REV'IT! Enterprise Pants

The REVIT Enterprise overpants are one of the most versatile products in the REV’IT! range. These water-resistant over-trousers don’t come with a thermal liner, but instead are designed to be worn over regular street clothes. Thanks to the easy-entrance zipper they can be easily slipped on over boots. They feature two generous pockets, laminated reflection and CE-approved armor at the knees. The Enterprise trousers are the perfect complement to a number of matching REV’IT! jackets.

  • Outer Shell: Polyester 600D, polyester rib, wax polyester 600D

REV'IT! Enterprise Pants 4.2 5 77 77
Great pants but difficult to use as commuter great pants, well made. I'm 5'6" and wear 32" x 30" Levi's and purchased the medium-short and the size is perfect as overpants. My only complaint is that there is no way to get these on/off over boots, but no big deal. November 23, 2015
Great lines, comfortable, and practical I'm a commuter and weekend rider in most weather. These pants are perfect for my daily commute. The real differentiation here is the hip protection. So many otherwise great pants do not offer this. These do, at a decent price and in an easy on/off format. They look great and don't make you feel like you are wearing big snow pants. Tip: having shoes that are easy on/off (zippered boots) work best with these as getting your shoes through the narrow legs isn't all that easy. November 23, 2015
These pants work as advertised Great overpants, like the adjustable knee pads, comfortable and easy to slip on over clothing. They keep the wind out and I feel warm in them down to 45". They are a little slippery on the seat, but they are waterproof. A good product for the price. November 9, 2015
Solid Fall, Winter, Spring Pant for protection Definitely a solid pair of riding pants. I bought these mainly for protection for the cold. Definitely suits the need as an overpant I've worn them down to 35 degrees so far and was nice and warm with regular jeans underneath. That being said definitely not for the warm season because they do not breathe well. These pants are definitely for anywhere from 30 to 65 for comfortable over pants. You'll definitely be sweating for anything over 75 degrees. Warning other than the large pocket on the right side the pockets on the hips are worthless and if anything non flexible is placed in them it makes for a very uncomfortable ride. Also when not in riding position the knee pads feel very very awkward. November 3, 2015
Mostly waterproof First off, these run pretty true-to-size. Unfortunately, however, that means that they aren't sized as an over-pant. Thankfully I've been needing motivation to slim down so I guess these pants are going to be the final straw for me. Aside from being snug at the top, they are overall pretty comfortable. Durability seems a bit underwhelming so far because I've burned a small hole down near the bottom from standing at an intersection for a moment and having some of the loose cuff touching the exhaust. But, my fault I guess. There's a lot of leftover material at the bottom of these pants and it bunches up after zipping the "boot flap" (more on that later) making it difficult to snug the bottom of the pants to help with waterproofing. As for the boot flaps, I've yet to be able to put my boots on and then slip these pants on. I'm wearing a TCX X-Rap in size 43 and they get stuck every time. I'd prefer the lower leg of these pants to not even have the flap and instead lose the extra material in favor of a slimmer profile at the bottom. These are billed as being waterproof and for the most part that seems to be the case. Wore them in the rain recently and ended up dry with the exception of the cuffs of my jeans that were too close to the bottom. My commute is only 15 minutes and everything went fine but at the end of my work day (9 hours later) the knee and crotch areas of the pants actually felt a bit damp and my (dry) ride home left me with very slightly damp jeans in the above-mentioned areas. Not sure what was going on there, but since that was the only ride in the wet I can't be sure if I can avoid that issue next time. October 8, 2015
90 Days Later - REV'IT! Enterprise Pants I commute every day and I have to say that so far, these pants are holding up well. 1) The fit is way better than I expected (I'm 5'8"/175lbs) and I wear them over my work clothes. But they are just as comfortable over sliders. 2) I really like to big burley zippers. I ride between 250 - 300 days a year, and this is one thing that always seems to go out first on my gear. These zippers look and feel tough. 3) The material is rugged and so far no sign of frayed or loose threads. 4) The thigh pocket is a nice extra, perfect for stowing away sunglasses when the sun goes down. So far, I'm extremely pleased with these pants October 5, 2015
Watch your boots. These pants are good, but they run small. I sized up, and they still strain to adequately contain my thunder. My biggest gripe though is that I think the leg zips should come up higher. I have a tough time getting big boots past the knee armor. They always get stuck, making what should be a 30 second process, into a few minutes of fumbling. My boots have big lug soles, so they may work better with more slim-lined footwear. The pants look good though; the cut is trim, and I don't feel like an astronaut walking into the office. They also seem to offer good protection and the armor sits right where it should. Commuting during these early fall days, the pants are plenty warm on cool mornings (50s), but can get a little clammy on the evening ride home when it's warmer (70s). I haven't had them on in the rain, but they seem like they would do a good job keeping the water out. October 5, 2015
Great commuter and long distant pant!! I purchased these for our lovely weather changes in the Pacific Northwest. Durability is off the roof with these. You can count on these being in your closet for years. Had to exchange for a different size, and without a hitch as usual RevZilla!! Fit over jeans, and even riding pants. The built in CE protection is great for a outer pant. If you wear more protective pants, simply remove it and the fit is excellent. Great product, quality from manufacture, and service!! Alan H: Great choice for commuting. May 30, 2014
Ray R: I was looking for an in-between solution for street that offers slightly less than track-level protection (while avoiding over-engineered jeans). The knee pads are adjustable and hang low except when riding. The zippered legs can comfortably cover my Dainese TR Course Out boots, but the inner nylon liner does not allow for easily taking the over-pants on and off while wearing shoes or boots. The hip padding is great, but tends to make the pants run small on larger guys like myself. Apr 13, 2014
WILLIAM T: waterproof Mar 4, 2014
pierpaolo p: affordable, versatile Feb 26, 2014

