When I dropped and cracked my old helmet, I had to quickly pick something up to get by. I wish now that I'd shopped around more, otherwise I never would have spent even the $130 I paid for this helmet. I picked up an XL because the L was painful to wear, but the pads broke down quickly and wind would move the helmet too much. I've replaced the XL pads with the L, and at least have the fit closer. Unfortunately even with a set of foam earplugs, I've still got ringing in my ears after a half hour freeway commute.
I'm not going to even start with the "anti-fog" visor. My first visor was so bad I took it back a couple weeks later, thinking it was defective. Unfortunately because its billed as fog free, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of fog city / pinlock / etc. support. I spent most of the winter with the visor open one notch until I got up to ~70 where the wind would close it.

I had an accedent with an EXO750 helmet and i cant say i would have made it if i had this or another "Plastic Shell" helmet. Read my review on that on. Anyway. this helmet seems to fit smaller that the 750. i cant say i feel safe riding at speeds over 35-40 due to my knowledge of what hight speed head impacts do to kevlar type helmets such as the 750. So really just use this helmet as grocery getter or a cruizing helmet not for highway or byway use.

Great helmet for the price. The only thing to watch out for is the antifog coating on the inside of visor,You cant clean it with anything but a dry microfiber cloth, I used water and a cloth after only having it for a week and I destroyed it. Luckily Revzilla worked with me through the whole process. Definetly recommend the helmet and revzilla.

I have owned this helmet for about a year. It was good for a first helmet for my cruiser, but I am longing to move on. The helmet is slightly heavy, but what do you expect from a Snell certified helmet?
Air flow is terrible! I can roll at 65 mph and not be able to tell if the vents are all open or closed. There is no difference. It makes my head hot.
Optics quality is good. The fit runs a but small.
If anyone is looking at this helmet make sure that you are alright with limited airflow and the weight. I think there are better helmets in this price range to be had.

My head is measured at 23 1/4" and I ordered the XL and it fits great. Not too tight and no where close to being lose. Has the standard strap buckle with a button on the end to clip on. The vents are good and provide great air flow.
Great starter helmet or back up for a passenger, can't go wrong with this for the price.

I bought the Exo-400 partly because it was a closeout item for less than $50, but also because I wanted to be able to purchase extra faceshields, liners and cheekpads. For the price I paid I guess it's a good buy, but when it comes time to remove the liner and cheekpieces for cleaning or replacement it doesn't feel like much of a bargain. Getting the parts out of the helmet is easy, cleaning them is easy too. But when it comes time to reinstalle them, not so easy at all. The fog-reducing faceshield also doesn't do much more than make it difficult to clean the inside of the shield using regular methods, the inside surface isn't smooth and you can't help but leave lint on the shield even with a good microfiber towel. The wind noise in this helmet is very high, and the venting is quite poor. I would only recommend the Exo-400 as a backup or rarely used helmet.
