Sidi, continuously researching new technological solutions to enhance rider safety, is proud to present the Discovery Rain boot. With Sidi’s great style, feel, support and quality there are no finer performance off roador dual sport boots in the world.

Non-Bootie Designs: Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome; add to the boot’s thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the rider’s performance and comfort.

Buckles: Sidi’s exclusive cam-lock buckle system is acknowledged as the finest system on the planet. It must be as most of Sidi’s competitors have attempted to copy various aspects of it. The cam-lock buckle system incorporates a strap memory retention system. Adjust the straps once and they will be at the same position for every ride after that! No more readjusting for every ride or mid-day during a ride.

Heat Shields: Each Sidi boot is equipped with an anti-heat undressed leather protection panel at the same height of most motorcycle’s exhaust heat shields.

Replaceable Parts: Every bolt on component of each Sidi off road boot is available separately. Riders can change the various components to replace items that have worn or have been damaged in a crash or to make a custom colored boot to match his/her personal taste.

Composite Insole: A cushioned liner is provided that can be removed if the rider desires a more roomy fit. Sidi does not use steel shanks riveted to its insole like most manufactures, details such as this enable Sidi boots to enjoy a multi year service life versus the competitors multi month lifespan as over time, a steel shank can deteriorate, rust and fracture exposing the rider to injury.

Lining: Cambrelle is a lining that, due to its particular polyimide structure, guarantees a rapid drying rate after the boot gets wet or sweaty. This prevents the onset of mold forming which extends the boots lifespan dramatically. The Teflon treated mesh panels in the rear calf area of the boot allow humidity to escape while the boot is in use.

I have used SIDI products for many years and these boots did not let me down! Comfort right out of the box with no pinching or sore spots. I have used "Seam Seal" on the welt to insure the water integrity. I love the clips instead of Velcro which wears out to rapidly. The soles are made of a material that to grips the pavement when I stop with no slipping like other harder soles, Riding in the rain with dry feet, shifting ease, riding comfort, immediate use from the box, nothing else I've tried comes close to these boots! Thank you Revzilla for fast easy service, the best yet!

Great fitting boot. I normally wear a 10.5 US as long as they are wide in the toe box. I ordered 11 US online and they were too big. After calling support they suggested 44 EUR. The fit was perfect!

Great boot for on and off road. Broke in quickly in about 300 miles on the TAT in AR/OK. Waterproof and comfortable. Only wish they were a little taller in the calf but would highly recommend to anyone planning an adventure ride (not for MX).

I wore the Discoveries on my 7-month 30,000km Canada to Panama trip. Glad I had them, they were comfortable enough to wear all day on the bike, and just fine for walking around.
Yes they're hot. They are tall leather motorcycle boots. Deal with it.

The waterproofing can be improved, I used nickwax to seal around the welt (stitching) and to treat the leather/fake leather.

The boots are very hard wearing, the sole is still holding up and the buckles and stitching are fine. The metal toe tips make noise when you walk and one segment broke off like a missing tooth. The velcro strap at the top is delaminating.
Nothing that can't be repaired.

I found the initial fit to be loose, but with thick footbeds and a pair of wool socks the fit was fine. After a long day of riding I'm glad for the extra room.

Only downside to the boot is the soft ankle support. This makes walking easier, but dosen't inspire too much confidence on the trail.

Overall I'm happy, not in the market for new boots anytime soon

AWESOME boot..but the smallest size is half a size too big...because they do not make it any smaller than 8.5.
I have pretty big feet, but being a woman..(women's size 9) I need can wear men's size 8. Why no women's sizes???????

i have wide feet but they fit me perfectly. I researched thoroughly before I bought and I'm 100% happy with the choice. More comfortable than the new Adventure Rain with less ankle protection. To me it was a fair trade-off.

Size - I wear size 11.5 (u.s.) with the following shoes: Asics and Nike running shoes, Merrell hiking boots, Adidas tennis shoes, and Bates military suede boots. Size 10.5 (u.s.) Converse All-Stars (chuck's)

I have 11.5 (u.s.) / 46 (euro) Sidi Discovery's and fit perfectly.

Comfort - The comfort of these boots are extraordinary. Breaking-in the leather took little time. These boots don't feel bulky and heavy. They are light on the feet and are not very restrictive in foot or ankle movement, just enough to feel protected.

I primarily use these boots for commuting to work and weekend runs on my BMW12GS. Shifting gears with these boots is not a problem with the OEM shift arm/pegs on my motorcycle. I did get a chance to ride in the rain with these boots and my feet stayed dry.

I wear Revit Sand riding pants, sometimes tucked in or over the boot, no problems there. It's difficult to get jeans or Dickies type work pants over the boots, but it's doable, better to tuck them in the boots intead.

I had a hard time choosing between the Dsicovery and the Adventure. Considering I dont do that much trail, I chose the Discovery and glad I did,. The Disco is an awesome boot - the fit is really if a little loose, as I'm between sizes and I chose to go the next size up to save pinching. The boot is typical Sidi quality - everything works and works well, the stitching is excellent, and the overall finish is top class. I have not ridden them in the rain yet, so cant comment on the waterproofness (is that a word?). This boot is extremely comfortable, and I can walk in them all day without they are that comfortable. I highly recommend these boots.

I love these boots my only concern is although the leather is nice and thick I wonder how they will hold up to an direct hit at the ankle bone. Otherwise extremely happy with them have not worn in rain yet so I can not comment on how well they hold up to H2O
I do wish the toe caps screwed in on top as well as the bottom I use these for commuting and the metal is slippery on asphalt.
