Perfect urban, hot-weather boot. Vegan!

Being a strict vegetarian (vegan), I looked long and hard for a protective, non-leather boot. Until I saw the Slash, I feared I'd end up buying something that made me look like a robot. It's more than I wanted to spend but I can't argue with the quality. Unlike Puma's shoes, these have solid ankle protectors. The sole, heel, and toe are strong as hell, the Lorica is durable and moves well, and the mesh flows a TON of air--fantastic for east coast summers. They're comfortable, easy to slip on and off, and won't attract weird looks when you're walking downtown. The only issue I ran into was with sizing... I wear a 9 (US) in most brands and first ordered the 43 (Euro). I quickly discovered they were too loose but RevZilla gladly exchanged them for a size 42, which fit perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase.

Cool Ride

Very nice boot and like a few of the other comments a little tricy to get on because of the height of the heel cup - just keep a shoehorn near the closet and they slide right on. Very well ventilated for warmer temperatures. A little pricy for what you get and I kind of like the real leather as opposed to the "other" leather for more flexibility.

LOVE these boots!

I accidentally ordered the wrong size, but Revzilla exchanged them for the proper size without any fuss, and these are totally awesome boots. I honestly have nothing bad to say about them. They're comfortable, they breathe, and damn they look good.

Perfection

These boots are perfection. Yes, the price-tag is steep, but well worth it. Perfect for summer. Something I didn't appreciate on the internet was that the area between the leather is a type of synthetic meshwork. It assures that there is no bunching up of material over your joints that can cause annoying pain during long rides. Overall, protection is satisfactory when compared to a proper riding boot, but for a riding shoe they are superior. I had originally bought the Sidi Doha, and returned them upon arrival. I felt they were stylish, but too little for too much when it came down to it. These guys are worth every pretty penny.

Every Day

Great boots! Very easy to get on and off. They look great around town, cafe, lounge and in meetings. Comfortable to wear walking and hanging out.

Great Qulaity Boot!

This is an great riding boot. I wear a size 11 and have a slightly wide foot, so I was concerned about the euro widths. I must say that it does fit good and true to size. These also vent air very well on hot days and the quality of the Sidi product is excellent. I also bought the Sidi Discovery Rain for those long journeys, also a size 11.
