Bell Vortex Attack Helmet

The Attack Helmet sports another military inspired graphic in the Bell Vortex Helmet line. This graphic is available either in gray scale or red/white/gray and features raised graphics along the seam lines. Bold stripes along the back of this helmet serve a dual purpose as a design element and to boost visibility via their reflectivity. Bell Vortex Helmets provide a lot of value for your dollar because they are packed with features also seen in their big brother the Star. Check out the features listed below and you will see why these helmets are the complete package.

Our Opinion of the The Bell Vortex Helmet

The Bell Vortex Helmet has grown to be one of the top selling and more ubiquitous ~$200 sport helmets in the RevZilla family. The light weight, Snell Rating and ability to use the Bell Photochromic shield allow the Bell Vortex Helmet to cover a lot of the bases the typical sport or track day rider is looking for in a reasonably priced helmet. Many times we see this type of functionality only available in helmets over the $300 mark. In the 3/4 or tuck position the Bell Vortex Helmet will provide a great solution in just about any spirited or sport riding scenario. If you find a graphic or color that suits your taste and you have an intermediate oval head shape, the Bell Vortex is a great option.

Great for the price! I combined it with my bike thats dressed in lucky strike. Looks awesome together Good helmet.....its quite big but good for the price. August 5, 2013
Most impressive. I'm very impressed with the quality and fit. View is average or slightly better side-to-side, but outstanding out the bottom, where I can see my tank mounted instruments without ducking my head (usually) while on my cruiser. Magnetic strap holder is maybe gimicky, but works well. A bit noisy at the top vents, even when closed, but not annoying at all and I have already tuned it out. All vents work very well. Chin curtain comes installed and is removable like the liner. The paint job looks GREAT. the small reflective strips on front and back do reflect, but not like, say, Scotchlite. Friends say it's reasonably noticeable on the road, but not as much at a glance as solid white (I'll take that for how awesome it looks). Visor is extremely good quality, and has not fogged on me yet. Wish the visor tab was a little bigger. Balances well, not too heavy. Doesn't do weird things when I turn my head, and the chin doesn't jut out and hit my shoulders. July 22, 2013
Great Looking Helmet Love the way this helmet looks and feels. a bit loud at speed. But other then that feels good on my head and vents well. July 18, 2013
Solid helmet at a solid price. Was debating between this and the AGV K3, but in the end the features on this helmet and airflow sold it for me. Intermediate Oval means it fits a bit closer to my nose and chin than my old Seven Zero Seven from Cyclegear, which makes my nose rub occasionally on the breath guard. Bit of dense foam fixed that problem. Ventilation kept the sweat and fogging at bay during a rain storm I was stuck in for several hours without allowing water into the helmet. It did finally fog after the 2nd hour or so when I was pretty warm waiting at the lights. Only complaint I have is the helmet doesn't perfectly fit the shape of my head like the Seven Zero Seven did. The nose guard combined with slightly thin padded for the top of the head let the helmet grind on those parts a bit in the first week, but now broken in I don't even notice those fit problems. Sizing is a bit small to me. My old helmet was a medium and this one is a large. Make sure you measure your head and go by manufacturer's charts. Visibility is excellent. Took the helmet to a track, an even though I only keep a single right-hand 3" street fighter mirror on my bar-end, I was able to see a faster bike coming in on my tail from the left while still focusing on the track. pretty good helmet looks great and has pretty good safety chops but it fits large and is round. i have a L head and this thing makes me look like a bobble head, not too sure how my neck would fare in a dump with a giant helmet... great helmet though for the right person i probably just get the wrong helmet for Me April 29, 2013
Amazing helmet worth every penny. This is my second helmet Ive purchased and first from revzilla. I just want to start off saying that the helmet has an amazing design. The picture doesn't even compare to seeing it in person. It is a little tight when trying I first put it on but you get use to it. The noise level is decent. This is my main helmet now, and I feel is worth every dollar. April 23, 2013
nice helmet all around Pretty nice helmet for the price. A bit on the loud side. March 29, 2013
Your money well spend! This helmet fits nice! Snug fit. The chart indicates the sizes very well. The painting is very impresive and quality material. Eye for details. The airflow is very good at speeds 50 mph and up. Little bit loud, but you can not buy a better helmet for this price. I recommend this helmet. A must have! March 25, 2013
