Great bang for that buck
A great inexpensive helmet. I got the rubatone on closeout so it was even better. it fits a little large I think its because of my headshape. haven't tested the airflow because ive only had it in the cold weather so far. the only thing that bothers me is icons pinlock system its near impossible to open with gloves on.

Quiet and True to fit
I recently purchased the Rubatone Icon Alliance and It fits near perfect. Still need to break it in; after that it'll fit perfect. I bought a small and my hat size is 7-71/8 so the sizing chart is pretty accurate. This is my 4th Icon helmet in 4 years and I love it.
Btw Rubatone helmets don't get scratched up and I always put decals/stickers on them to my liking :)

Great helmet, even better price!
If you want a good helmet for under $200 this is the one you should get. Even better I got this one for $100. Helmet looks great and is really comfortable. The only problem I had is that the sizing is a little off. I am usually an "XL" in helmets but I tried the XL and it seemed a little tight, not enough to hurt but the constant pulling on and off would bug me and hurt my ears. So I went a size bigger and got a "2XL" which is perfect! BTW my hat size is 7 1/2.
Icon always makes great products IMO.

Everything about this icon feels like it's great quality. Best bang for buck purchase I've made in a long time.

Great helmet overall
Awesome helmet for the price. Great quality.
-Face shield lock. Very useful feature for me. My other helmets shields would always fly open during a blind spot check.
-Great airflow, but not noisy. I use earplugs anyway.
-aerodynamic. I ride a naked bike, so this is definitely important.
-My only complaint is the sizing. My head is 23.5 inches, which is a large on the size chart. However, when I test fitted the helmet, it was way too big. I had to send it back. Maybe it's just my head shape. So I tried on a medium & that was also a bit too big. I ended up going with a small, which is very snug, but I'd rather have a tight fitting helmet than one that could fall off in an accident.

Loud Eye Candy
Pros: I have the Chieftain design helmet. First ride at night in podunk town and got a compliment from the first person in the gas station.
I wouldn't trade the inner lining for eternal life. Silky smooth and so comfortable. 11/10 for comfort.
No fog whatsoever, despite the plastic in front of the mouth sweating. Great deflector and screen.
Wind shield stub lock is simple and effective. Takes a stupid easy push up and out with the thumb to open. Will never wear out or break.
Tall/wide view. I can see the horizon at full race tuck. Clear views with chin to tank. East to West is also unobstructed.
Aero is superb! I never realized my other helmet was turning my head in all different directions until I rode with this. Keeps your head locked straight to the wind. It even takes a tad of muscle to look over your shoulder at speed. No more stiff neck. I can't imagine it being better.
Coins: Loud over 75mph. 100+ and its unbearable.
My cheapo chinese no name was three times quieter. I need ear plugs now
My guess is the visors side caps are whistling right next to my ears. Looks vs. Rideability conflict.
Screen exchange. I took it off to get a warning paper unstuck from under the side cap when I first got it. Easy enough to get off. Took a click pen, 15 minutes, muscle, and attention to detail to get it back on. No bueno. 2/10.
Notable mentions: Top vent switch is trash. The half open position is so weak, I could push it to full open with a thread. But who cares! Open or close on top and for mouth area, as well as jowl area turn valve vents. Refreshingly simple.
D rings are easy to work with even with light gloves.
It can use a chin wind deflector.
For under 200 bucks, The engineers got shafted because this thing feels 100%. Just get ear plugs before this bad boy shows up at your door! =P
