Great pant I really like these pants. I use them for commuting and they have proven to be very flexable. The windproof/waterproof liner is permanent so I was worried about not being able to wear them in warmer weather. Ive had them out in temps from 30 up to 70 with no complaint of being too cold or hot. I bought the Seesoft hip protectors to compliment the pants and feel better protected as a result. I wear a 34/32 in most jeans/pants. My first order was for the XL regular. They ended up riding too high in the crotch and were tight about halfway into the waist adjusters. I also felt that the knee armor rode a little too low even when I raised my leg up into a mock riding position(I should have actually gotten onto the bike with them). CS suggested that I go up to an XXL and short to raise the knee armor. The XXL waist and crotch ended up being perfect. Hindsight being 20/20 I should have stayed in a regular length. My knee armor fits pretty well in their lowest position but the pant now rides up to almost the top of my TCX S-R1 boots. The inside leg zippers work nice but are only on the outer layer and open like the front with the inner liner being a gaiter. This prevents taking them off with shoes on. Overall I am happy with these pants. They protect me from the cold and now I don't have to worry about how protective that my scrub bottoms aren't! March 24, 2015
The fit and cut is too weird. I bought the Medium-Short size of this pant. Am 5'7" 33x30 jean size. I am wearing these on a 6 week motorcycle trip, and I just can't bring myself to like them. The pockets don't unzip enough to comfortably get your hand in without scraping the zipper, and you'd never get in with a glove on (This is even standing up). The inseam and knee pads don't come up high enough, despite the pads being adjusted to their max height, If I fell with legs extended, the drag on the fabric would easily pull the pad below my knee, and it wouldn't be protected at all. Everything about it just sits wrong while on the bike and walking around. The Enterprise pant needs a belt or suspenders, as I'm always having to retighten the waist adjustment. March 23, 2015
Great product for the money I purchased these pants for a long fall trip I wanted something with a waterproof outer shell and these fit the bill 2 days of total down poor I was dry and comfrontable I have had these for about a 1 and 1/2 years from low thirties to about 65 after that it's just to hot it does everything except summer February 20, 2015
Great Overpant! First time I ever had riding pants, and it's a great first entry. The main thing I wanted was an over pant that is waterproof and had the most protection I can get. The pant does come with adjustable knee protection, and slots that will accommodate for hip protection: great addition! The pant are waterproof, but only does it leak around the crouch when you allow water to pool up in that area, but never has it leaked anywhere else! The only problem is length, I must have measured incorrectly, because when I go into a aggressive riding position, the cuff of the pant rises up to the middle of my shins. It doesn't bother me too much, because I always wear riding boots, but can be if I'm wear mid-top boots. I would say if you are going to wear these on a sports bike, better going a little longer. I've had these for almost a year of everyday commuting and 200 mile weekend trips, and it's still holding up! February 2, 2015
Good Protection, Limited Versatility These are great as over pants. I wanted some pants for commuting that I could wear my work clothes under without having to change clothes 2 times a day. I chose them because I wanted a wide range of protection including ce rated knee armor and hip armor (Sold separately). The connection zipper also gives you options for pairing with a huge number of other revit jackets (I have the outback to go with my pants). I got a small, and they're a bit big on me (slightly loose around the hips and an inch too long). I'm pretty skinny, 5' 7" usually wearing 31x32 pants. For your sizing reference. They're a great buy as long as you understand its limitations. The pant legs are wide, but not quite wide enough for me to get them on while I'm wearing my TCX boots (or even my casual sneakers for that matter, unless I want to spend thr next 2 minutes forcing it). While they're a bit long, they sit at the proper length once I'm on my bike. There are no vents, so I would classify them as more of a winter pant. Though you can probably extend them out into the early fall and early spring depending on where you live and your heat tolerance. I will not be wearing them in temperatures above 75 degrees in my area of central Alabama. As far as waterproofing goes, I do not ride in rain, so I cannot attest to that, but none of the pockets are truly waterproof and I would not trust them to keep my stuff dry in anything more than a light drizzle. As far as comfort goes, they're great. I sit in more of an upright position on my SV650 and I haven't noticed any discomfort in the placement of the armor.I replaced the stock form hip protection with the revit seesoft RV01 hip protector. Although I would not recommend anyone with these pants to do the same. The RV01 is not made for the Enterprise pant. I was able to force it into the pants with a bit of modification, but I recommend that you make sure the armor is compatible with your particular pant and avoid my mistake. At this price point, for the features I wanted in an entry level textile pant, I think they're a solid pant and a good buy. But on a separate note, these offer a rather basic level of abrasion resistance with only 600D Polyester. Depending on your safety tolerance, you may want to look into something made of a higher denier nylon or cordura. February 1, 2015
Not really good at any one thing... As commuter pants the gator(the one at the fly and on the legs) prevents them from being put on with boots on. As stand alone pants there is no perforated layer to allow your skin to breathe. I also have no idea why they went with only one cargo pocket... On the plus side, they do keep you dry in the rain and they're very competitively priced(especially for Rev'it) but there are other pants with more features for around the same price. Great quality product I'm 6' 180 lbs. Average build. The XL Tall fits PERFECT. Style and fabric quality are top notch. Knee and hip padding are perfect and set well when in the saddle. (I ride Triumph XC). Only problems are the lack of air flow. Anything over 70 will start to get warm as for an over pant. However, with nothing under neath, Im sure it will be warm but tolerable. Still very happy and would buy again. January 19, 2015
Good pants, a little small Great deal for the price. Hip pads are a bit thin and the fit is a little slimmer than I was expecting. Ventilation is non existent, but I wanted something for winter anyway. December 29, 2014

