Great Product - Caveat for eyeglasses wearers
Pros: Works wonderfully! I used it down to 35 degrees F on a naked bike. It would be good for even colder. Light and comfortable. Long enough to keep tucked into a jacket with short collar. Totally windproof.

Cons: If you wear eyeglasses, as I do, you need to keep the very front pulled BELOW your nose, or it will direct hot breath upwards and fog your glasses.

Cold Philly Days are here
Should have sales people ask people interested in this to try it on with their helmet. I think I would have gone a size smaller if I had done that.

It works.
Just got off 4 hour 70-80 mph ride in 30 degree weather. I wear a half helmet with goggles and this windcollar works perfectly. Kept me warm and could easily manipulate (full face to neck only). The long shoulder shroud keeps cold air from going down your collar to inside your jacket. Great piece of riding gear.

It does the work
I did my first 1200km day with the windcollar, and it was comfortable all the way. I had to fuss around a bit to get the back right, but once adjusted, it kept the wind and rain out. The back could be a little longer for us taller guys, but other than that, it works.

Rev;it wind collar
Excellent purchase, it's waterproof, windproof, warm (used down to 18 degreesF), no draughts or water down the neck, does just what it says on the box.

Complete wind protection
Love the complete coverage around my neck to block wind and the thinner mesh over my nose for breathing comfort. Does a great job of blocking wind preventing anything from going down my neck. Once the weather gets cold, it's all about blocking the wind and this does that extremely well. Medium worked for this guy who is 5'11", 180 lbs, & wears a 7.5" hat.

Possibly my best bit of riding gear
I wear this under a full face helmet in weather below 55 or so.

I have come to rely on this wind collar. It is a great piece of underrated and under appreciated gear, IMO. When it is cold, wearing this under my winter jacket makes the difference between frozen misery and comfort.

I even throw it into my solo bag often during the summer, because wearing it under my leather jacket makes riding home in chilly night air much more pleasant.

Seriously, this is the piece of gear that I can honestly say is worth every penny.

The only thing that is a little puzzling is the way that the fabric is sewn at the back of the collar. I don't understand the design idea here, but it's not a detriment. Aside from my leather jacket, this is probably the piece of gear I would be most hesitant to give up.

Keeps my neck and face warm
This windcollar does just what it says. I was riding to work everyday for months in the cold before I bought this. The first day I wore it I was suprised at how warm my neck and face were on the ride without the wind factor. Seems to be great quality and it's real comfortable. I'm a medium size guy 6'1" 185. The medium size fits me well.

great for winter riding
I have been able to ride so much this winter thanks to the wind collar!!!! It is so nice to be able to ride and not have cold air going down your jacket. The price is a little high but compared to other products I've used this is thicker and keeps you warm for the whole ride.

Great purchase. I wear a 3/4 and this keeps me warm on the coldest of morning rides on my 200 mile round trip commute at 4:30 in the morning, and, when it has been cold on the ride home. Took with me when I went skiing in Montana last winter, it is the bomb! When your neck is warm, all is good! Had mine two years and it is holding up perfect.

I bought this to go with my set of rain gear to keep wetness out of the area between the helmet and jacket. I have a long skinny neck. :)

Old gaiter's inner fleece was getting gross and pilled. I prefer these because it comes your upper chest area too which is important for winter riding.

Having a hard time deciding on what size to get on this windcollar. Any suggestions on how I can find out what size will fit me?

I was looking at the Rev'it sizing charts but can't find one specific to this collar.
A shopper on May 10, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The REV'IT! Windcollar does not have a size chart, but is made of a stretchy material and is easy to fit. The size difference mostly refers to the length of the product more than the head circumference. I suggest ordering the same size you might wear in a knit winter hat.
