This is the second GP Tech I have owned the first is a limited edition Dreamtime. I really like that helmet but I didn't want to abuse the interior with more sweat, since i moved to Arizona. This Five Continents is a few years newer and it fits great, the liner is just a bit more comfortable the mechanisms are smoother the fit a bit more comfortable but still not loose. In all just a great helmet from AGV. The colors pop more than in the pictures, which I like, if you are wearing a helmet like this you want to be seen. The vents move enough air to notice the change and changing the shield is easy.

I'll break down why I selected the values I did above, but first off, I want to say I LOVE this helmet! It is the third high end helmet I've bought, and it is my 2nd AGV helmet (the last being a ti-tech). I was amazed at the improvements made in contrast to the ti-tech. This company is definitely moving forward!
•BANG FOR THE BUCK: I got this lid with 200 bucks off, can't complain! THANKS REVZILLA!
•STYLE: Everything from shape to graphics exudes flare and definitely catches eyes & turns heads.
•COMFORT: After break-in (it starts off rather snug - i got a small after wearing a small ti-tech for years) the helmet is comfortable enough to take a nap in. Internals are very well-made. Improvements in the cloth of cheek pads and inner lining in addition to the slimmed-down, non-intrusive neck roll have increased comfort (in the past I found neck rolls to be too fat / long, obstructing head entry and rubbed excessively when head checking). AGV has addressed this in this model.
•PROTECTION AND DURABILITY: Solidly made, the only things I'm wary of is the suede-like material that line the internals of the shell near the mouth (it also coats and accents neck roll and straps) - this material usually ends up frayed in older helmets. While it is new, it's fantastic, time will tell if this happens to this helmet: at the moment it's grand. I have a feeling that the extension where the small button clasp for the strap after d-ring entry resides may grow weak over time (it's made of the suede aforementioned), but the d-rings and straps will endure no problem, so this is pretty minor in my opinion, but deserves mention if you've experienced the fraying I'm talking about.
•AIR FLOW: It's rather breezy, I have a lot of hair, so I don't notice a lot of top head flow, but my it doesn't bake in the helmet, so I can't complain. Facial airflow is generous. In my experience, Arai's patented brow vents are untouchable, but the venting in the gp tech is comparable, if you keep in mind that brow vents are reserved for arai.
•FEATURES: love the shape of the helmet, the grooves in the shell make it the most stable lid I've experienced at speed. Even turning your head meets very little resistence. I have no idea how AGV designed a helmet with such fantastic stability...this is the first thing I noticed and was very impressed. Other subtleties are phenomenal: painted vents, internal embroidery of the AGV logo, and the ability to vent the face shield via a small switch are just some of the fine touches that I appreciate.

I was worried that an online purchase of a helmet with out test fitting would result in returns but by using their size guide the helmet arrived and fit perfectly. Great looking light helmet that performs at the top.

I had previously been an Arai-only wearer and after going through a couple of those I wanted to try something different. Arai makes an amazing lid, very comfortable, light, good engineering, great graphics, but you pay dearly for the privilege of owning one. $900 for a Corsair V? I believe my head is worth at least 10x that, but c'mon Arai!
Arai was always a second first choice but there are zero local dealers where I live but I finally decided to trust my finicky noggin to online measurements and order the AGV. I normally take a Medium Arai Profile shell with a small interior and +1 cheek pads, but the Medium AGV GP-Tech fit me perfectly right out of the box. My initial impression was that the AGV was far stiffer on the inside than my Arais ever had been, but this will soften over time. The lid also wants to be worn high on the head with the chin bar in front of your chin and not below it. Wearing in this way greatly improves the vision, especially when tucked behind the windscreen. That was never a problem with my Arai, which preferred to be worn a little lower on the face.
Graphics, fit and finish are outstanding. The interior is stunning and must be seen.
All in all, a great lid, a worthy competitor to any Arai.

don't have second thoughts just go for it. it is a great helmet. fits wells and looks good with flashy cool graphics. yes the sound can be heard and it isnt quiet but it isn't as bad as it could be. all in all a great buy.

Was very torn between Arai Corsair V and AGV GP Tech. Look and graphics are fantastic, helmet is snug and fits well (might be a little smaller cut than Arai's sizes) - had Arai for my entire life +20 years. Weight is light, doesn't wobble at high speeds compared to previous Hayden Arai RX-Q7. Overall very pleased so far....price value seems definitely well worth it, great helmet for great price. Only thing I have to get used to is the clip for the chinstrap is different than on the Arai (separate strap). Slight negative is that my head is fairly long and my chin seems awfully close to the rim of the helmet. Inside material seems to be high end, also love the material around the neck, protecting from air when riding (and keeping noise reduced). Overall great purchase and I highly recommend it. FETCH IT WHILE U CAN!

This year I decided to get a new helmet since I got bored with my Celebr8 K3. I was looking to get a a high end helmet this time, and Shoei and AGV were my choices since I dont like Arai fit and style. From Shoei, the RF 1100 (M) was the better fit, but when I put the GP Tech (S) on my head then I knew thats the helmet I want. Is a very light weight helmet (about 3lbs) and the quality of the paint is top notch. The inside padding feels soft, and the snug fit gives you a safe feeling ( 5* SHARP rated too ). It has a wide vision and the visor is so easy to change. Very good ventilation, quiet and easy to operate the vents with gloves on. Definitely a high quality helmet for the price I paid, thank you Revzilla, especially Barry :)

"GP Tech and Ti-Tech helmets are warrantied for 2 years from date of purchase or 3 years from the manufacture date: which ever comes first. Warranty coverage for all other models have a 1 year warranty from date of purchase and 3 years from manufacture date."