Howard D: They looked like a good pair to start with. I really liked the options. I've got a long torso and short legs. The short option was a great thought and incentive... Mar 25, 2015
P C: Great pants for winter or fall. Not a summer pant over 80 degrees. Plus, its not a true over-pant. However a great fit for 6 feet, 180 lbs, Mar 15, 2015

Michael T: Available in tall for better fit Jun 21, 2014
Alan H: Great choice for commuting. May 30, 2014
Ray R: I was looking for an in-between solution for street that offers slightly less than track-level protection (while avoiding over-engineered jeans). The knee pads are adjustable and hang low except when riding. The zippered legs can comfortably cover my Dainese TR Course Out boots, but the inner nylon liner does not allow for easily taking the over-pants on and off while wearing shoes or boots. The hip padding is great, but tends to make the pants run small on larger guys like myself. Apr 13, 2014
WILLIAM T: waterproof Mar 4, 2014
pierpaolo p: affordable, versatile Feb 26, 2014
David M: I bought some Revit summer gear and like it. I need some new over pants, so I'm sticking with Revit. I also like that there is tall sizing for lanky skinny guys. Feb 26, 2014

Alexander K: The came in a size that fit a short inseam. The looks aren't bad either. After I got them I wasn't crazy about them as they were still really loose fittting Jan 5, 2014
Paul B: I need a quality pair of overpants for my daily commute. After having 2 pairs of Tourmaster overpants fail due to cheap leg zippers, I'm hoping these Rev'it pants last longer. Dec 9, 2013
P H: Compatible with the Rev'it Outback all season jacket. Oct 15, 2013
Greg W: Recommended by Rev zilla staff, coming up SC winter daily commuter... Sep 25, 2013
Christopher P: Value for the money. Wearing my jeans underneath these over-pants will make the morning commute just that much more convenient. Adequate protection (tough textiles with built in armor) without the added cost of a set of full on leather pants. Aug 19, 2013
A shopper asked: Can these be worn with only underwear or a base layer instead of using them as overpants? Sep 9, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Mark D: The pants aren't traditional baggy overpants, but I had no trouble getting them over a pair of Levi's 511. If you aren't a professional power-squatter, they'll make great overpants, with the added bonus of actually keeping the armor on your knees. Unfotunately, the zips weren't big enough by a tiny bit for me to be able to put them on without taking my boots off, so if you are thinking about using them for community, because sure to try it with the boots your wear. Sep 18, 2013

