Great helmet. Luxury features and mid range price. I have owned this helmet for just over a month and have ridding about 250 miles in it, a mixture of freeway and back roads. First impressions: Build quality is EXCELLENT. The fit and finish of this helmet is superb. Great attention to detail. For my shape of head the fix is GRAND! The bets fit I had prior to this was an HJC LT-12 in MEDIUM. The S2 in LARGE fits me perfectly. The drop down visor is a medium tint and works very smoothly. The ratchet closure mechanism is also great. Positively locking and easy to remove. The shield fits snugly, moves easily but stays in position well, even at freeway speeds. The helmets interior is classy, just classy, though I was hoping the noise level would be a bit quieter. Its a quiet helmet to be sure, but if quiet is your MAIN objective this might not be your best choice. The fat chin bar looks and feels solid. Overall, awesome helmet. September 21, 2015
Loving my new Schuberth S2! I was really torn between the S2 and the C3 Pro but I was choking on the purchase price of the C3 Pro. When the S2 went on sale it was a no brainer to buy. Thankfully I moved quickly as I ended up with the last XXXL before they sold out. I have been wearing an alternate helmet but felt it was too loud and a bit on the heavy side for me. I was looking for a highly rated helmet with good options for sound system (?SRC?) and one that offered an internal sun screen. So my concern was how would the S2 fit on my size 22" neck? I figured the sizing chart was true for my melon (and it is spot on) but my concern was the neck brace padding and how it would fit on my neck. Well, the answer is it fits perfectly! Airflow was a bit limited but by no means a major issue. My ears were pinned down initially when I first put it on but that resolved easily enough and have had no subsequent issues. So now my question is... will I be able to fit an SRCS on this helmet and have it still fit my neck? Stay tuned.... September 15, 2015
Exceptionally Versatile Helmet This helmet has excelled in all conditions. From extended freeway riding, to short trips around town I have been nothing but happy with the performance of this helmet. At first I wasn't sure about having a flip down sun visor, but not having to carry around a spare pair of sunglasses has been great.I only wish the sun-visor were a bit darker. The included Pinlock insert has made my commute home in the evening that much safer, eliminating the fogging that used to be a real problem to me. The helmet vents a surprising amount of air, considering that it only has the top vent and chinbar vent. I have noticed that the chin vent produces a high pitched whistling when open at speed, but It's not very loud and is a non-issue when wearing earplugs. Overall I'm very happy with my Schuberth and would certainly recommend giving one a try. September 4, 2015
louder than expected Okay,,, with all the advertising about how quite this helmet was you could imagine my expectation and excitement. Major let down the helmet was very loud when the chin vent is open. I close the vent and the noise level gets better. but then the screen fogs up. I was disappointed. and its a rocketing noise thats very bursty and damaging.. I had to find a store to sell me ear plugs while riding today. Also i have the hissing sound like I just got out of an AC/DC concert in my left ear.. wishing I bought the C3 pro I hear it is much more quite... a bit bummed right now October 3, 2015
Some what disappointed, just for me My first time buying a schuberth helmet. I have a few helmets in my closet, I don't consider myself an expert but I do have a few. Arai vector 2, RxQ, signet Q, corsair V, HJC RPHA 10, AGV gp tech, k4 evo (my wife's ) . Some in mediums, a couple in large.... My head is 59cm....kinda in between there.... I bought a large in schuberth and I have to say, I couldn't even put my head thru.... So tight !!! .... I finally did and felt pressure points everywhere..... My head is somewhat round oval but even with the arai signet Q head liner side peeled off I was comfy in it. Then I tried taking the helmet off, oh man, I felt like my ears were about to fall off..... No thanks Schuberth... BUT it's not all cons for me, the helmet is VERY very well builted. High quality stuff, probably very warm in the winter since the neck roll is huge and thick. Color paint is excellent and what else is better made in Germany.... I'm sure for the right person, it's a home run and since it's on sale on REVZZZZZZZilllllllaaaaa for $375 ! ...... 375 !! HELLOOOOOO !!! .... I am super upset that it's not for me .... Fit like a glove out of the box. Was a bit concerned with all the talk about Schuberth's notorious shape that applies pressure to the forehead. Fortunately, it did not apply to me. Out of the box, the helmet was a perfect fit. Beautifully styled and quality construction has made me a true Schuberth fan. It is the only brand I will buy from now on. September 28, 2015
Great Helmet Best helmet I ever owned. Fits perfect which is something only Nexx helmets have achieved to date. For those who do not have a round Charlie Brown like gourd, and actually have a chin and something of an oblong head, this helmet is perfect. I don't think I'll ever get anything else. Love the fit, sun visor, noise level and ventilation. Peripheral vision is good too. September 28, 2015
Looks good but not so durable I liked the fit and comfort, but after one ride the little clip on the side to keep the visor locked in, broke off. a week later the vent slider on top of the helmet broke off. I want to like this helmet because it fits well and looks good, but using flimsy materials is just not right for a helmet at this price. September 28, 2015

