The AGV AX-8 EVO Naked Carbon Fiber Helmet is the street version of the AX-8 DS EVO, but with a full carbon fiber chassis and no peak. By removing the peak, you reduce drag.
Less drag x less weight = ∞ fun.
The AGV AX-8 EVO Naked features internal padding with increased thickness for improved comfort and greater stability. The carbon fiber shell construction makes for an extremely light weight helmet and the shape for the outer shell in the chin area combined with a wider and softer base edge reduces interference with any back protector used and decreases risks of impact traumas, thanks to its "shock-absorber" function.
Carbon fiber shell construction
IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) funnels air though channels in the outer shell
Flat face shield in non-scratch, antifog polycarbonate
Dry-Lex internal padding with sanitized treatment
Removable and washable cheekpads and internal lining
AX8 Evo Naked Carbon
I like it. The lightest full face I have. Excellent vision range. A snug fit but it likely won't come off in a crash. The carbon finish and MX style chin bar are very trick. Add the smoke shield and it's an impressive lid.
Revzilla is outstanding. They are great to get your gear from.

Worth every penny!
As advertised, this helmet is very light and the vision is exceptional, like you're not wearing a helmet. Air flow is very good and overall it is quiet. Style...the "coolest" helmet on the market. Padding is excellent and comfortable. Only one minor complaint, there is a slight whistle at the top of the visor. I ordered the smoke visor and hopefully it will seal better. If not, I'll attempt to adjust.

John f: a deer jumped in front of me and i went down hard, i got a concussion but the helmet took the worst of the hit and saved my life. the visor didn't serve a purpose for me so i decided to go with the naked version but the matte is a little too plain so i decided to go with the carbon. my last ax-8 weighed nearly nothing so the little bit of weight reduction isn't really a factor, just a bonusNov 29, 2014
A shopper asked:Can you throw a peak on here with those holes?Nov 20, 2014
John C:The actual helmet doesn't have the holes as the helmet in Revzilla's pics portray (I bought the helmet about a month ago). I reached out to AGV directly to inquire about if there were different versions of the helmet made and they said the Carbon was never made with the holes for the peak...too bad!Dec 8, 2014
landon p asked:I have a size large Icon Mainframe from 2008. That's the only size comparison I currently have to go off. Do you have any recommendations what size would work for me with a AGV AX-8 Evo Naked Carbon Helmet? What about thoughts on if I add the SENA SMH 10R Bluetooth system and how much that will affect the ear fit?Feb 28, 2015
Paul D:I have the AX8 Naked Carbon helmet size large. My head measures 23 1/2" around. The fit is snug. But from my years of road racing and drag racing that is the way I want it. It probably will not come off in a crash, which I have seen happen many many times. My AGV Corsa fits right about the same. This Evo is easily the lightest helmet I have, so I'll likely wear it a lot. Adding some kind of sound system will make things even tighter I think. I don't use that stuff. I concentrate on and enjoy the ride.Feb 28, 2015
james v:If you wear a large icon this helmet will fit about the same in a large but they have replacement padding if it doesn't fit to you perfectly. I have mounted a smh10r on my helmet and mounting the speakers behind the padding didn't change the feeling of the helmet at all and the speakers are more than loud enough even at highway speeds.Feb 28, 2015
John C:I owned an ICON Monster Helmet size "Large" and had to purchase a size XL AGV AX-8 Evo Naked Carbon Helmet.
I have a few AGV helmets and none of them have a cut-out in the area of the ear, so unless you do some cutting of your own, you'll likely have fitment issues with the ear speakers of the SENA Bluetooth system.Mar 1, 2015
james v:It's a great street riding the helmet doesn't block your peripheral vision much airflow is great. Keep in mind a smoked visor is about 80 bucks the clear visor that comes with it isn't the best esthetically, may just be my preference. It is a bit loud but I prefer a louder helmet, it may be a fault if you ride a longer distance. But overall it is a fantastic helmet and I would recommend it to any of my friends.Jan 22, 2015
S M:Yes I think it is the perfect helmet for street riding, the field of vision is probably the best you will see out of a street helmet and it is very light which are two key ingredients for urban riding. Jan 22, 2015
S M:Hello, yes I have worn the Rossi Turtle Corsa and they both feel very similar and very comfortable when slip on the helmet. I am very please with my Evo naked carbon, it is beautiful yet very aggressive looking.
Do you have this helmet in ML size or is it only on the old size nomenclature? I would be on the ML category according to the AGV site. I use L size on Nolan and Airoh Helmets, would L size fit me on this model? Another thing, in the AGV site the helmet is named Fury Carbon and has a camo pattern on it. Does this model has the same graphic on it or is it a different model since the picture doesn't show any graphic. Thanks.Feb 16, 2015
I would like to know if this is the Fury Carbon Black color which has some kind of graphic over the carbon fiber since it's the only model on the AGV website but the picture here shows only the carbon fiber finish. So, is this an older/different version?
On the other hand, the sizes here show S, M ,L and the AGV website has the new sizes MS, ML, L. I use L size from Nolan and Airoh helmnets and fit well, also in other AGV reviews the recomendation is to go a size up. In the AGV sizing chart I will be on around ML or maybe L, Is it ok to get the L size? If not, do you have the ML size in stock?
