Giant Loop Fandango Tank Bag
Good addition for adventure bikes
Excellent product which looks durable and provide easy access to fill up the tank.
The fitment in the KTM1190 Adv R is not 100% perfect but I can live with it. In the other hand the white version match perfectly with the bike colour which was one of the main reasons to buy it.
I am happy with it.

Good dual sport tank bag
Bought this to get ready for a TAT bid next year. I am a minimalist on my DRZ 400S, trying to keep it light as possible. Tank and tail bags are like a vacuum and they must fill themselves with something, so I avoid putting the on usually. The GL bag installed easily, fits the aftermarket larger tank pretty well, and for the most part I like the construction. Only thing I think is a little funky is the waterproofing you have to do yourself. They provide the seam sealer, which leaves a residue on the seams, making they look a little mickey moused. Haven't tested the waterproofness yet, but have some reservations. I bought the white bag to match my tank and because I wanted something a little different. I can feel the bag against my thighs when standing on the pegs, but that didn't surprise me as I got the larger of the two bags for the trip. Can't rate durability too much yet, but it stays in place well and seems like it will be durable.

read this before you install it
Do not install the tank bag without applying a vinyl protector on your tank first, you have to buy that separately of course. The thread stitching underneath the tank strap is really hard and sharp it scratched my tank all over when I was making adjustments. I wish I had realized that before.
The bag otherwise us really good. I wanted something that was minimal and waterproof-ish without needing a rain cover. I don't like the adventure bags that have five hundred different pockets that I never use. This only has one zip and that's it. There is a small divider on the inside so you can stash your phone away from the sharp keys and what nots. The main zip is very tough to operate in the cold though.
The bag, when necessary, detaches from the mounting strap in one fluid motion. 3 seconds at the most. And it installs just as quickly. GL really has designed this one right... Other than the tank scratching issue.

Great Looking bag
Well I purchased this Tank bag to replace my Cortech super mini on my F800GS. This bag fits really well. Its a little larger than I thought it would be but it has turned out to be really handy. The build quality is great, like many others would prefer it to be waterproof from the factory instead of having to seam seal it yourself.
All in all this bag does everything they say it will do.(and looks killer on the bike too)

Good, but could have been great.
I really like this bag, but I do have two peeves about this bag.
1. I had to seam seal it myself. Seriously??? If I wanted a cheap non waterproof bag, I'd have bought a Wolfman.
2. I'm not crazy about how maps get into the pocket. The entrance is small, so you basically have to scrunch it all up to get it in there. I'm not exactly sure how, but it seems like that could be better.
Aside from that I like the ruggedness of the bag. I really like that I can unzip half to fuel up, so I'm not an idiot and ride off leaving my bag (I've done it before).
Looking forward to a long life of use with this.

I put this on my KTM 525 and used it on a two month tour to Alaska. It works great and held up awesome I just wish it was truly waterproof.

Well made and simple! Two good attributes!
A robust, well made tank bag without all the extras...a good, simple tank bag! I also like the simple black design with conservative graphics and yellow interior makes locating items easy. No comments yet on water resistance. Oh yes....it's made in the US!

I was worried this tank bag would be to big, as the larger brother of the Giant Loop tank bags, but it is perfect for my needs. I will be traveling on a two week trip in Africa and needed space for my valuables, space to charge cameras, and all the etc. I fear the small one would have been WAY to small. I have taped my seams and really wish it could have come that way or maybe advised on which seems needed the liquid tape. I'm thinking not every seam needs the sealing. The directions say it needs 8-12 hours to dry, but it needed more like 15hrs for me and I am in a very low humidity area.
