This bag has proven to be a great purchase! Even though, the very first time I opened the zipper separating the bottom and top sections the zipper pull broke. I was somewhat hesitant to request a replacement bag as I was concerned that my experience was reflective of the overall quality of Rapid Transit bags. I was happy I requested another bag! The second bag had no problems with the zipper and it has turned out to be a fantastic bag with plenty of usable storage space. The numerous pockets allow you to store all the little "stuff" we all like to carry with us, for even the short trips, but especially a longer trip. The bag is quite cavernous and has enough storage for an overnight trip. Please bear in mind that keeping the bottom section of the bag full provides stability for the top section of the bag. I actually use the bag as a tail bag. The number of "D" rings on the bag allows you great flexibility and versatility in attaching the bag securely to your bike. I like the quality, fit and finish on the bag so much that I am considering their Recon 77 Sidebags. Highly recommended!!!

This tank bag is a large tank bag. If you’re doing any long distance riding the optional hydro pack is a wonderful thing 2liters of liquid will keep you from getting dehydrated between fuel stops. The map pocket on the top bag is a bit on the small side but if you just running around a 50 mile circle it will do the job. The only downfall of the bag that I’ve found so far is if you don’t have the bottom bag packed full the whole thing flops around on your tank. It’s not bad but it does get annoying after a while.

The Rapid Transit Stack LT is a great bag. My friends bought the Recon 19 and loved it for daily commuting. I use the stack for both daily commuting and the short trips I can handle without excessive luggage. The bottom of the stack is great for daily commutes and short trips. I installed a Power-let luggage outlet that I use for my phone/gps. To avoid having my phone slip and slide in the map pocket I put in velcro and have an alternative cell phone case with a velcro back. For longer trips I use the "stack" and I just route my phone cable from the bottom to the cell phone holder. The bag is very adaptable as-is, but ca easily have additions/modifications for those who like to tour. I have an extra large gel hydropack that fits comfortably in the top half. All of my bungee cords, luggage/backpack straps, tools, and various zombie apocalypse survival needs fit into the bag just well and do not get in my way. I ride a Ducati Monster 620 and an older gen Ninja 250, both don't have me leaned over the gas tank but not entirely upright either.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I've love my rapid transit Stack LT. It has a very tough design. Tons of pockets and is very well tought out. The magnets hold (even heavy touring loads) at high speed and including a hydration system is wonderful for touring and being able to drink water without stopping.
Pros strong magnets, very well thought out design, tons of pockets, hydration system ready, Rugged, Fashionable, Comfortable
Cons could be a bit wider, top map window is a little small, does not include hydration system, Cramped
Yes, I recommend this product.
