Great pants but difficult to use as commuter
great pants, well made. I'm 5'6" and wear 32" x 30" Levi's and purchased the medium-short and the size is perfect as overpants. My only complaint is that there is no way to get these on/off over boots, but no big deal.

Good Protection, Limited Versatility
These are great as over pants. I wanted some pants for commuting that I could wear my work clothes under without having to change clothes 2 times a day. I chose them because I wanted a wide range of protection including ce rated knee armor and hip armor (Sold separately). The connection zipper also gives you options for pairing with a huge number of other revit jackets (I have the outback to go with my pants). I got a small, and they're a bit big on me (slightly loose around the hips and an inch too long). I'm pretty skinny, 5' 7" usually wearing 31x32 pants. For your sizing reference.
They're a great buy as long as you understand its limitations. The pant legs are wide, but not quite wide enough for me to get them on while I'm wearing my TCX boots (or even my casual sneakers for that matter, unless I want to spend thr next 2 minutes forcing it).
While they're a bit long, they sit at the proper length once I'm on my bike. There are no vents, so I would classify them as more of a winter pant. Though you can probably extend them out into the early fall and early spring depending on where you live and your heat tolerance. I will not be wearing them in temperatures above 75 degrees in my area of central Alabama.
As far as waterproofing goes, I do not ride in rain, so I cannot attest to that, but none of the pockets are truly waterproof and I would not trust them to keep my stuff dry in anything more than a light drizzle.
As far as comfort goes, they're great. I sit in more of an upright position on my SV650 and I haven't noticed any discomfort in the placement of the armor.I replaced the stock form hip protection with the revit seesoft RV01 hip protector. Although I would not recommend anyone with these pants to do the same. The RV01 is not made for the Enterprise pant. I was able to force it into the pants with a bit of modification, but I recommend that you make sure the armor is compatible with your particular pant and avoid my mistake.
At this price point, for the features I wanted in an entry level textile pant, I think they're a solid pant and a good buy. But on a separate note, these offer a rather basic level of abrasion resistance with only 600D Polyester. Depending on your safety tolerance, you may want to look into something made of a higher denier nylon or cordura.

Really good pants...as long as it's not warm out
I bought these pants for my commute as I have to wear slacks at work and was looking for some overpants.

The good: comfortable fit, not baggy, short sizes available, well made and looks like they would provide really good protection in a fall. Adjustable knee armor allows you to place it where it will help most.

The bad: they do not flow air. Not a surprise as they are water resistant. When it's over 75*, I don't wear pants underneath as it's just too hot. Even without pants, they still fit comfortably. Also, I occasionally will catch the Velcro enclosure on my foot peg when I bring my foot up from a stop. Not a big deal...so far...though it is slightly annoying when it happens.

I'll probably get a different pair of pants for summer riding, but if it doesn't get too warm in your neck of the woods, and you're looking for some over pants, give these a second look.

Mostly waterproof
First off, these run pretty true-to-size. Unfortunately, however, that means that they aren't sized as an over-pant. Thankfully I've been needing motivation to slim down so I guess these pants are going to be the final straw for me. Aside from being snug at the top, they are overall pretty comfortable. Durability seems a bit underwhelming so far because I've burned a small hole down near the bottom from standing at an intersection for a moment and having some of the loose cuff touching the exhaust. But, my fault I guess.

There's a lot of leftover material at the bottom of these pants and it bunches up after zipping the "boot flap" (more on that later) making it difficult to snug the bottom of the pants to help with waterproofing. As for the boot flaps, I've yet to be able to put my boots on and then slip these pants on. I'm wearing a TCX X-Rap in size 43 and they get stuck every time. I'd prefer the lower leg of these pants to not even have the flap and instead lose the extra material in favor of a slimmer profile at the bottom.

These are billed as being waterproof and for the most part that seems to be the case. Wore them in the rain recently and ended up dry with the exception of the cuffs of my jeans that were too close to the bottom. My commute is only 15 minutes and everything went fine but at the end of my work day (9 hours later) the knee and crotch areas of the pants actually felt a bit damp and my (dry) ride home left me with very slightly damp jeans in the above-mentioned areas. Not sure what was going on there, but since that was the only ride in the wet I can't be sure if I can avoid that issue next time.

