Great Spring Helmet So Far
I was looking for a helmet with great ventilation for the spring and summer. So, far it has been working very well. When I tilt my head slightly forward on the freeway, I can feel the cool air moving across my temples/forehead. As mentioned in the description, it also comes with a tinted visor.

Looks really dope on my kitchen table!
Here's the thing...gangster graphics, quality construction, fits like OJ's glove. Remember that scene from "Cool Runnings" when John Candy has to hammer fist the helmet onto Sanka's head? Yeah, so my wife's the sexier, younger and MUCH thinner John Candy, and I'm the blonder, whiter, MUCH americaner Sanka. It just don't fit. I have a pretty round dome and this thing is definitely looong oval. Thought thinner cheek pads would help...negative ghostrider. As if getting it on wasn't hard enough (the helmet that is...no virility problems on this end), taking it off is a whole 'nother story (again, helmet not skivvies). Now I'm just gonna assume that from a third person perspective it must look something akin to witnessing the miracle of life spring forth on the Serengeti...uncomfortable for all parties involved.
That said, I sure wish it fit because it's flat out sick looking. Graphics look like they were peeled off the back of some rum soaked whaler...or Pabst soaked hipster...either way, duh! Winning! Construction quality is great for the price point and it's not even manufactured in a country run by commie b@stards...lead poisoning not included I assume? Anyway, buy it if you're long skulled, buy an Airframe if you're not. Oh yeah, don't even think about it if you're Alfred E. Newman eared...unless you want the side of your head to look like Holyfield.

Great Overall Helmet
Was looking specifically for a cephalopod oriented helmet and Icon Airmada delivered in spades! You can practically feel the raw power of the deep sea beast flowing through you as your ride. Although I can't confirm this scientifically, I feel like the rubber of my tires becomes significantly stickier when I wear the helmet, as if the essence of the dormant Kraken on the helmet stretches out it's arms and infuses the tires themselves. I have successfully sunk at least 5 marine vessels while wearing the helmet with ease.
Wonderfully bold, old world Kraken graphic wrapped onto a comfortable, well vented, afforable helmet. I would definitely recommend.

Best helmet i've ever had
I bought this helmet for its looks, but it turned out to be quiet, and cool as well. I received so many compliments on it that at one point I was tired of people complimenting it and asking me questions. Unfortunately some guy decided not to check his blind spot and I slid basically face first at 40mph with this helmet, and it did the job it was made for perfectly. I'll forever be a fan of the airmada.

The finish on the helmet is excellent.
When you first try it on it is going to be tight. If you have a strong jaw line you will most likely need the smaller set of cheek insterts. Wind noise is ok but I don't do any high speed droning on the interstate. Airflow is amazing. Super easy to change the face shield.

This helmet is badass, great areo-dynamics, and a sick design. Not too pricy for a good durable helmet

Outstanding helmet for the money
I've had this helmet for about 3 months, and I've been extremely happy with it. Stepping up from a budget helmet, the difference is unbelievable.
After a week or so of break-in (at first the helmet was painfully tight to get on and off), this helmet fits perfectly. It is snug and secure at speed, and it feels super stable on the highway (important for me, as I have a naked bike). That being said, there is a lot of wind noise at highway speeds. If you're going a long way, I would recommend some earplugs.
The field of vision is massive, and is one of my favorite aspects of the Airframe. On that note, the anti-fog visor has worked excellently so far. Air flow has been very good with this helmet, and I've found the vents to do a good job of keeping water out in the rain.
Overall, I can't really find anything to complain about with this helmet. Besides a being outrageously tight at the beginning, it has been stellar. I have this helmet in the antique colorway, and I've gotten endless compliments on it. It's hard to go wrong with the Airframe.

You won't regret it
It's a little spendy comparatively. You could probably find something similar or more suited to your tastes if you looked around. I used the Icon sizing chart and it fits perfectly. It's a little snug getting it on, but once it's on it's secure. It's a little heavier than I expected from a $265 helmet, but it fits so well and securely that you can't tell once it's on.
The ventilation is AMAAAAAAAAAZING, no complaints there. If you have the visor closed but not locked in with the pin it whistles a little bit, but just crack it more or push it down a little to lock it and you're golden. It's a bit loud with all the vents open, but 70mph is tolerable for a long time; I just tuck behind my wind screen and it's pretty quiet. Turning your head to the side or looking behind you on the freeway you don't feel any excess pulling or drag on the helmet which is really nice.
Great horizontal field of vision, vertical could be a little better, sometimes I have to pull it up a little bit if I'm tucking hard, but it's not really that big of a deal.
A few weeks after I got it a little kid at a party found it and dropped it on the concrete, but the paint didn't chip or gouge, just a few scuffs that polished out really easily.
I've found that switching visors is a LOT easier and faster if you put the visor on first, and THEN put on the side plates. It makes it a lot easier to see where everything's lining up and for some reason mine has a hard time locking in with the side plates on.
Comes with a clear and dark smoke visor, both are great, haven't had any problems with fogging in the colder months, both resist scratches really well and clean easily.
Bottom line it looks awesome and performs well for what you pay. There's some slight annoyances, but if you're riding instead of sitting in a chair looking at it then you won't care.