Paul B: I need a quality pair of overpants for my daily commute. After having 2 pairs of Tourmaster overpants fail due to cheap leg zippers, I'm hoping these Rev'it pants last longer. Dec 9, 2013
P H: Compatible with the Rev'it Outback all season jacket. Oct 15, 2013
Greg W: Recommended by Rev zilla staff, coming up SC winter daily commuter... Sep 25, 2013
Christopher P: Value for the money. Wearing my jeans underneath these over-pants will make the morning commute just that much more convenient. Adequate protection (tough textiles with built in armor) without the added cost of a set of full on leather pants. Aug 19, 2013
A shopper asked: Can these be worn with only underwear or a base layer instead of using them as overpants? Sep 9, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Mark D: The pants aren't traditional baggy overpants, but I had no trouble getting them over a pair of Levi's 511. If you aren't a professional power-squatter, they'll make great overpants, with the added bonus of actually keeping the armor on your knees. Unfotunately, the zips weren't big enough by a tiny bit for me to be able to put them on without taking my boots off, so if you are thinking about using them for community, because sure to try it with the boots your wear. Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Mark Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Daniel D: You could use these as regular riding pants without jeans as they are nicely lined however the fit is loose to fit over jeans so your pant will slide around a bit possibly lessening the integrity of the armor. Also, you might want to go down a size if you do this. The strength of the outer fabric also might be less than you want without wearing jeans or pants underneath the pants. Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Daniel Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Roberto A: Probably with a pant base layer but I would get a smaller size (not sure how many sizes down you would need to go). There's a mesh lining inside so wearing it with shorts or just underwear may be irritating to the skin if you wear it long enough. I'm entertaining the idea myself, I just need to get a pant base layer. Hope this helps! Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Roberto Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Eddie J: The RevIt Enterprise Pants can be worn with just a base layer if need be in warmer weather. They're intended to be worn with regular pants underneath, so they may fit just a tad loose with only a base layer. I do not recommend wearing only a base layer in colder weather as this pant is only a shell and do not have a thermal layer. Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Eddie Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Jesse H: Yes you can do that and I have done that, though they are a bit big since they are supposed to be overpants so if you like things to fit snug this might not be the best bet. I have worn these plenty of times after a run or something like that and just threw them on over my underwear after changing at the gym. Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Jesse Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Tomas D: Yes you can. It depends on your ridding style. Give them a shot and try them at home on all posibilities. When I travel, I wear light hiking pants under so I can be ready to go right after my ride and relax. I also wear jeans under and find them ok. I ride sport touring. Good luck! Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Tomas Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Timothy B: Yes, I think they could, but they would probably be a little loose. These pants don't fit like a traditional overpaint and are comfortably snug when you are wearing jeans underneath. Also, I can verify by experience that they are definitely waterproof. Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Timothy Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
John M: Yeah, I ride with just boxers on all the time. The waistband adjustment allows for underwear or jeans fit, at least for me it does. These are the best riding pants I have found yet and I've had a few. Sep 18, 2013
Reply to John Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Shannon M: Sure you could, prob need to order a size smaller as they are roomy. These are a cooler weather pant, no venting so prob not something I'd wear on a hot day unless it was raining. Sep 19, 2013
Reply to Shannon Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Justin H: They are made to fit over your jeans. So if you are just wearing a base layer they will fit a bit loose but nothing drastic. They are lined if you are concerned about comfort. Sep 20, 2013
Reply to Justin Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Joshua B: Sure, it's a very smooth feeling interior lining. I believe they are sized to go over regular pants though so you might want to err on the smaller size when you order. Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Joshua Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Gerardo D: I actually use them as regular pants, thru can surely be worn as normal pants. I ordered them XS, but I am usually S, so they are not loose if worn as regular pants. Sep 18, 2013
Reply to Gerardo Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Aaron B: That's how I am using them currently. As it gets colder I will start wearing my long johns with them. Sep 19, 2013

