HJC CS-R2 Thunder Helmet
This item is even better than I had expected. The packaging was great and so was the delivery. I got way more for my buck. I am extremely happy!

Good helmet at a good price
I decided that after a year of riding with no helmet that I should get one. I wanted something that would save my head and stop the wind in my ears. I bought it on clearance and I am not disappointed in my choice. Bought an XL to fit my large head and it fit great. I've put about 1000 miles on it and it fits a little looser than i want it, but certainly still feels safe.
Seeing as this was my first personal helmet, I don't have much to go on. It's noisier than I expected. Is much better than not wearing anything but I don't have any idea how you could use the communicator they recommend.
The shield is clear as glass and I (as someone that always wears sunglasses) definitely would get the dark smoke shield. Takes about 30 seconds to change.
Great helmet! Would buy again.

Great bang for the buck helmet.
This is my first helmet and I've got nothing but good things to say about the CS-R2 helmet. It is a perfect fit for my round head and is very comfortable. The anti fog visor is adequate enough and the tool less quick change system is foolproof. Venting is good enough and keeps my noggin cool when moving. Only con would be that the helmet is a bit loud but I don't mind it. If your looking for a quiet helmet, look elsewhere. Overall the HJC CS-R2 is a great bang for the buck helmet. I won't hesitate to buy another HJC helmet in the future.

Great first or spare helmet
This is a no frills basic full-face helmet. The design is dummy proof. You have a top and chin vent and vents in the back. This keeps the helmet nice and cool.
However, this is a loud helmet. If you're on longer rides, wear ear plugs. The design is fine for any riding position except for maybe an aggressive super sport position.
The helmet is not too heavy, but it isn't carbon fiber. The visor is quite easy to see out of with very little obstruction. Visor removal an installation is very simple if you have replaceable face shields.
The fitment is for more narrow/oval heads. If you're head is on the rounder/wider side, it's going to be tight.

Entry level helmet
This was my first helmet. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it is very basic and no frills. My first bike was a Ninja 250, and I thought the ventilation was okay at that point. I now ride a V-Strom with very good wind protection, and even at 80 MPH there will always be fog at the bottom of my visor on cold mornings, chin vent open or closed.
It can be very loud at highway speeds, which is why I always wear earbuds or earplugs. For $100 it does the job, I'm sure just as well as the other $100 lids. Now, however, I wish I had spent a little bit more so that I wouldn't already be wanting to buy a new helmet.

This helmet is a great value and a quality product.
I got this helmet as my first helmet. It was a great looking inexpensive helmet. It was pretty light and the field of view was great. Air flow was ok, not the best and the sheild likes to fog up. I was recently in a wreck going about 30 when I smacked the ground, this hielmet saved my life. I would definitely buy again. It looked awesome with the mirrored sheild on it and a mohawk.

HJC great fit and value for low cost
I have always worn HJC helmets great bang for the buck, always fits without a lot of guess work. Have just bought 2 more of the CS-R2 models one Thunder one Solid and love the look, air flow and comfort. The thunder was for my girlfriend who liked the colors and design. Great experience with team RevZilla, will surely keep buying my motorcycle needs here.
