Icon Airmada Bostrom Helmet
Great All Around Helmet!
After wearing my HJC helmet for awhile, with my accidental drops on the ground, I finally decided to buy me a new helmet something that was vibrant enough that would help with my daily drives and commute to work. When I got this helmet I was amazed at how bright the blue and orange was! Just about every other driver did a double take when approaching when before most never even bothered a glance over.
Another aspect I was looking for was for a quieter helmet. As my HJC used to have a lot of wind noise when going above 60 MPH and with the Icon I was easily able to approach double the speeds, and have a lot of the wind cut out.
The helmet fits a bit snug at first, but after several minutes you barely notice that you're wearing it. This is a great helmet and would tell others about it as well!

Very nice graphic on an already legendary helmet.
I've had Hjc Helmets in the past and liked them, but everything i wish i had this helmet has. Very light, fits true to sizing chart, comfortable too! I've received many compliments on this particular helmet with a dark smoke shield on it. Hi viz accents and a nice design, i couldn't ask for more

First impression - great once on!
True to his name, ninjaboy14 slipped in and drew first blood on reviews on this helmet while I was unboxing mine. ;)
I will follow up in comments or edits as I get more time in this Airmada, but here are some things I want to point out off the bat:
"LONG OVAL" - This helmet is made for a long, narrow oval head shape. It's all over the reviews, the Icon site, the manual. They don't "run small" as some have commented. They run narrow. If you have a head shape that makes your recommended size feel too tight on the sides, you might want a different helmet rather than upsizing to squeeze your noggin in there. Anyway...
Some background: I have struggled to find a helmet to fit my head. I'm the small side of medium at 57cm and definitely a long oval head shape (14cm wide, 21 cm long). Many helmets feel fine when I first put them on. I have a Scorpion EXO-700 that is great around town, but on long rides the pain in my upper forehead is insane. I have a Bell 500 that hurts in 20 minutes. The Arai Signet-Q costs a fortune and didn't fit me well (maybe could customize it, but no access to a shop with all the pads. And did I mention they cost a fortune?).
I was beginning to despair, but the folks at Revzilla were very helpful on the phone and guided me to the Airmada (I briefly tried an Alliance, which I liked and almost kept, but still felt a touch of front pressure that made me nervous).
The Airmada fits! It's snug all around and there's pressure on my forehead, but it seems like "soft" pressure from the padding. Getting it onto my head, however, is brutal. The comments in the video and other reviews about the tight opening are really true. It is difficult for me to get in and out of this thing. Once my head is in there, though, it feels fantastic. Nice and snug, but with lots of room for air to move around.
For comparison, I switched back to the EXO-700 right after wearing the Icon for a while. The scorpion felt so easy to put on, and for a moment felt more comfy. But then I became aware that the pressure on my forehead was the EPS liner. In other words, it felt hard. The padding was totally compressed. Switch back to Airmada...*ouch, struggle, Aaaaah* What a relief!
The graphics are awesome. I am a big fan of hi-viz. This helmet looks more black in person than in pics, but there's lots of nice bright neon yellow detail. I don't care for the Stack, so this is a good alternative, even if not as attention-grabbing. And I can't speak for all "the ladies", but my wife does dig the zebra stripes. ;)
One con so far: Shield changing still stinks. The Alliance was awful in this respect. The Airmada process seems like it should be easier, but changing the shield wasn't nearly as easy as others I've used. I got a light smoke shield and am banking on that being usable in all levels of light. If you don't have to change shields, the mechanism isn't an issue, right?
And regarding shields, take note: Icon doesn't currently list the Bostrom side plates in their replacement parts list, nor do the online vendors like Revzilla. You can get extra plates for seemingly every graphic except this one (as far as I know). If you're on the fence between the Bostrom and another style, that might be a consideration for you for now. I sent a question to Icon about their plans to offer them. Will update here if I get a reply.
Ok, sorry if this is too long. I have struggled to find a helmet that works and want to help anyone like myself who's out there shopping.

Awesome Graphics, Great Helmet
Although the price may seem a little high, its definitely worth it. I just wrecked with my 4 Horsemen helmet and I loved it, so I got this one because I loved the new graphics. The pictures don't do it justice, this helmet looks wicked sweet. I love the airmada helmet, airflow is great and it fits like a glove. I would recommend this to everyone. I get a ton of compliments on it, and the ladies love the zebra.
