Great helmet overall I like the fit, the graphics and that there isn't any significant deflection from this helmet at speed. The ventilation is pretty good, but the plastic cover of the forehead/chin vent seems to be fairly cheap. My forehead vent cover broke off fairly quickly after buying this helmet. still, I do like the helmet quite a bit. Scorpion brand helmets fit me really well, and I haven't had the broken vent cover problem on any others I've owned. Also, the drop down visor has yet to receive a scratch on it, after months and months of riding with the main visor up. It seems very durable. However, it doesn't block the sun nearly as well as cheap sunglasses- which was disappointing, but still useful because enough light/glare is blocked that my eyes can adjust comfortably enough. BANG FOR THE BUCK! Can't do any better than this! Hats off to Revzilla for the free shipping to Hawaii. One of the reasons I keep coming back! In terms of bang for the buck, you can't go wrong with this helmet. It should be priced at $100 - $200 more. I have Shoeis, Arais, a Bell and a Shark. This helmet can hang with the best of them. What I like: The graphics on this helmet are insane. I definitely have a helmet fetish, and when I come across something interesting, I usually end up with it. I really love how the graphics come together on this helmet and actually cover or integrate with the vents. Airflow is really good. One of the better helmets I have for circulating the air out. The pump system to customize the cheek pads for fit actually work really well. I didn't have to pump too much, but I could definitely feel loose spaces around my cheeks and jaw fit better. The air comes out really quickly when hitting the release button too, so there's hardly any wait time for deflating and getting the helmet off. For those with thinner jaws and cheeks, this may be the answer for you. In terms of the visor, the fog-free coating works really well. I have to say the coating on this works better than any of the other helmets I have in keeping the visor fog-free. Finally, I really like the quick release system for removing the visor. It's pretty much fool proof and allows quick changes of the visor. I bought the chrome mirrored visor for this helmet and was able to put it on very quickly. Some misses: I can't find anything glaringly wrong with this helmet. If I had to nitpick, I will point out that some of vent pieces feel a little "plasticky", maybe not as solid as on my Shoei. For me, the chinstrap padding doesn't give me full coverage under my chin. There's about a gap of an inch and a half where the chin strap pads meet when I have it tightened. Overall fit and finish is great though. Summary: Like I said, this helmet has amazing bang for the buck and fits really well. All my helmets are mediums, and this one is as well. The helmet was a little snug when I first got it, but after wearing it around the house for about an hour and then going riding for a bit, the helmet broke in just fine and now fits perfectly to my head. If you want a helmet that looks great and performs well at an extremely low price point for this caliber of helmet, look no further. December 26, 2013
Excellent Helmet I recently purchased a EXO1100 helmet, this helmet is much lighter and quieter than my old helmet, the thing I like most is that the helmet is very a aero and cut down buffeting. It is not as comfortable as my old helmet but I think it will get better with time. December 17, 2013
All-In-all great helmet My last helmet was a lower level HJC and fit loose after it was broken in and was quite noisy, so I rounded down on this one and it fits quite snug. I would definitely round up in size on this particular helmet if you are borderline. That's the only negative and it is preventable. Rides much quieter than my previous helmet and looks good too. The flip down visor is awesome and you do not have to worry about spending money on tinted visors every few months after they get all scratched up. Very nice helmet, huge upgrade from my last and that was exactly what I wanted. December 6, 2013
Scorpion EXO-1100 Kranium Helmet I like the helmet. It puts a bit of pressure on my forehead and the piping that lines the head liner leaves a mark in my forehead. I have only had it for a week so it may still need more break in. The helmet is pretty loud. Even at lower speeds. A couple items on the helmet were not quite alined perfect. The notch on the top of the face shield and the brow vent are not lined up perfect and the vent cover on the back vent doesn't line up very well either. These things to me are pretty minor and I am pretty happy with the helmet overall. The graphic is awesome! October 1, 2013
Great features for the price. Only been wearing the helmet for the past month so far no problems. Venting is average, fit is good, vision is good. The internal sun visor works well, it could be a little darker. The helmet should already come with the darker shield instead of the light smoke. I replaced mine with the dark smoke. I would recommend this helmet to others. September 2, 2013
What more do you need! love this helmet, compared to my HJC RPHA FS-11-15 premiere touring helmet its lighter, has more room around my ears and internal visor lever is'nt a slider on the top (which was a pain) and better air flow. its winter here in New Zealand so its getting a good fogging test as im commuting to work @ 6am and its better than the HJC, some fogging but nothing thats a major, all in all i recommend this helmet, cheers to the revzilla team and the review vids for helping me choose this helmet August 1, 2013
Great Helmet for a while. This is an awsome helmet the only down side I see is with the mirror shield on it it reflects to much of your face. Also if the helmet is left in direct sunlight it even for short periods of time the sun will turn parts of the helmet gold. I left the helmet hanging on the handle bars a couple of times so now the back of it is gold and the front half is still silver. June 13, 2013
