Perfect upgrade from factory standard stock
I am very pleased with the PUIG windscreen. I ride my Super Tenere Adv bike mostly on the highway and needed extra wind protection for the higher highway speeds. I replaced the OEM factory tall screen with the PUIG because even the OEM factory tall was insufficient wind protection. Also the OEM factory tall screen looked totally different from the standard that came on the bike and simply did not compliment the looks of the bike. The PUIG screen was made to look very similar to the OEM factory standard and looks great on the bike. The PUIG screen out performs both the OEM factory standard and tall screens as well as other brands of screens that I have tried and returned due to poor performance, ill fit or simply not looking good on the bike. In summary the PUIG screens' performance is superior and it looks as if it were made in the image of the OEM factory standard but with improvements. A little more expensive than some but well worth the extra cost. I will definitely purchase another PUIG if this one is ever damaged and I would recommend it to anyone with a Super Tenere who likes the looks of the OEM factory standard screen but needs more wind protection for the highway.

Certainly Better Than Stock
Strong, easy to install and durable. A nice height in that it's taller than the stock shield, but lower than the Yamaha touring screen. The stock hand guards DO slightly touch the screen when the handlebars are fully turned, but not enough to be a problem. Nice clean lines, too.

A shopper asked:What are the dimensions of this screen? how does it compare to the Yamaha factory tall screen? I already have the factory tall screen but it doesn't quite get the job done at highway speeds and doesnt look as good as the factory standard screen which I aslo have. Do you have a trade in program :) The PUIG screen looks like the factory standard screen but I wonder if it is any better or functional than the factory tall screen.Feb 20, 2014
A shopper asked:I have a 2013 Yamaha Super Tenere. I am 6 feet tall and I have the factory tall windscreen and would like to know how the PUIG compares to Yamaha's factory tall screen. What are the dimensions of the PUIG screen heighth? width? I sure do like the looks of the PUIG because it looks similar to the standard factory screen that originally came on the bike and looked better than the tall but didn't get the job done when it came to wind protection. That said, I would prefer and need more wind protection than the factory tall screen provides and would prefer something that looks better on the bike but I don't want one that is so tall that I have to look through it all the time or so wide that it interferes with the mirrors. I am trying to get as much info as possible on this csreen because I am tired of purchasing screens that don't fit me or the bike or just don't look good on the bike as well as don't work like they are said to. All available info would be appreciated. Bryon TFeb 19, 2014
Umar A:It will not be a supper wind breaker. But surely felt the diff from smaller one (stock).
Less chest wind
Arms shoulders will still feel the wind
I started hearing noise after couple of long rides.
Gives room for lower head position for quick sprint.
And if you lower your helmet behind screen or just to level. You don't feel wind. Lame but ...
