HJC RPHA 10 Combust Helmet
Love this helmet, very light and extremely comfertable. Interior is awesome. Shield lock mechanism is not a problem at all. Doesn't flow a lot of air which I think keeps it quiet. Can't go wrong with Revzilla, they're awesome, great customer service!!

Great feeling helmet. I wore it at 2 consecutive track days right out of the box. Good fit. The cheek pads are misleadingly soft to your hand, but do make a secure fit to your head. The liner dries really quickly between sessions. The center locking mechanism takes some getting used to but does inspire confidence that it won't open in an accident. Received many compliments on the design as well.

Great helmet !!!
I generally do not waste my time writing reviews on websites. However, first, the Revzilla folks by phone/emails and at the Philadelphia store have been wonderful helping me making my choice. Then, this helmet is just awesome. I was going with Arai/Shoei but none of them really fit my neutral/round head shape. I love the shape, the style and the colors of the RPHA 10 Combust. It is very light and well finished (can't believe it is a HJC). It is pretty quiet, very comfortable... and obviously cheaper than its Japanese competitors. Now, it does not vent as well on the straight position but it does a decent job. Really recommend it !!!

Great helmet, good quality, exceptional design.
I bought this helmet for my wife as an entry level helmet, and so far she loves this thing.
The quality of parts at this price is second to none. It really makes for a nice women's helmet due to the variety of color (purple, green, blue) without having the standard pink and flower patterns that often times accompany women's helmet designs.
I'm thinking about changing from my Bell Helmet to a HJC based on her experience.

Light, aerodynamic, comfortable: Recommended
I am typically a frugal shopper looking for value. Buying cheap isn't my thing but neither is spending 3 times what I have to for gimmicks or for a "gotta have it" brand. That said, I feel this helmet is a noticeable improvement when compared to helmets I have previously purchased in the $160 - $200 price point.
Light Weight - I recently rode with a friend who bought a new helmet about the same time I did (Shoei Qwest). When he picked up this RPHA 10 he commented on how light it is. I promise you it is a good bit lighter than my old HJC CL-15.
Aerodynamic - On my first ride, with my first head check I noticed dramatically reduced wind resistance. Combined with the light weight this helmet is greatly appreciated on longer rides.
Comfort - Throw in good air flow characteristics with the above two points and I feel this is a very comfortable helmet. FYI - the vents are positioned to give maximum airflow in a racing tuck position but I ride a Suzuki SV650 in a pretty upright stance and still get enough airflow to keep me comfortable here in TN.
Styling - I have not seen another rider with this helmet so I believe it is pretty unique, but I also think it looks really good. If you want to be recognized for the brand of your lid keep looking.
Protection & Durability - I have only had it for a few months and have not had an accident in years so I can only speculate on this point.
In conclusion I strongly believe this helmet represents a very noticeable improvement over helmets at the $160 - $200 price point.

Great High quality helmet!
Called Revzilla a few times to get help with helmet fitting and the service was great. Tried on a lot of different helmets at local stores, helmets that fit my round head the best were Arai and the RPHA10. Bought this helmet and I'm very happy I did. Price was much cheaper compared to Arai. Quality is awesome and its built very well, air flow is good while upright but seems like its optimized for a 3/4 tuck.
Great looking helmet over all and its so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing it most of the time. Vision is very wide. Inner liner is really soft and wicks sweat away very nicely in 95 degree temps! Excellent helmet for the money.

Just a great helmet at a good price with outstanding service from RevZilla
First I ordered two helmets from Revzilla on a Friday and they were on my doorstep Monday with free shipping. I decided I wanted a dark smoke shield and same thing, ordered Tuesday, on the porch Thursday with the free shipping. This is great customer service. As far as the helmet I am very pleased, I have a more round shaped head and have a hard time getting a helmet with proper fit. I like HJC as they seem to build a more round shape. The RPHA 10 (Large), while not quite as round as other HJC helmets I've had, is a perfect fit for me, snug as advertised but no pressure points and not "tight". I was looking for a "step up" helmet, looked at the usual high end helmets and the RPHA 10 fits me best. Get the helmet out in the sun and the Combust graphics are incredible, the pictures do not do the helmet justice. The helmet is quieter than my other more low end helmets but it's not as quiet as I was expecting, not bad, just not quite as good as I was hoping for. Absolutely no buffeting, whistling or any other problem at speed and what I would describe as good ventilation. I've used pin lock systems for years as they actually work and was impressed that this helmet, at this price, comes with not only a pin lock visor but also the pin lock lens. My take is this helmet compares favorably with those more expensive helmets in both build quality and features, has awesome graphics, is a more nuetral head shape and does all this at a price that can't be beat.
