This product was out of stock for six months on my order. I waited, and when it finally came back online I got a call from the sales rep asking if I still wanted it.
Best non race jacket on the market. I would suggest that if your body shape is not slim to athletic the fit may be a bit constricting.
The quality is superb. The interior removable seasonal liners take a bit of thought to get them back together again.
Yes, I'll agree that a jacket of this level does not have sufficient pockets. And a scarf might help around the collar.
I'm extremely happy with this Scorpion jacket!

The XDR is excellent. It stripped down and vented for hot summer riding. Rain layer works perfect. Winter lining is snug and warm. The fit is like a glove. Flexable yet tight. It handles high speed wind great. Best cycle jacket with the leather and protection that riders want in a jacket. All weather excellence!

like some of the others reviewing this jacket I also have the pants. I have this set for winter weather riding and its awesome! I agree with those above in that the neck does not have enough wind protection, the waist is huge, and the styling is a bit over the top. Its interesting too that the wrists are tapered which makes tucking your gloves into your sleeves difficult if not impossible. I still love this jacket and for the price its really hard to beat.

Absolutely love this jacket. I wear it everyday rain or shine, or freezing cold winds. I live in NYC as a commuter and I've taken this jacket (along with the Awe pants) to hell and back. From torrential rains to 10 degree nights with windchills down to the negatives.
With a T shirt, you can easily survive 20 degree days. With a thermal layer ive hit the single digit nights with out any problems. However the collar leaves much to be desired. In howling winds its only good use is to keep your own scarf or neck gaiter in place. For your regular 40s its fine though.
I have an athletic build, and I wear a size small. Its a tad bit snug, but my main gripe is how generous the waist line is. The size small is big enough for a 5'6" person with a large beer belly.
Also IT DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH POCKETS!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE MORE POCKETS!!!!
Other then that, if you can afford it GO FOR IT.
Pros Rugged, Comfortable, Fashionable, Great Armor
Cons too generous in the waist, Not enough protection around collar form wind, Not enough pockets

I didn't pay much attention to the size guide--save for a cursory glance--but based my size off a former jacket I had tried on (the Commander) by Scorprion. Fits great for a slim 6'3" guy--especially with the adjustable side. Finally got to test it in the Seattle rain and it thus far has held its own. Great thing about this jacket also is not just the gaiter cufffs, but the jacket is damn warm. Have done several rides around town in just a t-shirt in mid 40s weather. Have only rated four stars because it is still new haven't been through the brunt of the weather quite yet. Arrived in timely fashion.
Pros Fashionable, Comfortable

Just like to update my previous review-Rode in 20 degree weather-several hours(that's at least 10 below with windchill)This combo performed flawlessly-kept me PLENTY warm.Only wore a T-shirt underneath.Great products both-thanks again Revzilla for the great handling and shipping of my order(got rid of ALL my other jackets and pants).Take care-ride safe all.

Just received my XDR Shock Jacket.Again,like the XDR AWE pants, fit excellent right off.Has the zipper for attaching jacket to pants-no sewing required.Only thing I did for myself on this was to attach three small velcro squares onto the strap(adhesive type)that adjusts the waist tension.I'm narrow in the waist,and this addition tightened it up fine for me-no hassle at all.Other than that-this coat is gonna be perfect.It's tough,yet comfy.Neck adjusters work fine,and if I fall,I KNOW this baby will protect me.BYE BYE leathers.Looks the BIZ-really well styled.VERY SATISFIED.Excellent shipping as well-Revzilla has it DOWN-I recommend this jacket,AWE pants and Revzilla A+.Thanks for another great experience-sincerely,Monty
