Icon Alliance Rubatone Helmet
The Icon Alliance Rubatone Helmet is a bad ass classic in matte black. While the color is a classic the design of the helmet is all new and a refinement of the original Alliance SSR Helmet. Icon engineers have improved on the original design by adding features like a more ergonomic head shape, a new ventilation system and an Icon Pro Shield. The Icon Alliance Helmet was designed with the sport rider in mind and is a great option for the rough and tumble rider. Coming in under $200 this helmet is a great option that is also affordable.
- All world standard, meets or exceeds the following: DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (EUROPE), SAI AS1698 (AUSTRALIA) and SG (JAPAN) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI OR SG Certification stickers unless purchased from an authorized dealer in that country.
- Injection molded polycarbonate shell for strength

I love this helmet!
I'm normally a Scorpion Helm fan; went out on a limb getting an ICON. I have to say that i'm far from disappointed. by far the best helmet I've ever bought. Wide field of view, very comfortable, and only slightly small from a normal helm sizing. The rubatone easily picks up scuffs, but as long as it's not a hard scratch, it buffs out pretty easily. I REALLY recommend a Silver ICON faceshield with this, only $40 but it ups the style and "enigma" factor through the roof!

One Week - Already Breaking Down
Only wore it three times and the rubber seal around the visor has already ripped and is now getting caught when I drop and lift my visor. Not sure if the warranty will cover something like this but I am definitely disappointed. I truly had high hopes for this helmet but after such little use and already experiencing such disappointing results, I don't think I'll be investing in the model again.

Good Helmet for a good price.
I bought this as my first helmet. I like it alot. It has a pretty wide field of vision, quiet, and is fairly light. I would definitely reccomend this to other riders.

Great helmet for the price.
I brought this helmet for my wife, so I can get her to start riding. While it does not compare with my Shoei RF-1100 you can't really get any better for the price. It is lacking those small little details that make a helmet great, but for the price I really don't think you can get any better than Icon. Icon's are the only helmet that we have been able to find that fits my wife's head, since it is quit long.

Could be great.
I love this helmet except that the air vents on top, which are glued on, are coming loose on mine after 4 months. In addition, the rubatone does get a little smudgy, but this is not a big deal to me. Otherwise it's a great helmet that I would be really happy with.

The Icon Alliance will meet standards on tracks that only require DOT certification. However, keep in mind that the big majority of tracks require a SNELL approved helmet. In that case, you will not be able to use your Icon Alliance on the track.10 months ago
