An excellent choice for my BMW R1200GS!
I shopped around alot for just the right tank bag for an '06 R1200GS that I'd just purchased. I settled on the Giant Loop Fandango because of the intermediate size, materials and quality of construction, the fit and ease of moving it for filling the gas tank, the internal divider, and there's no need for an extra rain cover. My tank is black, gray and silver, so I opted for the gray color. It was among the more expensive bags, but worth it, I think.

Large, Attractive, and Simple.
This bag is a great value. It has a very "clean" look with no tacky logos, materials, or textures. The big open compartment is great for larger items. The clear top is excellent for any items that you want to keep visible while riding. The zip-off top is convenient when refueling or leaving your bike unattended. the only drawback is that the customer/consumer must waterproof the seams if he or she wants a 100% waterproof bag. I highly recommend this bag for anyone looking for a simple tank bag solution.

nice bag - almost excellent
Had a magnetic tank bag that didn't like to stay on the tank on the freeway so I was looking for a better mounting system. The Fandango mount is a little intrusive with all the straps, but it's definitely secure and the bag zips on and off easily. Well thought out design. A little expensive for what it is. Like most other reviewers I would have preferred the bag to come 100% waterproof vs. shipping seam sealer with the bag. Would have given it 5 stars except for that issue. Haven't had it long enough to judge durability but it looks very well made and should be with me a long time.

Nice basic waterproof bag
I was looking for a basic waterproof tank bag for my F650GS (single) which does not require a separate raincover and which would fasten securely to my plastic (faux) tank. The Fandango appears to be very well made of excellent materials and the size is perfect. While I have not ridden in the rain yet, the bag looks like it should be fairly waterproof, with waterproof zippers and sealed seams. I wonder why the company chose to supply the sealer for user application rather than seal the seams with tape at the factory, as the tape is proven technology which in my experience works well in other outdoor applications. The strap on mount is very sturdy, but I am still fussing with it to get it to sit straight on the tank. I added some flat strap hooks which seem to work better on my bike than wrapping the straps around the frame.

Solid product and worth the money!
Previous reviews had indicated sealing the tank bag, so I went ahead and did it. I'm all about the waterproofing and I felt like after the seal, I could float on this thing. I picked up the orange version because I thought it would match my Tiger XC Orange. It really doesn't, but it looks good on the bike. So the seal thing... Why doesn't it come sealed? Nobody seems to have asked that question, but it bugs me that right out of the box, it needs to be sealed. Perhaps it's a money thing, but this competes with the Wolfman line, which are waterproof, so why wouldn't you do it. Anyway, I'm extremely happy with the purchase. It's just big enough and it does not hinder the handlebar and it's a quality product.

Well built bag
Smaller than other tank bags I have had, but it fits well and seems to be waterproof. Very easy to install and secure while riding in high winds. Best feature is ease of fueling...just unzip half the bag and flop it over. Fit my sport bike well.

Rock solid!
This is my first tank bag. I went with the GL Fandango because the mounting harness looked more robust than some of the others I considered (Wolfman, etc.). I also liked the non-conventional look of the Fandango; very “dual-sporty”. It’s got one large pocket, with an adjustable divider that separates a smaller area for cell phone, GPS, and similar items. The mounting harness has a cut-out for the gas filler cap, and unzipping the bag half-way and flipping it over allows for quick fill ups. It also zips completely off of the mounting harness quickly and acts as a carrying case. I have not had it out on any extended camping trips, but a few local commutes at highway speed revealed it is rock solid once mounted to the bike (it fits my 2007 BMW R1200R like it was made for it). The only inconvenience (but not much of one) is that it comes with a tube of outdoor grade seam seal, and you have to paint it on yourself if you want the extra water protection. Mounting the harness took only a few minutes, and a good careful coat of seam seal on the stitching about an hour. I think I’m going to be very happy with it!

Rugged and Functional
I usually buy things because they are tough, or extremely effective at what they do. This one is both. I originally bought it for a 7000 mile tour across the western US. It functioned flawlessly and held up to everything I threw at it. It kept everything dry, the zippers didn't start going haywire, had no problems with it coming loose. It will get pretty hot inside, so don't leave anything melt-able in there; it's best for phones, GPS, camera, ID, wallet, etc.
