Great boot - size down Great boot. Awesome styling and everything you would expect from Alpinestars. I am normally a 10.5 and ordered the 11 which was far too big. Down to a 10 and fits much better. August 29, 2014
Great boot I am using this for dual-sport riding on gravel roads and also for trail riding, great boots. July 5, 2014
Great Boot I bought the Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro Boots to replace a 15 year old Tech 5. The fit was a bit narrow for my D sized foot but in the end it has not been a problem. They do squeak a lot while walking until you use some silicone lubricant. So far, I have only worn them in warm dry weather and they are comfortable. July 1, 2014
Great boot for the dry season These boot are very comfortable especially if you have skinny ankles, and that's hard to find. As for water proof/resistance they are not. Standing in the water they leak immediatly and driving through puddles just the same. May 27, 2014
These saved my ankle I bought these for a week long trip in Death Valley. The temperature was undoubtedly hot, usually over 100 every day. While I could have used more air flow, given the circumstances these performed as I would have expected. Thankfully I could take them off very quickly and get my legs and feet some much needed air. We rode just under 1000 miles. During the course, I had three unexpected "dismounts." They were all very minor, but during one I felt the bike land on my foot. My toes were pointed toward the ground and the bike falling on my heel. It could have easily resulted in some major pain, but I literally felt the boot flex under the pressure and my bike slid away. No bruise, no scratch, barely even a good yoga stretch on my feet. However, had I not been wearing these boots, I am certain my story would be different. I was riding an f800gs May 5, 2014
Fantastic boots I bought these boots a week before a 55 mile enduro race and wore them basically right out of the box for the event. I would have worn my old boots but I sold them without planning ahead. I was concerned that without break in time I would be hating life but after 50 some miles brand new with no break in, my feet were great! No issues whatsoever. The low profile, grippy enduro sole, solid construction and choice materials all make for a great boot. Highly recommend, especially for the price! What a great deal. Will probably replace with the same when these wear out. April 16, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Richard K: I am going to try them out as Adventure boots. Would like more protection that my current Sidi Discoverys. Apr 22, 2014

James S: I'll try to help but sounds like a question for AStars. My understanding is the part of the soul that is replaceable is just the center or arch section which contacts the pegs as this is a higher wear area. The rest of the soul seems bonded to the upper. Sep 9, 2014

Rich G: The arch is a replaceable insert, but the forefoot and heel are integrated into the TPU upper, so I think the short answer is no; the entire sole cannot be replaced. Sep 9, 2014

Justin C: The tech 7 has the enduro soles and the inserts(where the pegs rub) are replaceable Sep 10, 2014

We just saw the Alpine Stars Tech 7 boot get shot out of a cannon and I have a full detailed breakdown on it, but this is the Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro.  And where the Alpine Stars Tech 7 is designed to be that one piece construction for the MX world, the Enduro version really only changes the sole.  That's why we're briefly glancing through it today.  Remember, full height boot, full support, new Alpine Stars aluminum self cleaning buckle system?  I'm really happy to walk you through all of that.  But the big key change here, as I lay them down, you're going to see it's the sole.  MX function, all terrain, hardcore technical adventure riding function that doesn't need to be water proof.  Remember that.  Non water proof boot, but if we look at it you're getting a different durometer, a different area of teeth here, a different contact patch with the ground both at the toe, as well as the heel, compared to the very much super cross and motor cross styled regular Tech 7 Enduro.

The Enduro version just changes these two features and has the exact same, what I will call flavor profile and functional scheme as the regular Tech 7.  Black version; white version; a black, white, orange version are available.  And the nice part is you're still getting the replaceable insert, right here, that's going to go along the area where your pegs will interface with the boot that will wear out over time.  Again, they're just giving you that additional functionality for more technical adventure riding, stepping on branches, Enduro riding, trails riding, that you would get from this boot where is you're not going to really need it on the MX version which is that normal Tech 7 version of this boot.  So the next step in your journey is to click here and read other rider reviews of the Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro at revzilla.com.

See, you can see here even from the front, same boot on a frontal profile side of things.  As always we are going to ship for free and I'm really happy for you to talk to any gear geek on my team if you want to walk through the nuances, versus the MX style version. The Enduro with the all terrain sole.