Daniel D: You could use these as regular riding pants without jeans as they are nicely lined however the fit is loose to fit over jeans so your pant will slide around a bit possibly lessening the integrity of the armor. Also, you might want to go down a size if you do this. The strength of the outer fabric also might be less than you want without wearing jeans or pants underneath the pants. Sep 18, 2013

Roberto A: Probably with a pant base layer but I would get a smaller size (not sure how many sizes down you would need to go). There's a mesh lining inside so wearing it with shorts or just underwear may be irritating to the skin if you wear it long enough. I'm entertaining the idea myself, I just need to get a pant base layer. Hope this helps! Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Roberto Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Eddie J: The RevIt Enterprise Pants can be worn with just a base layer if need be in warmer weather. They're intended to be worn with regular pants underneath, so they may fit just a tad loose with only a base layer. I do not recommend wearing only a base layer in colder weather as this pant is only a shell and do not have a thermal layer. Sep 18, 2013

Jesse H: Yes you can do that and I have done that, though they are a bit big since they are supposed to be overpants so if you like things to fit snug this might not be the best bet. I have worn these plenty of times after a run or something like that and just threw them on over my underwear after changing at the gym. Sep 18, 2013

Tomas D: Yes you can. It depends on your ridding style. Give them a shot and try them at home on all posibilities. When I travel, I wear light hiking pants under so I can be ready to go right after my ride and relax. I also wear jeans under and find them ok. I ride sport touring. Good luck! Sep 18, 2013

Timothy B: Yes, I think they could, but they would probably be a little loose. These pants don't fit like a traditional overpaint and are comfortably snug when you are wearing jeans underneath. Also, I can verify by experience that they are definitely waterproof. Sep 18, 2013

John M: Yeah, I ride with just boxers on all the time. The waistband adjustment allows for underwear or jeans fit, at least for me it does. These are the best riding pants I have found yet and I've had a few. Sep 18, 2013

Shannon M: Sure you could, prob need to order a size smaller as they are roomy. These are a cooler weather pant, no venting so prob not something I'd wear on a hot day unless it was raining. Sep 19, 2013

Justin H: They are made to fit over your jeans. So if you are just wearing a base layer they will fit a bit loose but nothing drastic. They are lined if you are concerned about comfort. Sep 20, 2013

Joshua B: Sure, it's a very smooth feeling interior lining. I believe they are sized to go over regular pants though so you might want to err on the smaller size when you order. Sep 18, 2013

Gerardo D: I actually use them as regular pants, thru can surely be worn as normal pants. I ordered them XS, but I am usually S, so they are not loose if worn as regular pants. Sep 18, 2013

Daniel D: Yes the hip pad is removable, I found the pads very flimsy and not much protection. They fit in a pocket on the inside of the pants. I had a spare pair of aerostich pads that I cut to the dimensions of the old pads and use those instead. Pads are easy to take out. Dec 31, 2013

Pat S asked: I have the Rev'it aairwave pants that i use as my daily pants. If i get these to be an overpant should i get the same size as i did in the airwave or should i got up a size? Not sure if they made there sizes a little bigger for the purpose of fitting over pants. Thanks. May 12, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Tomas D: The Enterprise is designed to be an over pant so, it is a little bigger. However, I find that they fit well both as a ridding pant with a lite nylon (hiking style) pant, lite base layer underwear during winter, as well as with jeans under it. Try them on in a sitting position and with your preferred underpants. If you are not happy, they are pretty good about size exchange.

Good luck and be safe!

