HJC RPHA 10 Combust Helmet
Massive bang for buck, SNELL rated, lightweight
Coming from an HJC CL-16, I heavily considered this and the RF1200 helmet. Both fit well, but at nearly half the cost, this helmet is almost every bit as good as the RF1200. Solid feel on the visor action, and the liner feels just a hair less quality than the Shoei. Bonus that this helmet includes the chin-curtain, breath guard.
Much quieter than the CL16, 90% less tweaking when head-checking, this helmet offers a lot for the money. Way lighter too, and comparing both Larges, this is packaged much smaller.
Those with glasses may bump into the breath guard just a bit, but it's fine once it's on your noggin'. The guard + curtain does make glasses fog up quite bad/quickly when the ambient temps are below freezing. (no the visor) I'm no scientist, but I think it's simply not enough circulation at that point. (can be fixed by opening vents/cracking the visor, but it's too cold when below freezing to do so).

Great helmet, bang for the buck BUCK not for people with glasses
I started wearing cheap helmets when I first started riding about three years ago, I was wearing a HJC r2, it was good. Then to a bell helmet, better. Sold all of them and got myself an Arai vector 2 on close out. WHAT a DIFFERENCE !!...wrote that since then for 2 years and I ordered this HJC RPHA Ben Spies helmet....love the number 11... Very well made.. I have to say for that north of 300, 350 range ... I actually expect this helmet to be made in Europe or Japan but it's made in Korea. Love Koreans, my wife is Korean, nothing against them but I would hope like some agv made in Italy, arai and shoei made in Japan.
Tried it on few nights ago when it was about 45 degrees out. Immediately when I was breathing, the breath guard would bounce my breath off to my glasses and fog right up. It was pretty hard to ride with the helmet. Why did it do that ? I took the cheek pads off my arai for cleaning and they weren't dry yet. So the next day, I took the breath guard out and it wasn't fogging up as bad, I have yet to take the chip curtain off because the arai has no breath guard and chin guard. I'm wondering if those are the factor.
To get no wind on your face, you HAVE to snap the center closure to get no wind. Leave it unsnapped, you will get a little air, I guess for venting.
The finish isn't that impressive compare to my vector 2 or my agv gp tech simonicelli. It just doesn't have the WOW factor
Last of all, I am Asian I have a rounder head, HJC fits perfect, my head is 23 inches, I wear a large and large in arai, agv and this one as well. And yes, this helmet loves the tuck more than the vector 2 which is more street.
By the way, Revzilla price matched me when an another site had it for a little cheaper.....four paws up Revz
DOnt wear the size helmet guys !! Stay snug and ride safe
PEACE !!!...... I know I talked too much.....

really great helmet for the price.
Was just at California Superbike school CODE race.
Much more comfortable than my old CS-R2, especially at track when constantly putting it on and removing it.
A lot lighter also. Great vision and the airflow. lower sound levels as well.

Stylish and packed with goodness.
After weeks of searching for a new helmet, I finally landed on the RPHA 10 Combust. It is Snell approved, full face, well ventilated, and snug. I bought this helmet to replace my Bell Star that I've had for almost 6 years. The shape is very similar to the Bell Star, but the fit and viewing angle is much better. To top it off, this bad boy is quiet as can be! I haven't needed to use the pin-lock system yet, but the rest of the features are fantastic. I highly recommend this helmet to anybody needing a Snell-approved, full-face, high-quality helmet for a worthy price. Get some!
On a side note, Revzilla was great for my needs. I ordered the helmet on Friday and received it on Tuesday--even with Monday having been a holiday. Great job, fellas.

Great helmet for the price. Great customer service from Revzilla on a price match.
I came from an AGV K3 so to me this helmet was a major improvement. The fit was slightly smaller than the K3 but I expect it to wear in a bit.
Some info on the Ben Spies III helmet that you may not be able to tell from the pictures. The Red fades to a Paramac Ducati orange and the black and blue colors have metallic flakes in them.

I've worn this helmet a bunch of times now.
Long rides, short rides.
At times it's so uncomfortable that I have to pull over and readjust my head.
And other times it's fine.
I have my sena 20s hooked up to it.
Without the chin protector no one can hear me on the phone or intercom. With it on its super quiet.
Wish it had cut outs like the shoei for Bluetooth systems.

Excellent Helmet! Crash Tested!
This helmet is super comfy and sports a similar fit and feel to the Shoei RF1100. Has excellent FOV and ventilation. A lightweight helmet that is meant to be for race or aggressive street applications. Love this helmet.
I crashed in this helmet at the track doing about 50mph +- 5MPH. I went down on my right side, landing shoulder, then back of the head first. I remember my first thought at impact, it was, daaaang, that was really soft. Thats how comfortable yet protective this helmet is. There is no question about the quality of this helmet. I wouldnt hesitate to buy this helmet again. HJC knocked this helmet design out the park. Its a race helmet with all the perks at an excellent price point to match.

I love this helmet. I was in the market for a new helmet when I purchased my 3rd bike this summer and my uncle recommended me this one. It is very easy to change the face shields out on so you can have numerous ones depending on the weather. The helmet is also very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.