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
George G: This helmet was a perfect match with the BMW racing colors on my K1300S. In addition, I wanted a full face helmet versus my flip Schuberth for use on this go fast bike versus my CVO Harley. Oct 5, 2015
Tim G: best price i have ever seen on this quality of a helmet
Thanks Revzilla!

Luis C: For Quality Sep 11, 2015
" ": I was about to buy a shoei GT-AIR and change my mind to the schuberth. I think they are pure close to each other, but the price deal of the schuberth make a lot diference to me. Sep 9, 2015
W I: I am hoping it fits my head better than the C3 Aug 30, 2015
Mark S: This is the best helmet I have purchased. It is light and love the chin strap release. I will hopefully be purchasing the communication system for it soon. Aug 19, 2015
Anthony I: Low sound. Features. Also like Arai RX-Q. Schuberth has cool graphic and is now on sale. Aug 4, 2015
Michael H: I have been looking at this helmet for a while. The sale price make me buy it immediately. Jul 20, 2015
andrew b: for the known high quality of the Schuberth line of helmets May 20, 2015
T A: Looking forward to improved wind reduction both for noise and reducing drag resistance in a versatile street/track helmet. Jan 25, 2015
Christopher B: Upgrading from a Shoei Quest. I was on the fence between Shoei GT Air and Schuberth S2. What sold me on the Schuberth was the inner lining comfort was superior, and Schuberth has a "Mobility Program" (check the website for more details), which offers a 2/3 cost replacement helmet, if damaged in a crash. Both flow excellent amounts of air, and my head shape was more suited to the Schuberth (pinched ear-tops in the Shoei GT AIR/Quest.) Thanks, Anthony for the vid reviews on both! W00ty w00t5! Nicholas L: I purchased this helmet as a replacement for an Arai RX-Q helmet. I was more impressed with the fit after trying both the Arai and a 2013 Schuberth side by side. I was also impressed with the new Shuberth graphic after seeing an article and video from webbikeworld at the AIMExpo show.

love the look of the white/blue/red BMW Motorsport look!

othoniel f asked: Hey,is this helmet prescription glasses friendly, and does it only except it's own communication system? Aug 17, 2015

Bradford K: I bought this helmet end of May, and very much like it. Well, as well as one can like a helmet!

I cannot answer the second part of the question about communications systems compatibility, and can only indirectly give you an idea on the first part of your question: Mine is a snug fit and thus I have not worn it with sunglasses, much less prescription glasses, so I cannot directly answer your question. It does have the internal tinted lens you can drop down which serves a similar purpose to sunglasses, such that I have not needed to try wearing actual glasses while wearing the S2 Ghost. I would think if this is a big concern you'd want to either size up a bit, or try on some other Schuberth at a local store with your glasses to know before ordering one online. Wish I could be more help.

Mark S: I can answer the first part. I wear sunglasses and when riding directly into the sun in the morning I've dropped the built in sun shield without hitting my sunglasses. I would think prescription glasses would not be a problem. I don't know about the communication system but seems another brand should still work. I've owned Shoei helmets mostly but this is the nicest helmet I've owned. The face shield goes off and on much easier than my Shoei's and I like the chin strap system better. Aug 17, 2015

Anthony I: I can't comment on the communication system, but I can wear my prescription glasses with the helmet without problems - even with the built in sun shades. Aug 17, 2015

Matthew E asked: Has anybody tried throwing a sena smh 10 on here? Would it fit with the neck roll? Sep 27, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
K L: It barely fits, but I did throw one on. However, the neck roll will not clip in the side with the Sena attached. I still use the neck roll, and it works fine, it just doesn't clip in on that side so the plastic ring is exposed. Sep 28, 2015

Max R: It dose fit but it is complicated and time consuming. They really want you to use their brand. I still use the sena though Sep 28, 2015

Robert S asked: Just bought this helmet and I love how light it is and the look! The helmet is a large and it's snug but after riding for about 30 mins. It's pretty tight against my forehead. I don't think this is something that's going to wear w/ time and become comfortable. Anyone else have this issue? Sep 13, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Michael H: No issue with me. This helmet may not be right for your head as I find I can't wear many models myself. Probably won't get better. Sep 13, 2015