NICOLAS B: If you want these as overpants then get a size bigger as these fit a bit snuggly. I use them as overpants and they work great. keep in mind these do not ventilate at all so keep em for the colder months. May 13, 2014

Gerardo D: No, they do not have something of that sort. But i have never had any issue like such...i ride a 1200gs and work great. No ventilation at all, but great for 40-80 degrees. Oct 31, 2013

Trevor W asked: Do these have sliding protection or are they just waterproof overpants with armoring? Mar 5, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Streven M: What do you consider sliding protection? This does not have sliding pucks or race treatments. However they are certainly sturdy enough to protect your skin from abrasion at street legal speeds. The padding provided is adequate but not as good as the armor upgrades that are available.

In short, not for racing, just for riding.

A shopper asked: I'm looking for a pair of waterproof pants that will be suitable for rainy days on campus. Since I will be riding to and from classes as well as walking between, it is ideal to have a waterproof option that I can just leave on. Are these suitable for that? I know that sometimes when the waterproofing is in the liner the pants will still soak up enough water to make it a bad call for a lecture all, but some allow the water to just brush off.

Clifford M: The Enterprise pant is a great pan overall. They are not expensive, and they are very high quality. But... these pants have protective padding in the hips, and knees, and as a result, I find them somewhat uncomfortable to walk in.

Also, remember that the knee pads are contoured for your knees. So, when you're sitting on the bike, they conform to your knee perfectly, but when you stand up, and get off the bike, you've got a contoured knee pad sitting below the knee, in a somewhat uncomfortable position.

It probably takes 2 minutes to remove the knee pads, so it's possible to do this, and if you did, you would have a very comfortable pant.

The waterproofing is good, and these can be unzippered in a number of ways so that you can get a whole lot of air into the inside of the pants.

I can't say that I can compare these pants to a number of other pants, considering that this is the only pair that I've owned, but if you had to have a set of pants that could be used in the way that you're suggesting, these would work, but they are not ideal.

They may however be better than the other choices...

Streven M: These are OVER-pants... meaning your supposed to wear them over your regular clothes. They have armor in them to protect you.. trust me leave the armor in and wear jeans or something underneath. Only issue is that if you wear boots... and you should wear boots... you will be taking the boots on and off to get the pants on or off. Oct 22, 2013

Eric O asked: I'm new to riding, so sorry if this is a stupid question. But I was planning on getting a different jacket (Dainese Laguna EVO Perforated Leather) and I can only imagine that these pants wont zip into that jacket. Is that a big deal? Or is it fine to have a jacket and pants that don't zip together. Thanks! Jul 28, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Wayne M: For the most part it's not a big deal. I mix and match pants and Jackets according to riding conditions, and, even when possible, seldom zip them together. The answer can vary depending on the kind of riding, for high speed stuff a one piece or zipped together clothing offers some extra protection against a separate jacket riding up. Jul 29, 2014

Timothy B: Valid question. I wondered the same thing when I bought an Olympia Air Glide jacket to go with these pants. I figured they wouldn't match up, amazingly they did. Both had the same zipper pattern. They also zip into my BMG leather jacket. I don't know if all manufactures use standard zipper sizes, but at least a few do. Jul 29, 2014

Tomas D: It has one back zipper not an all around type. In my opinion, thats all you need. Even though, zipping your pants and jacket will increase safety, I think that you will find that unzipped is much more comfortable and will wear it more often.

I hope this shines a little light. Good luck my friend and be safe!

Sebastien G: These pants will definitely protect you if you go down. They're not track pants by any stretch of the imagination, though they're more than just some waterproof overpants. I use them on my commute to work and I feel that if I were to go down (knock on wood) at freeway speeds, <70mph, I'm willing to bet they'll protect fairly well. They'll probably be done afterwards, though the quality is as good as any quality textile jacket, like my A* T-GP Plus Air. Mar 11, 2015

Chris KStaff: Yes, the zippers are on both pant legs. They come up about 2/3rds of the way, so they are easier than most, but they are not full length up to the hip like some pants are. Try the REV'IT! Axis if you want the easiest solution to pull over boots. Aug 8, 2013

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
