A lady ran over my bike in a parking lot and scratched the helmet up, so her insurance gave me the money to buy a new one. I loved my Shoei Rollin' so much, I bought the same exact helmet. Great helmet!! I just got this helmet and it is exactly what I was hoping for. I switched out the clear visor for a smoke visor for daytime riding. It looks awesome! It fits like a glove too. Although I wish the airflow was a little bit better to avoid fogging, once the air vents are open and the bike is moving there is no problem. Overall, I'm very satisfied. September 16, 2013
Best helmet I ever have so far I love everything about this helmet. the service was great, and I will definitely recommend REVZILLA. no doubt... July 29, 2013
Very comfortable and very high quality I was in the market for a new helmet as my RF1000 was at 6 years old and the end of its useful life. I loved the fit of that helmet but was thinking I'd move to something with an internal sun visor, and then I saw the RF1100 with the Rollin paint scheme. It was love at first sight. I read all the reviews but it didn't take much convincing, as my RF1000 was a great helmet and I was very happy with it. The 1100 is more comfortable in my opinion. It's not the quietest helmet and the venting is average at best, but the construction is top notch and the quality is evident. It seems to be very aerodynamic; even on a naked bike my head is not getting thrown all over the place at speed. I replaced the clear shield with the light smoke version as that works for me day or night and eliminates the need for sunglasses 99% of the time. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The flat black Rollin paint is awesome, it looks right at home on my flat black Harley Fat Bob, and just as good on my classic Suzuki GT750. The look of this helmet drew me in, but the Shoei quality and reputation is why I bought it. I highly recommend it. July 24, 2013
