Great 3 Season Glove Great looking glove with good protection and comfort. Palm pad fit in glove perfectly for handling position. Helps reduce vibration fatigue on long rides. Not sure it will work for a cold winter ride but it should be good for other 3 seasons. April 15, 2013

The review is spot on, This glove is even better than what I thought it would be!!! I thought this glove would be thin, and light, but its actually thicker and more protective then I thought it would be. I love this glove. I am always 2 sizes smaller than Anthony, and the sizing is spot on! I like to feel the controls but like the security of having protection as well, great gloves are hard to come by, I will have to stock up ;-) <3 February 28, 2013
Awesome Glove! These gloves are awesome! The are extremely comfortable and offer basic protection for the critical areas like the knuckles and palm. The goat skin offers very good tactile response so I can feel the controls. The elasticated cuff is very accommodating makes the glove even more comfortable. I love these gloves! February 5, 2013

The Maverick is gray-ish brown in color while these gloves are more of a clay brown.

How do I go about measuring my hand for the size chart? Do I measure around my knuckles? Or is it from the tip of my middle finger to the bottom of the wrist? The size chart doesn't really explain how to measure the hand.

The size chart is based on the measurement of the area of your hand that is between your knuckle and the webbing of your thumb.

Please describe the elastic inserts. Will these inserts move within the glove or are they fixed? I wouldn't want some additional material inside the glove that didn't stay where it was supposed to be. What is the purpose of these inserts?

Answer: 
The elastic inserts are designed to allow for additional stretch. These inserts are fixed and found in the wrist/cuff area of the glove. It's not even really an insert, think of an elasticated stretch panel.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
