National Cycle VStream Tall Touring Windscreen Suzuki V-Strom DL650 / DL1000

Riders of the Suzuki® DL1000 and DL650 V-Strom® are sure to love the advantages offered by National Cycle's new VStream® windscreen. Designed specifically for the V-Strom, the VStream windshield dramatically reduces the wind noise and buffeting experienced with the stock windscreen on both models, enabling longer rides in much greater comfort for riders of virtually any height.

The unique, patented "V" shape of the VStream windscreen, coupled with its greater height and width, pushes the wind vortex out and away from the rider's head, resulting in a peaceful, quiet riding environment. The passenger's comfort is improved as well.

FMR hardcoated Lexan® polycarbonate is used for outstanding optics and impact strength 23 times better than acrylic. This is one tough windscreen!

  • FMR hardcoated Lexan® polycarbonate
  • Height: 22.80 in. (57.9cm)
  • Width: 17.13 in. (43.5cm)

i like it I'm 6'2", a bigger windshield is a must for me on a Vstrom. I really happy with this one, had a MRA vario before that was hit by a rock, so I just tried to replace with something else and I'm satisfied, good as the mra. wind protection is good, noise reduction good, in my opinion fair quality/price balance. Of course, I always ride with a helmet and when out of town with earplugs. October 6, 2014
Performed like they said it would. I wanted to stop the wind buffeting I was experiencing with the OEM windscreen on my vstrom. The vstream accomplished that mission. I do now have to look through the windscreen. Some might not like that particular fact. As long as I keep it clean I'm good to go. There is a small amount of vision distorsion in the sides of the windscreen. June 23, 2014
Design flaw I have a 2012 V-strom 1000 and the mirrors hit the windscreen when I turn hard left or right. Also the bike shakes when I hit 75 mph. it can be unsettling. I would expect for the money I paid for this it would at least not hit my mirrors. I would like to return it but I took it for a ride and then the I discovered the flaw. So I guess I am stuck with this. It has been a bad first impression . June 18, 2014
Fit and finish are outstanding This was the third windscreen I have tried on the Tenerre. The fit of the windshield looked great. Off for a ride. Finally I have a windscreen that works. My helmet is in smooth air and I can ride with my shield up if I need a bit of air. Great product. March 31, 2014
A quiet smooth ride. This screen moves alot of air. Adjusted to eye level and the ride is much better than the stock screen. Only about 200 miles on the screen so far, but WAY better than OEM. My other ride is a Vstar with Memphis Shades batwing and 12" screen. This is just as smooth. July 1, 2013

TC I: THE ADJUSTMENTS IT HAS ARE THE MOUNTING HOLES, THERE IS A "HIGH" AND A LOW ALIGNMENT FOR THE HOLES. I AM 6 FOOT AND THE SCREEN WORKS WELL, I WAS GETTING SIGNIFICANT HELMET BUFFETING AND THIS REDUCED IT AT FREEWAY SPEEDS. IT DID REQUIRE ME TO ADJUST MY MIRRORS SO THE DID NOT TOUCH AT THE FULL TURN POSITIONS. Oct 7, 2014

Michael R: The way the Vstream tall touring windscreen for Suzuki VStrom 1000 adjusts is exactly like the original windshield the only differences the windshield was actually taller and wider. It does adjust up and down by removing the screws and placing the windshield in a different position Oct 7, 2014

Jerald W C: There are no adjustments built into the windshield. But you can get a Madstad bracket for $100 or so and adjust it several inches. Oct 6, 2014