Trevor W asked: Do these have sliding protection or are they just waterproof overpants with armoring? Mar 5, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Streven M: What do you consider sliding protection? This does not have sliding pucks or race treatments. However they are certainly sturdy enough to protect your skin from abrasion at street legal speeds. The padding provided is adequate but not as good as the armor upgrades that are available.

In short, not for racing, just for riding.

Christopher D: They are definitely thicker than just 'waterproof overpants', and pretty durable. There is extra protection at the knees. For something that goes over pants, I love them and feel much safer using them. Mar 5, 2015

Daniel D: Just over pants with armor at knees and hips

Eric O asked: I'm new to riding, so sorry if this is a stupid question. But I was planning on getting a different jacket (Dainese Laguna EVO Perforated Leather) and I can only imagine that these pants wont zip into that jacket. Is that a big deal? Or is it fine to have a jacket and pants that don't zip together. Thanks! Jul 28, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Wayne M: For the most part it's not a big deal. I mix and match pants and Jackets according to riding conditions, and, even when possible, seldom zip them together. The answer can vary depending on the kind of riding, for high speed stuff a one piece or zipped together clothing offers some extra protection against a separate jacket riding up. Jul 29, 2014
Reply to Wayne Good answer? Yes (2) No (0)
Timothy B: Valid question. I wondered the same thing when I bought an Olympia Air Glide jacket to go with these pants. I figured they wouldn't match up, amazingly they did. Both had the same zipper pattern. They also zip into my BMG leather jacket. I don't know if all manufactures use standard zipper sizes, but at least a few do. Jul 29, 2014

Jon S asked: Is the hip padding removable? Dec 31, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Eddie J: The foam hip pads are removable. They're in pockets within the lining with a velcro closure. Dec 31, 2013
Reply to Eddie Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Tom B: Yes, all the padding is removable. The knee padding is adjustable.. Dec 31, 2013
Reply to Tom Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Daniel D: Yes the hip pad is removable, I found the pads very flimsy and not much protection. They fit in a pocket on the inside of the pants. I had a spare pair of aerostich pads that I cut to the dimensions of the old pads and use those instead. Pads are easy to take out. Dec 31, 2013

Kyle T: Yes. And I love these pants! They look great, and work great. I rode in pouring rain and 40o weather and stayed warm and dry. Jan 1, 2014

Jon S: Yes, but it is a funky shape. The foam pad measures 9" X 6.5" with a notch on the front side so it can bend when you sit. Dec 31, 2013

Aaron B: Yes, it is. The padding is also so thin, I didn't realize it had it until you asked! Dec 31, 2013

Wayne M: Yes. The pads are in pockets that are closed with hook and loop fasteners. Jan 2, 2014

Pat S asked: I have the Rev'it aairwave pants that i use as my daily pants. If i get these to be an overpant should i get the same size as i did in the airwave or should i got up a size? Not sure if they made there sizes a little bigger for the purpose of fitting over pants. Thanks. May 12, 2014

Tomas D: The Enterprise is designed to be an over pant so, it is a little bigger. However, I find that they fit well both as a ridding pant with a lite nylon (hiking style) pant, lite base layer underwear during winter, as well as with jeans under it. Try them on in a sitting position and with your preferred underpants. If you are not happy, they are pretty good about size exchange.

Good luck and be safe!

NICOLAS B: If you want these as overpants then get a size bigger as these fit a bit snuggly. I use them as overpants and they work great. keep in mind these do not ventilate at all so keep em for the colder months. May 13, 2014

David M: I also have both pants. I bought the same size as my AirWaves (L) and had to return these for XL. Even at that, I find them a little snug with a pair of jeans underneath. May 12, 2014

Ryan S: I would get the same size. The pants were sized to be over pants. May 12, 2014

Peter L asked: Do these have a heat-resistant material on the inner calf where legs might touch the exhaust pipes? Oct 31, 2013

Gerardo D: No, they do not have something of that sort. But i have never had any issue like such...i ride a 1200gs and work great. No ventilation at all, but great for 40-80 degrees. Oct 31, 2013

Qantas first officer mark J: Hi Peter, I do't think there s anything specially for heat resistence. However, the pant are fantasticin every way and I would highly reccommend them.

