Puma Testastretta II Mid Boots

The PUMA Testastretta II Mid boot mixes the essence of PUMA and moto performance into a street-ready style. The Testastretta II Mid takes performance elements from MotoGP, using the looks of the vamp shiftguard, slider, heel counter and separate aluminum heel to bring authenticity to this moto sneaker. It also has a synthetic upper, injected EVA midsole for cushioning and an oil-resistant, non-slip rubber sole. Whether you're on a bike or on foot, this shoe is all about the motorsport lifestyle.

Stylish but tight I love the way these boots look, but the fit is a bit narrow and small. They do breath well and are very durable, but like I said, a bit on the uncomfortable side. Make sure to get these a size or two larger than you normally would May 13, 2013

Very comfortable shoes These shoes are really comfortable and super easy to put on. The protection is also there Now I chose the white which may not be the best choice since they will and do get dirty easily. Everything else is great just my logically the color white is a very easy color to get dirty. May 13, 2013

Awesome riding boot This boot looks great, wears well, and makes shifting easy. I wear it when I go out and don't feel like I'm wearing a riding boot. If they were waterproof I'd wear them all the time, but because they aren't I can wear them in the summer without burning up. Another solid product from Puma. January 6, 2013

Worth every penny! I bought this pair of mcycle boots for my husband a few weeks ago. He has been complimenting about these boots every single time he wears themj. He said they are very comfy. He can walk in these shoes all day all night. Even though I think they are expensive, they are worth every penny because my husband loves them and they cover the ankles for more safety. Very comfortable all purpose riding shoe This is by far the most comfortable riding shoe I've ever worn. Stylish and very well constructed. I actually wear the boot all day when riding to work. The only downside is the aluminum heel which sounds like a woman wearing high heels. I wear a 9 shoe and purchased size 43 (US10) which fit perfectly. Be sure to go one size larger. Price is steep but very glad I bought them September 10, 2012

These boots are not waterproof. If you need some waterproof riding shoes, check out the link below which is set up to filter all waterproof riding shoes:

Some of our favorites are the TCX Jupiter 2 Gore-Tex Riding Shoes, the Alpinestars CR-4 Gore-Tex Riding Shoes, the TCX X-Cube Riding Shoes, and the TCX X-Street Waterproof Riding Shoes. Either of the Gore-Tex options would be our first recommendation because of how well Gore-Tex works at being waterproof and breathable (guaranteed waterproof for the life of the product). The non Gore-Tex options will also work quite well, but they won't breath as well and in heavy rain they may leak a little if they become fully soaked.

Hi Greatchuck,

I've been in two rain storms so far one lasted only 30 mins and foot was still dry by the time i made it back home. The next lasted over 2hours on a trip foot was still dry with these shoes I would recommend these if you want a confy and water proof shoe with some style.

These boots provide adequate foot and ankle protection, but they don't have the shin protection and support a full-height boot provides.

Puma boots in general tend to run a bit narrow. For that reason, we would recommend you to get the Puma Testastretta II in size 10.

This is a classic puma fit so it's like a slim fit, if your foot is wide I would definitelly suggest you to go for the 10. I usually use 9 or 9.5 also depending on the shoe, I also like to use my tennis shoes in 9 because I like them to fit true.

I would say a riding boot gives you a little more protection than this one, it's like a tennis shoe with extra protection in the ankle, also have "cushion like" protection on the sides and reinforcement in the front to add grip when shifting gears and also giving a little more durability. I would recommend you this for a casual ride, like if you go with a girl somewhere close and you like to look great. They are very stylish as well as comfortable but I would say the protection is just fair.

they are a good hybrid of both in my opinion. They offer some protection while still being comfortable enough to wear off the bike for a while. I wouldn't recommend them for hardcore riding but for commutes and around town they are great.

They are definately boots, just a low cut. They cover the ankle and offer excellent protection. My only possible beef would be that behind the ankle they dip down, and I could see some concern with achilles tendon exposure. I don't see that as a huge issue, but it is a reality due to it being a low-cut boot. I'd have rathered them take the boot straight across rather than dip down like that, but I still feel very confident in them.

These are definitely riding shoes. Very rigid, built in ankle protection, and shifter grips. These are not racing boots, they are just a riding shoe and that might be where the confusion is at. People tend to expect more from products than what that product actually is.

Currently ride with AXO Strikers, great boot but the styling is off and there is not much support for the style of riding compared with the style of the boot. So, for something more around town and to walk around in, would the Puma Flats have a narrow heel and toe box? And what about the ankle area is it thin as well?

These boots are great for guys with average and narrow shaped feet. The average customer would not consider them overtly different in the fit. Those EEE width guys may have to look elsewhere. Reasonable riding support, but comfortable enough to be worn off the bike.