Excellent pant
My first pair of riding pants. These pants do a great job of protecting you from wind and rain. I've ridden in temps down to the forties and my legs have remained comfortable. They zip into my Olympia Air Glide jacket with no problems. They fit over a pair of jeans easily but they do run a little slim. If you have a bit of a gut I would recommend buying a size up. I think they will be a little warm in the summer but if I go commando I will probably do OK.

Great overpant
I picked up a pair of these to wear when commuting and when the weather is cold and rainy. Since I didn't want two pairs over overpants, I decided to sacrifice airflow for something that would keep me warm and dry! My commute isn't long anyway.

These pants fit really well, though as typical with Rev'It they are european fit. I wear a size XL over 38" jeans, and that works just fine. They are quite comfortable as a second layer, and have good zipped pockets at the waist and a handy cargo pocket on the right leg. The armor is present but non-intrusive, and I feel a lot safer riding with these pants on when I'm not going someplace where it makes sense to wear my leathers.

The pants come with a back-zip which allows them to be hooked up to a jacket, and I've found that this zipper is cross-compatible with several other brands, so if you don't have a Rev'It jacket you may still be able to connect them. But even if you don't connect them, the pants come up quite high in the back so that you won't have plumber-butt action. Aside from protecting you from that, this feature also makes sure that you won't get wet if your jacket isn't touring length.

I can't say enough good things about these pants. I love 'em!

Great Pants
This fits quite large at least length wise. I am 5'10" 165 and had to exchange the medium pants for a small. The pants fits great over jeans or anything else that i wear. Also the waterproofing is quite good, having ridden through downpours without getting wet. when it comes to ventilation it does a good job. I have ridden in 80s weather and was fine with even though i was wearing jeans under these pants. would definitely recommend

Great Pant for the Price!
I'm not a small woman (yes I'm a woman who bought mans pants. I'll explain. Be patient.). I'm 5'6", 230lbs and you can't find woman's gear in my size. (Huge issue with that ... but I digress) When reviewing the product before buying I paid close attention to sizing, and what people said in the reviews, since finding gear for my size has been an issue. I have a white jacket and really wanted the white (which are more of a grey white, and are not snow white) pant to match. I measured, and measured again. Figured I needed a 5X, go to order, and they weren't available in white. Measured again and was close enough to the 4X that I went for it.

Arrival day came and I put them on. Yes they were a little tight over my jeans, but was able to zip them up. I put them on over some leggings and they were a little more comfortable. It is very important to pay attention to the sizing on these.

Ignore the size... go by measurements.

I've been wearing them for a couple weeks now and I have to say I LOVE these pants. They are comfortable, keep me dry in the rain, and warm on the cold mornings. I wore them on a 35 degree morning with just my pepper skins under and they still kept me warm.

There is only one thing I wish different on the pants. I wish the larger size came in a short length. They are just a little too long so they bunch up a little at the ankles and I've caught the inside zipper flap a few times on the foot pegs.

Long story short. Great pant. Watch sizing carefully, and I will be purchasing them again in a smaller size when I lose more weight. (Already down 80lbs.)

Great Pants
Bought these as a companion for my Outback jacket and the pants work as advertised. Have kept me warm down into the 30s and dry when I got caught in a rainstorm during my commute. The one thing that keeps these from being perfect is that the leg opening is not large enough to slips these pants on over boots....no way to do it. Not a big deal for me, I just had to change my getting dressed routine:) Still this is a miss for RevIt as almost all other over pants offer this feature.

I was looking for an in-between solution for street that offers slightly less than track-level protection (while avoiding over-engineered jeans). The knee pads are adjustable and hang low except when riding. The zippered legs can comfortably cover my Dainese TR Course Out boots, but the inner nylon liner does not allow for easily taking the over-pants on and off while wearing shoes or boots. The hip padding is great, but tends to make the pants run small on larger guys like myself.

I bought some Revit summer gear and like it. I need some new over pants, so I'm sticking with Revit. I also like that there is tall sizing for lanky skinny guys.

I bought the black version of these locally and the fit amazing. So I bought the Black/White version from Revzilla. Totally the best over pant I've owned.

The came in a size that fit a short inseam. The looks aren't bad either. After I got them I wasn't crazy about them as they were still really loose fittting

I need a quality pair of overpants for my daily commute. After having 2 pairs of Tourmaster overpants fail due to cheap leg zippers, I'm hoping these Rev'it pants last longer.

