Works very well I'm 5'9" and put this on my 2007 FJR1300. It's not quite as nice looking as the stock windshield, but it does a great job of moving the air where you want it. In the down position, I get a nice smooth blast of air to the face without much turbulence. I can also see over the windshield without any problem. In the up position 75-100% extended, I'm completely shielded from any headwind and can clearly hear music and phone calls in my helmet. I'm looking through the windshield, but there is no distortion. VSTREAM WINDSHIELD I purchased the VSTREAM for my 2012 FJR1300A. I went for a 200 mile day ride and the windshield worked excellent. I never realized that I should be able to hear my engine. I never was able to hear it with the stock shield. I was actually able to hear my IPOD without it being turned all the way up. GREAT PRODUCT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHIELD. June 30, 2014
Awesome! The VStream winscreen is 100% better than the stock windscreen! When the windsreen is extended to its "up" position the wind noise is virtually gone! I would definitely recommended it to those that are between 6'0" and 6'2" tall. I'm 6'1" and it made a huge difference for me! June 30, 2014
Performed like they said it would. I wanted to stop the wind buffeting I was experiencing with the OEM windscreen on my vstrom. The vstream accomplished that mission. I do now have to look through the windscreen. Some might not like that particular fact. As long as I keep it clean I'm good to go. There is a small amount of vision distorsion in the sides of the windscreen. June 23, 2014
Design flaw I have a 2012 V-strom 1000 and the mirrors hit the windscreen when I turn hard left or right. Also the bike shakes when I hit 75 mph. it can be unsettling. I would expect for the money I paid for this it would at least not hit my mirrors. I would like to return it but I took it for a ride and then the I discovered the flaw. So I guess I am stuck with this. It has been a bad first impression . June 18, 2014
Turns the FJR into a true tourer I'm 6'2" and the stock screen didn't do much to keep my head out of the wind. I put this on and it did the trick! I could ride at highway speed and leave my full face shield up! In the down position I still get a nice breeze for slower speeds. The quality and ease of installation is all good too! 2012 FJR 1300 June 17, 2014
Did what I needed it to do I was looking for better wind protection for my long rides, I especially wanted to cut down on the buffeting against my helmet. This windshield did the trick. It deffinately is not the best looking but the trade off of the wind protection is worth the uglier windshield. June 16, 2014
Great screen for a 2012 N1K! I just installed the shield on my 2012 Ninja 1000. It took just minutes. I'm exactly 6'. In the low position the air moves just above my shoulders with very little to no wind noise. In the middle position the air hits me at eye height but does get more noisy but not bad with ear plugs. In the upper position the air clears my helmet and has the same noise as the middle setting. Great screen much better than stock. The dark tint also makes the LCD display much easier to read and looks great on the metallic gray & black bike! Revzilla is fantastic to do business with as well. May 20, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Daniel B: need a tall wind screen so this is the tallest out there. This is my 2nd purchase with Revzilla and I have to say I'm imnpressed especially with the quick delivery and the cash back incentive. Aug 8, 2013
robert f asked: can a 6 ft person sitting on the lower seat setting on a super tenere see over the high windscreen, or are you looking through the plastic? Mar 13, 2014

Daniel B: Hi Robert, I bought and installed the largest one they have, I think it is 26" high and installed it on the highest setting on my Tenere. Definitely the best wind protection you can get. I'm 6'10" tall and my head is above the windscreen, I rarely have to look thru the plastic. Even with my helmet, with visor, being above the screen I feel no pressure from the wind. My seat is on the highest setting too. Since you are avg size, and if your concerned about looking thru the plastic I bet you would be ok with the screen that is one size smaller, I think it is 24". Lucas M: You will probably end up looking through glass. I'm 6'1 and have the seat on the highest setting and can just peek over the top. I personally like the wind protection, you can duck down to avoid the wind if you really need to. Mar 14, 2014

Adam B: Robert,
I'm 6'2 and I look considerably over the windscreen. I am extremely impressed with the deflection of wind at freeway speeds. Hope this helps.
