Icon Airmada Hoodoo Helmet
when i first purchased this helmet i was really happy with it.... that was because i didn't know any better. the fit and finish is horrible. i set the helmet on the ground and it rolled on to the top of it and scratched the vynil. that is small potatoes though. my big concern is i purchased this helmet less than 3 months ago and already the ruber gasket around the base of the helmet has come off 3/4 of the way. now i at first didn't care because stuff happens. i emailed icon and they informed me they were going to send me a "helmet safe adhesive" as the CSR said. so a week later of not being able to safely use my helmet i get a package from icon. i follow the instructions and attempt to repair my helmet only to have the gasket not stay on where i placed the glue. then i noticed the smell and paid close attention and noticed they literally have bought a small tube of super glue and have stuck an icon lable over the super glue brand lable. this is my second icon product i've had that has failed. i would not suggest anyone purchase from this company. after emailing icon back voicing my concern and discontent and how i felt they have no regard for customer safety they were no longer willing to help and told me to contact the retailer. Which is not close by at all. So I now have to mail my helmet to the retailer and can't ride or drive over 3 hours to exchange it where I bought the helmet. It's a very frustrating experience so far.

Awesome Airmada Helmet
Great helmet so far. Have been riding with the Icon Airmada helmet for the past month.
- the fit, I have a large oval-shaped head, usually XL or 7-1/2 in hats, but after reading reviews and measurement guidelines, went with the L. Fits Great!
- the style, all black shiny. great looking style to match my black M50 cruiser.
- the comfort is pretty solid all around, the padding is nice, no irritating pressure points
- the airflow feels nice when riding, thanks to the multiple vents
- the view, pretty good, no blind spots
The helmet doesnt smudge too much, or does not fog. Comes with a nice protective bag from icon.
I strongly recommend.

Killer look with great feel
I added a green mirrored face shield and it really makes this helmet look BEAST! When riding the air flow through the helmet keeps my head dry. The comfort of this helmet is great and with the light weight of it, makes riding a blast!

I crashed in this helmet before. Saved my skull for sure. So I bought another. It has the Oval shape. I have a long thin face. Helmet fits tight and comfortable. Best features are the covers that go on the side of the visor. Makes it look a lot smoother. Also there is a metal clip that holds the visor down in place. I had a helmet before where the wind would push the visor up when shoulder checking at high speeds. This will never happen with the icon. The graphics look really cool. It's great that icon let's you choose from so many colors and options for this awesome helmet. Only reason to might buy is if you have a very round and fat head. Probably wouldn't be comfortable.

Good product!!!!!!Please, read all of this!!!!!!!!
Bought the rubatone, bought the gold mirrored sheild, bought the extra side covers for the windscreen, i bought gloss black ones cause they want 10 bucks more for anything "rubatone". LOOKS RAD! i just use the gloss black pair for my night time rides on the clear screen.
I have been using this helmet for about 2 months and its held up to my standards for a daily helmet. Keeps the wind out, keeps the rain out and keeps your head pretty cozzy. I have not broken the windshield locking compont yet and i change my sheild 2 times a day, atleast 3 times a week, has held up this far.
It is pretty quite...too quite infact that Im throwing in speakers but thats because im used to hauling A** on a dirt bike and all you can hear is the wind and the bike. Now all i hear is my own thoughts......which, theres too many to listen too during my all day rides or short 2 hour runs.
i see that everyone has the rubatone, seen quite a few other riders in my area with it. I wear an XL helment in everything, dirt bike helmets and full face street helmets, the fit feels pretty spot on but a bit small in the check area, might just be my head, but all the other xl's ive own fit perfect!
Im one of those kinda people who have a long skinny head, so thats my reference if your looking for one.
OH and I almost forgot, I cant remember cause its been a while since i've owned a "fullface", i just wore dirtbiike helmets for a lot of years, saved me money.
...........When I'm taking tight turns, at "tight" speeds, I;ve noticed that the top of the helmet blocks a bit of your "full speed ahead!!!!" vision, what i mean is it blocks your look up, even though your supposed to look down as to where you'll be in your lane of the road. so if your pinning it 'round the twisties, you'll have to "wait" to see whats next.....other than impending doom, you can see out of the sides like you wernt wearing a helmet!
Just wish the price was 175 shipped to my door.
If you buy a helmet for yourself, shouldn't it fit like it was for someone else? Incorrect, so why do I have to pay extra for cheek pads when it already comes with some, oh cause its not the right size, oh so i bought this helmet for you then, here take it.

Great first helmet
This is the first helmet I've purchased, and it's been excellent so far. Air flow is fantastic, even at slower speeds. No discomfort even after several hours of riding. The anti-fog coating on the shields work incredibly well (I've purposely tried to fog it up and it stays clear).
My only complaint is that the shield change mechanism isn't especially easy to use. I wear prescription sunglasses most of the time, so I just keep the clear one on at all times.
I installed a Sena SMH10R and the speakers and side controls don't affect the performance of the helmet at all. Even with my glasses, there's enough room for the speakers behind the cheek pads for everything to fit comfortably.
