Excellent upgrade for the shorter rider
I am 5'10" tall with a 32 inch inseam, just to give you an idea of my dimensions. Given my size this windshield was not sufficient to keep the wind off of the top of my helmet. It would probably work very well for a rider under 5'8" tall. I ended up having to go to a deflector mounted on top of the windshield in order to get more protection from the wind. Given the additional cost of that deflector it made it the Puig windshield somewhat of a poor value.

Generates terrible wind turbulence into your helmet
It generates terrible wind turbulence into your helmet. It does block chest winds completely, but at the cost of completely annoying helmet slapping turbulence. Do not buy without the Puig Clip-On Windscreen Visor. With the extended visor it is comfortably usable.

Much better than stock
It was a toss up between this windscreen and the tall Honda windscreen. I'm glad I went this route. I got the smoke which looks good on the bike.
I'm 6'0 with a 32" inseam. This windscreen does a great job moving the airflow over me, or at least mostly. With the stock screen, I was catching the wind in my upper chest and making it uncomfortable on my helmet if the headwind was a little off center. That problem seems to have been resolved. As the weather has not the best for long rides, I am looking forward to an extended test later this year.

Good product depends on your height.
I installed this on my 2015 NC700X. It causes a lot of wind turbulence around your head. I am 69" tall and I hand to install the additional Puig windscreen. That did fix the problem But if I could do it again, I would have spent my money on a better windscreen to start with. If you are 65" or shorter, it is fine.

I am very happy with my new Windscreen.
I just installed this new windscreen in my Honda and I am very happy with it. I was concern about the impact of a bigger windscreen on the motorcycle aesthetic, but it looks great and the performance improved respect to original one

Great screen at a great price
I commute 60 miles one way every day to work and the OEM screen was a bit on the short side. The Puig screen looks like factory equipment, installed easily, and provides much better wind protection. I currently have it mounted in the low position but will probably move it to the higher position to see if a bit more airflow under the bottom of the screen works better in the summer heat. I am quite pleased with the purchase.

this shield does its job
I've been riding behind a full faring for several years... so when i bought my new Honda NC 700X...the first ride reacquainted me with wind issues I had forgotten.
The Puig touring wind screen is a huge improvement over the original wind screen. It is taller by about 5 inches, has a slight flip on the top, and deflectes the wind nicely over my helmet. I'm 5'10" tall and it works just right.
I chose the dark shade, and was surprised by its darkness, but it looks nice with my black bike There isnt any problem with looking through the shield, as it much lower than the line of sight.
Instllation was a snap, fit and finnish excellent, and shipment was really fast...

Excellent Wind Screen
Bought this wind screen to replace the stock wind screen on my Honda NC700x for the colder riding season. It works great with little to no turbulence in the helmet area. It wa really easy to install and seems sturdy. This is a good product.

Great touring windshield
Reduces wind impact on my NC700x considerably. Easy installation. Durable. If you are tall you will probably need to purchase the clip on windscreen visor as well or you will end up with wind deflected directly into your visor.

I chose this item based on user reviews, ease of installation and, of course, because of the price being better than Honda. Also free shipping and no sales tax is always nice.

Questions and answers all over the map on different bikes. I'm looking for fitment on the Honda NC700x. Tell me about clearance issues, if any, for the front brake master cyclinder with the bars full left. The stock fly screen only allows about an extra 1 1/2 inches or so with my controls set to my posture. It would be nice to know the full width of this touring screen at the cut out. Is this baby really going to fitwithout a lot of fuss?
A shopper on Nov 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I have the Puig windscreen on my 2014 NC700XD. The handlebars are stock, in the stock position. I do not have handguards (yet). The cutouts on the windscreen sides are such that they just clear the bars and control. I'm not sure these measurements will help, but the top of the wide section of the Puig (where it starts to cut inward, is 15-1/2" The narrow section just above the cut in is 10-1/4" Both measurements are point to point (not the circumference of the curve) on the back side of the screen.

I don't have a clutch master cylinder - it's a DCT - no clutch handle. The brake reservoir just barely clears the Puig when steering is at the full lock. There is considerable clearance on the right -enough for a clutch cylinder/reservoir.

By my estimate, if you have raised the bars for your rising position, you might have a clearance issue. If you raise them, you should not.

I like the Puig screen. Installation matches up exactly, and took about five minutes. I am 5-10-1/2, and without a big crosswind, it keeps most of my helmet out of the air stream. I -might- add a deflector to the top some day, for long rides. Or not.
will this fit a 2015 honda nc 750 x ?

Hi All. Down here in NZ I have a Honda NC700S. Does the PUIG touring windscreen designated for the Honda NC700X have the same fitment as for the NC700S?
A C on Mar 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It looks like the windscreen bolt pattern on the S is different than the X. If you google "NC700S puig touring screen" it looks like they make a different model for your bike (not sure if revzilla carries it though)
I'm having a hard time finding out how this windscreen works with handguards. It seems to me that they would be banging into each other at less than full turns. Does anyone have any issues with the Puig and handguards?
RisingS0N on May 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Chris, I do not have hand guards so I can not tell you for sure. If you want to measure from the back of your hand guards to the back of the handlebars (total width of both combined) and what ever other measurements you think I need. I can let you know what I think. Revzilla does have a good return policy though. The windscreen itself is a fantastic product and really helped me cut down on air turbulence.
