The EXO R2000 is Scorpion's flagship performance race helmet. Built with exclusive TCT composite shell construction, the lightweight EXO-2000 was developed by Scorpion engineers with input from MotoGP riders and tested on the track as well as in the lab. Scorpion's exclusive Ellip-Tec ratchet technology ensures a tight seal around the shield while the advanced aero-tuned ventilation system produces generous airflow and circulation throughout the helmet.
The aerodynamically designed tear-drop shell shape minimizes buffeting at high speeds and the AirFit cheekpad system ensures a custom snug fit. The Scorpion EXO-R2000 comes equipped with Emergency Release cheek pads, a standard EverClear shield PLUS a bonus Dark Smoke EverClear shield. Pinlock MaxVision- ready flat shields with tearoff posts are available as an accessory for the track (sold separately). Scorpion's DNA is infused into every facet of the EXO-R2000 and the result is a new benchmark for quality and value in a premium helmet.
TCT Composite Shell - Developed exclusively by Scorpion and consisting of a proprietary 5 layer blend of fiberglass, Aramid and organic poly-resin fibers
AirFit- Permits a rider to personalize helmet fit through air adjustable cheek pads

Tight fit. A little too tight the first few times putting it on but after break in it fits really nice. Size chart right on point. Good amount of air flow. Nice storage bag and extra tinted faceshield. Great helmet for under $400.

I've tried everything helmet type, and most brands, and I always come crawling back to the full face helmet. My Shark RSR was bulky and worn out and I sold my Shoei 1100 to my brother--I needed a new full face. The Shoei 1200 was an excellent, comfortable fit at the store, but the price wasnt. I basically got the same fit, same comfort, for a $100 less by getting the Scorpion...minus the stupid chin strap and thinner windshield. It does come with a tinted shield and shield bag though which was a nice bonus.

Good Priced Helmet
Was looking for my first helmet and was down to this and a Shoe RF1200. Went to the store and tried on the Shoei, too tight for me and ordered this.
Only complaint is their seems to be a lack of soft padding on the crown of your head, but it's not noticeable unless you're pushing down on the helmet.

The Best of the Best!!
This Helmet really impressed me the first time (I bought the R2000 Dispatch first) that I wanted to buy another one, and since I needed a solid black helmet, I went with Scorpion again. I love everything about this helmet, very stylish, comfortable, great airflow while being quiet as well, and the best part is that it comes with the Dark Smoke face shield. I recommend this helmet to everybody.

James S: Great value and very good build quality. One of my riders high-sided last year and this helmet did exactly what it needed to do. Given the beating it took, it is no longer usable, but again. 60 MPH crash and no no cuts, no bumps no bruises. This product stood up admirably.May 7, 2015
Jonathan P asked:According to the size chart, my helmet size lands right in between medium and large. I'm afraid if I go large that once the helmet breaks in, it may be a loose fit. Whereas if I go medium the fit may be uncomfortably tight until it breaks in. Any advice ?May 21, 2015
Brandal G:Go Large. I am a true large head and have a fair amount of time in the helmet. I use it primarily for racing but also commute occasionally in it. It is a touch tight and the chin bar is much closer than either my Arai's or Shoei's. I have grown use to it none the less. This is a fine helmet. I would by another. Hope this helps. Ryan L:Love this helmet. It depends on where it's tight. The cheek pads lose more area than the crown of your head. If the crown on a medium is too small with a 15% reduction, buy the large. The pump system is great for keeping the cheek pads snug even after break in. May 21, 2015
I noticed the video stated the helmet was optimized for the 3/4 and tucked position while saying it worked in all riding positions. Do you have any experience with its upright performance or know if scorpion is planning on coming out with an upright version of this helmet?Aug 25, 2012
RevZilla:Because the helmet hasn't been released, we do not have any on road experience with the Scorpion EXO-R2000 Helmet yet. Consider this helmets main competition, the RF-1100, which works more or less in all riding positions, tuck is not the greatest. That being said, this helmet will work ok in the upright riding position but works best in a tuck or 3/4. We do not have any information about other Scorpion Helmets being released specifically designed for the standard riding position at this time.Aug 28, 2012
Izzaldin O:done about 200 miles with it on my Honda NC700S which has a very upright seating position. No issues with either wind buffeting or noise. Engage the Airfit system and it feels glued to your head during head checks. Just dont forget to release the air before you take it off..Dec 10, 2014
Keith A:While I havent used speakers before, I can tell you that the helmet is tight to your ears. This helmet, while doing headchecks backwards, kinda pushes into your ear more to, I assume give better aerodynamics and decrease airflow coming in.
It's very much a racer helmet, but thats not to say it isn't a great helmet for city riding. I've owned a Bell Vortex, HJC FG-17 and CL-16, an Icon Alliance as well as a Shoei RF-1100 and this helmet is by far not only the best helmet in terms of fit, but is really awesome with airflow, vision, noise. Not to mention the extra shield and it looks awesome.
Get this helmet, you will not be disappointed as long as the speakers isnt a deal breaker!Aug 15, 2014
