Bell Vortex Damage Helmet
Can't beat the price!
With such a low price tag, I was able to get this helmet AND a transitional face shield! Plus, the helmet is very stable at speed...even when I turn my head to check my blind spot. The visibility is great and the fit is very comfortable.

Great easy change screen and air vents.
Great product, a lot of air ventilation (which was my main concern). Cool when it's hot, warm when is cold and vents are closed. Definitely recommended.

Great helmet for the money
My old helmet was a Shoei Multitec, and I've used Shoei for decades. Shoei had always fit me comfortably, but at high speeds, the chinbar would get close enought for my lips to touch. After watching the Bell Vortex review, I decided I needed to switch to a longer/narrower helmet. The Vortex fits perfectly. I had to go from the large I normally wear to an XL, but it fits like a glove. A large view port, light weight, and plenty of airflow. It doesn't fit well with glasses. The cheekpads push the glasses off my ears, but a couple stitches at the top of the pad fixed that. It's a very noisy helmet, but I always wear earplugs, and I'd rather have the airflow than quiet anyway. All in all a very nice helmet for the price.

Really Great Helmet for the Price
Although this is my first helmet i thought that it was light years ahead of the HJC i used to complete my mc learning course. First off the styling is amazing it looks even cooler in person, they need to make more ww2 inspired designs. The fit seems to be a tad bit smaller than the HJC i had used however once i got the correct size it felt great. The internal Pads have so far lasted the entire season and dont smell too bad and i ride every day however i have noticed that at higher speeds(not legal speeds) the helmet tends to get a little bit loose but thats probably normal and its not something i could fault bell for. The pads are also really easy to take out and they seem to be really secure mounted inside(it took me a while to remove them actually.. which i think is good i wouldnt want to lose pads or have them moving around) It has 4 different vents for airflow and it seemed to keep me comfortable in the summer and when closed it keeps me relatively warm. The visor does fog on those colder nights however if you leave the bottom vent open it tends to eliminate that. The visor changes are rediculiously easy takes a total of 10 seconds to change from my clear to the smoked lens. I use the uclear hbc100 communicator and it fits fine inside the helmet, infact there are little spots for the speakers to mount right into the sides of the helmet which is nice. Sound seems to be normal around city driving but at higher speeds you get some wind but i feel that most of it is from the bottom of the helmet. I havent tried any top of the line helmets plus im always playing my music so i really dont have any issues with sound(would it be nice to have it quieter? yes of course)its manageable. Overall i think its a great helmet for the price, the dark iridium/ chromed visor is a must with this helmet it looks amazing. Id buy another in a heartbeat if they brought back the pinup girls bell helmets.

DOT and Snell, great price
I bought this helmet because I wanted to get one that had both safety ratings and this was the lowest price point I found. Its my first helmet so I cant really say much as compared to other helmets, but as far as I can tell its really a great helmet. Obviously you can hear wind noise, especially when you pick up the speed, but its not all that loud. I am generally pretty sensitive to noise and as I ride I'm never bothered by the noise level so I think its pretty good.
As for fit it was a little tight when I got it ( I bought a medium as that's what the size chart said I should) but after a few hours of use it doesn't feel so tight anymore, in fact I really don't notice the helmet as I ride. Seems to be true to size.
Only thing I don't like is the bit Bell logo right on the forehead but that's simply because I have quite the black theme going on (bought a dark tinted visor to go with it).

Love this helmet!
What a great helmet for such a reasonable price! I think this is one of the very few if not only Snell rated helmets available in this price range.
Quick change visor is super convenient
Can actually feel air moving through the many vents
Very slick looking
Rectangular rings for securing helmet under the chin feel like they're cutting into my neck if I don't adjust them to sit just so
Bell logos all over
Overall a great helmet for the price. I'm a happy camper!

This helmet is awsome.
I was wearing a Bell Pit Boss helmet and got tired of the wind trying to rip my head off at higher speeds. So I did some research on some full face helmets. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I knew I'd have to fork out some decent cash for a good helmet. The Bell Vortex fit the bill. Tons of features, good looks (I got the matt black), and Snell rated, at an affordable price. I wasn't sure what size I needed, so I emailed Revzilla and gave them my head measurement (22 inches). I got a response the next day with a complete explanation about the sizing and fit. Sure enough, they recommended the small, and it fits perfectly. I didn't realize riding could be so pleasant now that I have a superb helmet. Reading other reviews I noticed the only drawback was it's loud. At first it did seem a bit loud but as I rode it I got used to it and it was no big deal. I did however seal the holes that lead to the rear ear vents with black silicon, and what a huge difference it made. Simple fix. This helmet is well worth the money, top notch quality, and great customer service from Revzilla!

Not Too Shabby
The design is what drew me in and with the Snell and DOT approval on top of a good price it seemed like a smart purchase. I usually wear a medium but once I broke this helmet in it became a little too large. My Shoei GT Air is a medium and fits so much more snug than this. At speed when I do head checks it seems like it may slip on me. Air flow is great. The anti fogging lenses work flawlessly. A little louder than I'd like but not overwhelming. I'm constantly getting compliments. It looks pretty awesome. Not a bad helmet but Bell's just don't fit me quite as well as other brands.
