Puig Touring Windscreen Ducati Multistrada 1200 2010-2012

For long distance rides, PUIG introduces the Touring series to minimize wind-blast. These screens raise the wind-blast several centimeters allowing a more comfortable position. Most screens feature a shaded part on the lower section of the screen if cover cables behind the speedometer.

Dimensions: 57cm H x 33cm W. 6.5cm taller than OEM windscreen.

Note: Not recommended for 2013 Multistrada models.

An improvement over the OEM screen.
The Puig Touring Windscreen reduces the wind blast and more importantly the noise from turbulence better than the stock Ducati screen. It's taller and wider profile adds coverage and a minimal reduction in noise at the the lowest setting. In the top setting, noise is substantially reduced. Now I can use lower restriction 20NR ear plugs, allowing me to hear music from my Sena headset while still protecting my hearing. Before I had to choose between adequate ear protection or hearing the music. Good product. Well made and installed like the stock screen. Material is as thick as stock screen but more flexible. Probably not as hard of material.

Pretty good.
Mine went on a Ducati Multistrada. I'm 6'1, but I'm tall in the torso, short in the legs...30" inseam. Super easy to instal. Packaging was excellent. Little flimsily compared to the stock screen. It looks great, have had several complements on it so that test was a pass. The fact is that it didn't change the wind on my helmet... which is what I was looking for. However it did change the wind on my chest. Less wind hitting me on the side of my chest = warmer rides in the morning. All said it's still a great product and I would recommend this product to others.

Good product but I need more protection
I live in the great white north and we have many cold riding days. Because of that I prefer more protection than this offers. I am 5'9" and I found it to work well in that I didn't get any buffeting from it but because it is narrow you will get hit in the shoulders with air flow. Buying windshields is tough because it comes down to personal choice. I still recommend this product if you would like some protection but still get good airflow. I also think the product is well put together and looks good on the bike.

Does the Puig screen for Multistrada 1200 include the fitting bolts (x3)?

BEST ANSWER: For what it's worth the Puig Touring Windscreen for my Yamaha FZ-1 did not come with any fitting bolts. I used the stock ones though and the holes lined up great.