A shopper asked: I really love that this overpant offers CE knee and hip armor (sold separately) but I'm worried about the heat it will trap. Will these pants be bearable to wear in southern FL? Feb 1, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Eric H: Definitely not once the temperature gets warmer. These pants have no vents and are not permeable to wind or moisture. I wear them as a winter pant, and I cannot bear to keep them on once the temperature gets above 75 degrees. Feb 1, 2015

jeff w: I would go with the Airwaves, I live in NC and I wore my airwaves in the 50's no problem. Also they are easier to put on. I use these as winter pants up here. Feb 17, 2015

Rafael P: The do get quite hot in the summer. I live in PA and use them to commute. In summer my jeans get wet after 20-25 min ride on a 85-90 degree weather. Feb 1, 2015

A shopper asked: I'm looking for a pair of waterproof pants that will be suitable for rainy days on campus. Since I will be riding to and from classes as well as walking between, it is ideal to have a waterproof option that I can just leave on. Are these suitable for that? I know that sometimes when the waterproofing is in the liner the pants will still soak up enough water to make it a bad call for a lecture all, but some allow the water to just brush off.

Clifford M: The Enterprise pant is a great pan overall. They are not expensive, and they are very high quality. But... these pants have protective padding in the hips, and knees, and as a result, I find them somewhat uncomfortable to walk in.

Also, remember that the knee pads are contoured for your knees. So, when you're sitting on the bike, they conform to your knee perfectly, but when you stand up, and get off the bike, you've got a contoured knee pad sitting below the knee, in a somewhat uncomfortable position.

It probably takes 2 minutes to remove the knee pads, so it's possible to do this, and if you did, you would have a very comfortable pant.

The waterproofing is good, and these can be unzippered in a number of ways so that you can get a whole lot of air into the inside of the pants.

I can't say that I can compare these pants to a number of other pants, considering that this is the only pair that I've owned, but if you had to have a set of pants that could be used in the way that you're suggesting, these would work, but they are not ideal.

They may however be better than the other choices...

Streven M: These are OVER-pants... meaning your supposed to wear them over your regular clothes. They have armor in them to protect you.. trust me leave the armor in and wear jeans or something underneath. Only issue is that if you wear boots... and you should wear boots... you will be taking the boots on and off to get the pants on or off. Oct 22, 2013

Jonathan T: They don't soak up the water, but they are a bit bulky to wear around college classrooms.

A shopper asked: Hey guys,
Quick question.
I'm 5'8 and my normal jeans size is 36, should I go for size L or since it's overpants, go for size XL?

Cheers for the help

Daniel D: I am 6' with a 34-36 inch waist. I got a large and they fit fine, the pant legs run a bit long, so you would be swimming in the XL's I think. Jun 17, 2015

Stanford G: Go with the L. I'm also a 36 waist and 5'10". Plenty of room to put on over pants. and there are adjusters on the hips. Aug 6, 2015

A shopper asked: Will the Enterprise Pants zip into the Rev'IT Legacy GTX jacket? Feb 17, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Tomas D: It has one back zipper not an all around type. In my opinion, thats all you need. Even though, zipping your pants and jacket will increase safety, I think that you will find that unzipped is much more comfortable and will wear it more often.

I hope this shines a little light. Good luck my friend and be safe!

A shopper asked: Is he Enterprise pants back zipper compatible with a Joe Rocket Phoenix Jacket? Oct 24, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Nicholas L: I doubt it will work with your Joe Rocket Phoenix jacket. I have a different Joe Rocket jacket, it has a compatible zipper, but it's going in the opposite direction of the Enterprise pants zipper, so it doesn't work. Oct 24, 2013

A shopper asked: Do these pants actually have slide protection or are they simply a waterproof overpant with guards in them? Mar 5, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Sebastien G: These pants will definitely protect you if you go down. They're not track pants by any stretch of the imagination, though they're more than just some waterproof overpants. I use them on my commute to work and I feel that if I were to go down (knock on wood) at freeway speeds, <70mph, I'm willing to bet they'll protect fairly well. They'll probably be done afterwards, though the quality is as good as any quality textile jacket, like my A* T-GP Plus Air. Mar 11, 2015

Charles F asked: Does this have zippers on both legs? Its hard to tell from the photo's. Also, do they go up high enough to pull on over motorcycle boots? Aug 8, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Chris KStaff: Yes, the zippers are on both pant legs. They come up about 2/3rds of the way, so they are easier than most, but they are not full length up to the hip like some pants are. Try the REV'IT! Axis if you want the easiest solution to pull over boots. Aug 8, 2013