Can these be worn with only underwear or a base layer instead of using them as overpants?
A shopper on Sep 9, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The pants aren't traditional baggy overpants, but I had no trouble getting them over a pair of Levi's 511. If you aren't a professional power-squatter, they'll make great overpants, with the added bonus of actually keeping the armor on your knees. Unfotunately, the zips weren't big enough by a tiny bit for me to be able to put them on without taking my boots off, so if you are thinking about using them for community, because sure to try it with the boots your wear.
Do these have sliding protection or are they just waterproof overpants with armoring?
Trevor W on Mar 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Just over pants with armor at knees and hips
I'm new to riding, so sorry if this is a stupid question. But I was planning on getting a different jacket (Dainese Laguna EVO Perforated Leather) and I can only imagine that these pants wont zip into that jacket. Is that a big deal? Or is it fine to have a jacket and pants that don't zip together. Thanks!
Eric O on Jul 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: For the most part it's not a big deal. I mix and match pants and Jackets according to riding conditions, and, even when possible, seldom zip them together. The answer can vary depending on the kind of riding, for high speed stuff a one piece or zipped together clothing offers some extra protection against a separate jacket riding up.
Is the hip padding removable?
saintjon on Dec 31, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The foam hip pads are removable. They're in pockets within the lining with a velcro closure.
Are the inner leg zippers 2-way so you can open them from to top for some venting?
A shopper on Aug 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They are great pants. No the zippers are not 2 way
I have the Rev'it aairwave pants that i use as my daily pants. If i get these to be an overpant should i get the same size as i did in the airwave or should i got up a size? Not sure if they made there sizes a little bigger for the purpose of fitting over pants. Thanks.
Pat S on May 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Enterprise is designed to be an over pant so, it is a little bigger. However, I find that they fit well both as a ridding pant with a lite nylon (hiking style) pant, lite base layer underwear during winter, as well as with jeans under it. Try them on in a sitting position and with your preferred underpants. If you are not happy, they are pretty good about size exchange.

Good luck and be safe!

Do these have a heat-resistant material on the inner calf where legs might touch the exhaust pipes?
Peter L on Oct 31, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No, they do not have something of that sort. But i have never had any issue like such...i ride a 1200gs and work great. No ventilation at all, but great for 40-80 degrees.
I really love that this overpant offers CE knee and hip armor (sold separately) but I'm worried about the heat it will trap. Will these pants be bearable to wear in southern FL?
A shopper on Feb 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Definitely not once the temperature gets warmer. These pants have no vents and are not permeable to wind or moisture. I wear them as a winter pant, and I cannot bear to keep them on once the temperature gets above 75 degrees.
I'm looking for a pair of waterproof pants that will be suitable for rainy days on campus. Since I will be riding to and from classes as well as walking between, it is ideal to have a waterproof option that I can just leave on. Are these suitable for that? I know that sometimes when the waterproofing is in the liner the pants will still soak up enough water to make it a bad call for a lecture all, but some allow the water to just brush off.

Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: The Enterprise pant is a great pan overall. They are not expensive, and they are very high quality. But... these pants have protective padding in the hips, and knees, and as a result, I find them somewhat uncomfortable to walk in.

Also, remember that the knee pads are contoured for your knees. So, when you're sitting on the bike, they conform to your knee perfectly, but when you stand up, and get off the bike, you've got a contoured knee pad sitting below the knee, in a somewhat uncomfortable position.

It probably takes 2 minutes to remove the knee pads, so it's possible to do this, and if you did, you would have a very comfortable pant.

The waterproofing is good, and these can be unzippered in a number of ways so that you can get a whole lot of air into the inside of the pants.

I can't say that I can compare these pants to a number of other pants, considering that this is the only pair that I've owned, but if you had to have a set of pants that could be used in the way that you're suggesting, these would work, but they are not ideal.

They may however be better than the other choices...
Hey guys,
Quick question.
I'm 5'8 and my normal jeans size is 36, should I go for size L or since it's overpants, go for size XL?

Cheers for the help
A shopper on Jun 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I am 6' with a 34-36 inch waist. I got a large and they fit fine, the pant legs run a bit long, so you would be swimming in the XL's I think.
