Givi WP402 30L Waterproof Roll Bag
Warranty Sucks / Doing the right thing did not happen
First time I used this bag, strapped it on, it ripped at attachment point over 1 inch of material. Now it will leak. I threw it in garage and forgot about returning. 2 years 3 months later I shipped it back to them with original receipt. Asked them to repair or replace damage. They shipped it back to me unrepaired with a note saying it was 3 months past their warranty. (even though in the note I said it happened within a month of purchase) This is not doing the right thing as a company. I will never buy a GIVI product again. First because it ripped under strap pressure, and second they could have repaired it and didn't because of POLICY. I am thinking of burning the bag and making a utube video of it, going over their policy and desicions as a company.

Not the cheapest, but I'm pleased
First off, the bag is much larger than I expected. I have a tank bag that the manufacturer claims is 25L and this Givi bag will easily hold 2 of them. The comments you've seen here about 5-6 pairs of jeans, shoes, shirts, socks, etc are completely true. I'd bet perhaps even a bit more. Easily enough for a 5+ day trip. I was originally planning on the 40L bag, so glad I went with the 30L.
The build quality appears to be very nice, but while the bungee cords are nice quality they are not adjustable. So, be ready to buy some ROK cords or something to attach it firmly to your bike.
I haven't tested the waterproof claim yet, but from the quality feel of the material and its "rubberish"-feeling interior, I bet its true, if closed correctly.
Fast and free shipping from ZLA, way to go. Ordered Monday, here on Wednesday.

Good bag for the price
Used it on a 3000 mile trip in September. Held up just fine packed full with 2 pairs of jeans, 5 shirts, 5 pairs of socks, shoes, sandals, 12oz squirt bottle, rags, power strip, and a few extra things. Definitely perfect for a week long trip for your essentials. Had it sitting across the passenger seat on my cbr 600. Does take some time to figure out a good way to strap it down but that's because I'm on a sport bike.

3600 Miles later...
Just had this GIVI bag on my Yamaha FZ-09 from Southern California, over 6 states to Sturgis South Dakota. I packed my tent, sleep bag, sleeping pad, tent poles and 4 days of clothes along with a camping stool in this bag. We rode thru rain and extreme high winds; the bag let nothing inside. Everything was dry and there was no dust to be found. Everyone in outr group wished they had this bag along with them! Givi hit this outta the park, easy to use and multiple ways to strap it to the bike.,

Just back from a multi-day, multi-mode trip including Indiana rainstorms and budget airlines. The bag worked well under the cargo net and as a carry-on. Just the right size for four days of stuff. I didn't use the enclosed bungie cords. The shoulder strap could be a little more padded, but works fine.

I definitely tested the durability and weather resistance of this bag. it held all my gear and clothes minus my tent for a 3 day trip. It was thrown around, dragged, dropped, and definitely not handled with care, and it still looks like new after cleaning it up. The D rings and straps included made mounting it on my 2003 Wide Glide very easy. On our last day and return home, we hit a massive storm we had to try and ride around. Over 10 hours in rain, wind, and stupidity of us riding thru it, the bag kept the elements and environment out if clothes and gear inside.
I am about to do a longer trip with my wife, and thinking of getting the next size up. Overall, I am very impressed with the bag.

I went on a +2k mile trip through Canada this fall. Unfortunately it rained pretty much the whole time, but the bags did great. Everything stayed dry (until I unpacked at night) and you can get a lot in them. The d-rings and the included tie downs worked well, and the ability to stack the bags like a modular system was great. Either way, great bags for the money. Please ignore my messy garage, but It was the only pic I have readily available that shows the bag in use.

Does what it says on the tin.
Not taken the bag out on a run yet but planning to in September for the east coast gypsy . Packed all my gear in no bother though , two man tent , roll mat , sleeping bag , all in seperate stuff bags but took the lot and space for a few more wee things. Got free bungee chords too , fits easy on back rails or seat , time will tell on durability but looks like solid construction , waterproof and reflective. Does what it says on the tin.
