The path of the Chieftain forsakes all forms of human indulgence. No treaties or laws are acknowledged - only a warriors courage in battle is respected. Strict discipline is maintained, even in the most nightmarish of engagements. The Chieftain is the feathered crest of the rider who rides upon the trail of glory. The Icon Alliance Chieftain Helmet is the spirited refinement of the original Alliance SSR Helmet, its predecessor. The new Icon Alliance Helmet improves upon the original design in some key ways making it a good option for a mid-price range sport helmet. This kick ass helmet packs a lot of bang for your buck which is why it is one of our favorites.

Features:

  • All world standard, meets or exceeds the following: DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (EUROPE), SAI AS1698 (AUSTRALIA) and SG (JAPAN) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI OR SG Certification stickers unless purchased from an authorized dealer in that country.
  • Injection molded polycarbonate shell for strength

Good overall purchase The medium helmet I purchased ran a little big , but still a good fit . The pictures do not do it justice , all the colors are extremely bright ! Love this helmet . May 6, 2013
Amazing helmet! This is my first Icon helmet and after all the good things I heard about them I had to order one. The chieftains colors just dont speak enough on the website. In person they are way more intense and awesome. Ive got a big head and have worn XL. For me it is a litte hard to get on but once its on its on. This helmet isnt going anywhere. It fits perfect after that and is very comfy. The airflow on this thing is out of this world. On cool mornings it feels like ive got a fan in the front of the helmet blowing cold air on my head. Its cool that you can actually feel the airflow. Overall its an awesome helmet. For the price its hard to beat. May 6, 2013
Icon Alliance Chieftan Helmet This is a great helmet that's true to its fit and comfortable. The Chieftan art has drawn much attention! Most people say its the nicest helmet they've ever seen. Great Upgrade! Killer Graphics! The helmet gets more attention when I ride then I do. The graphics are super loud and you can see me coming for miles away. The helmet is also way lighter then any ive had before. Overall I would definitely recommend. September 24, 2012
Amazing helmet for the price I ordered the chieftain a couple weeks ago after seeing it online. I liked how it was its own unique design and nobody would have anything close to it on the street. Received the helmet a few days later and my first reaction when I opened the box was WOW. The colors are all neon and extremely bright. Pictures does not do the graphics justice. I went ahead and ordered a blue mirrored visor with the helmet and it was a perfect touch to set off the whole package. I've recieved many complements from almost everyone who's seen it. Fit is great. Couldn't ask for more August 28, 2012

Currently none of the helmets sold through RevZilla are equipped with the AUS 1698 stickers. So while they might meet AUS 1698 standards, they will not officially have the certification.
