Astars Monster Energy GP-M: Love this Jacket This is an excellent jacket. Alpinestars did it again! Buy quality brands, receive quality products. I love the Monster logos and it really helps set the jacket off. The perforation is great, and allows a lot of airflow. The white leather helps keep the temps down also. I'm 6'0 185lbs and the 52 fits great. A little tight, but that's the point right? Takes a little getting use to as I have not worn a race fit style jacket before. The neck area is tight when zipped up all the way and the strap is on. The material is heavy, so I would feel comfortable knowing that this jacket is well built if I go down. Upon receiving the jacket, I immediately purchase the Bio-Armor back piece and would suggest everyone do that. The foam insert provided is more of a placeholder, until you purchase the Bio-Armor. Everyone loves this jacket and I get compliments all the time. I would recommend buying this jacket. May 13, 2013
Very well made and very cool! After reading some reviews on here, I decided to order 2 sizes larger than what the chest measurement size chart recommended and this jacket is still pretty tight. I'm all for aerodynamics and don't want my jacket flapping in the wind but just like the alpinestars gloves I reviewed here, their sizing chart must be made by short people. I'm 6'2, 180...not fat by any means and this thing hugs you like a dependent leather midget! Manuverability is forgiving thanks to the neoprene in the inner elbows, shoulderblades, and armpits. The CE pads are placed very well out of the box and the Monster graphics look SICK! For some reason however, the front zipper is on the left side of the jacket..not a deal breaker. Two zippered outside pockets, left inside has double stacked velcro pockets and one zippered pocket, right inside has one larger velcro pocket. It's quite comfortable and have not ridden with it yet but I'm sure it will be comfy and definitely a head-turner! Oh and I just noticed right now that the "Alpinestars" wording on the lower back and the neck collar are reflective which is an added plus in my book! I'm glad I spent the cheddar on it but beware of the small sizing. April 2, 2013

Answer: 
The Alpinestars GP-M Leather Jacket does have a 360 degree zipper that will allow it to connect to selected Alpinestars leather and textile pants. Whether or not this jacket is track legal will depend on the Sanctioning Body of the track event. Please contact them for confirmation.
