Giant Loop Fandango Tank Bag
Great Looking bag
Well I purchased this Tank bag to replace my Cortech super mini on my F800GS. This bag fits really well. Its a little larger than I thought it would be but it has turned out to be really handy. The build quality is great, like many others would prefer it to be waterproof from the factory instead of having to seam seal it yourself.
All in all this bag does everything they say it will do.(and looks killer on the bike too)

Good, but could have been great.
I really like this bag, but I do have two peeves about this bag.
1. I had to seam seal it myself. Seriously??? If I wanted a cheap non waterproof bag, I'd have bought a Wolfman.
2. I'm not crazy about how maps get into the pocket. The entrance is small, so you basically have to scrunch it all up to get it in there. I'm not exactly sure how, but it seems like that could be better.
Aside from that I like the ruggedness of the bag. I really like that I can unzip half to fuel up, so I'm not an idiot and ride off leaving my bag (I've done it before).
Looking forward to a long life of use with this.

I put this on my KTM 525 and used it on a two month tour to Alaska. It works great and held up awesome I just wish it was truly waterproof.

Well made and simple! Two good attributes!
A robust, well made tank bag without all the extras...a good, simple tank bag! I also like the simple black design with conservative graphics and yellow interior makes locating items easy. No comments yet on water resistance. Oh yes....it's made in the US!

I was worried this tank bag would be to big, as the larger brother of the Giant Loop tank bags, but it is perfect for my needs. I will be traveling on a two week trip in Africa and needed space for my valuables, space to charge cameras, and all the etc. I fear the small one would have been WAY to small. I have taped my seams and really wish it could have come that way or maybe advised on which seems needed the liquid tape. I'm thinking not every seam needs the sealing. The directions say it needs 8-12 hours to dry, but it needed more like 15hrs for me and I am in a very low humidity area.

Looks sharp, would like to like it more!
I ended up with This GL Fandango in black after some excellent customer service from the Revzilla guys. Wanted a black one for my Orange Triumph Tiger XC but black was out of stock. Went with orange as I figured the tone on tone logo being darker would look O.K and blend with the Tiger orange.
When it arrived I was disappointed to see that GL had made a running change and the logo on the orange was now grey and I didn't like the look. At the same time I was notified the black color was back in stock via revzilla e-mail. Customer service guys were excellent in facilitating the return and exchange, even covering the return shipping due to the orange bag being different than images on the website caused by the running change by GL. That's some great customer service!! The Fandango looks great and fits the tiger well. Good size for say a camera, wallet sunglasses a spare pair of gloves, earplugs, and visor wipe etc. this is almost the Ideal tank bag. the zip off the base feature allows you to grab and go/take it with you for security or you could also just run a ski type cable lock through it. Easy to just unzip from the base 1/2 way to access the gas cap for filling, lots of good design here. A couple of things keep me from being totally happy with this bag though. First, I sure wish it was waterproof! they send a tube of seam sealer to seal it yourself but then discourage you from using it by saying it will affect the appearance as its best sealed from the outside so they suggest plastic bags for water sensitive items. The seam sealing needed is quite extensive and would include the clear map top cover and lots of interior seams that are not flat. This would be a major PITA. I have purchased a 10L drybag for my camera, phone, wallet, etc. and will get a sham wow to cut to fit the bottom to soak up water that gets in. oh well. The other thing that would make the Fandango ideal would be one or two smaller exterior pockets for earplugs, keys etc. This bag has a lot going for it design wise but it seems like GL are taking the easy way out by not waterproofing and not considering easy access for small items. I really wanted to give a rave review after the great service from Revzilla. Oh well the price was decent, and I'll make it work.

An excellent choice for my BMW R1200GS!
I shopped around alot for just the right tank bag for an '06 R1200GS that I'd just purchased. I settled on the Giant Loop Fandango because of the intermediate size, materials and quality of construction, the fit and ease of moving it for filling the gas tank, the internal divider, and there's no need for an extra rain cover. My tank is black, gray and silver, so I opted for the gray color. It was among the more expensive bags, but worth it, I think.

Large, Attractive, and Simple.
This bag is a great value. It has a very "clean" look with no tacky logos, materials, or textures. The big open compartment is great for larger items. The clear top is excellent for any items that you want to keep visible while riding. The zip-off top is convenient when refueling or leaving your bike unattended. the only drawback is that the customer/consumer must waterproof the seams if he or she wants a 100% waterproof bag. I highly recommend this bag for anyone looking for a simple tank bag solution.
