Pleasent surprise on-road, awesome off road.
Put a t63 front and rear tire on my F650GS Dakar and took it out to Big Bend for some dual sport riding. Prior, I'd used the Anakee set up.

The t63s performed well on road and the bike handled exceptionally well on road. It makes some noise as you'd expect with a knobby tire, but stability, wear, handling, and traction were all superb.

Off road on the rocky, sandy desert 4x4 roads the tires provided awesome grip even at high (38) pressure. At lowers psi (20) they were great.

Having put a handful of hundred miles on them, the knobs are intact and don't show any separation, even after being run 70-75 for sustained periods of time.

Tread life looks to be good based on the miles and riding I've done. Originally i had planned to put the more street oriented anakees back on when i returned from the desert, but I've left the T63s equipped.

Bonus- they look sweet. And at their price (plus they are often on sale) It's insane to not pick up a set or 4.

Highly recommend. Great tire. Easy to swap on and off. Nice tread, good look, promising durability.

Awesome tire if you dual sport with your bike
I ride a 300lbs wr250r plus the 200lbs me and this tire is seeming to hold up. The rubber seems a bit softer than my previous tire, the infamous deathwing. I have about 1000 miles on it and its starting to wear but its minimal. I expect to hit 4000 miles before i swap out for a new one. The grip is MUCH better than the deathwing. Very predictable tire. A little noisey but its a dual sport tire, its expected. Btw i ride the bike 40 miles round trip to work whenever i can so its alot of onroad miles.

Great on/off road tire!
Mounted this tire on my KLR650 the other day and only have a few hundred miles on it so far, so no comment on long term tread wear, but it has shown to have excellent grip on all surfaces and road conditions and really digs into the dirt and sand. Haven't tried it in the mud yet.

Much quieter on pavement than some of the other DOT approved knobbies I've owned.

Very happy with this tire so far.

excellent tire a rock bottom price
I ride a KLR 650. I've written several different tires the Michelin T 63 is the most aggressive that I have used the Continental tck 80 it was better on the street but in all off road areas for me Michelin was better and almost half the cost. I have 2500 kilometers on it

can't beat it
Just got this on my drz400s about 300 miles on the pair so far. It's wearing in well. Hooks up nicely on dirt, gravel and glides over rocks and roots with no problem. It's tolerable on asphalt. Brake early during first couple hundred miles.

Great tire
Great DOT tire for my 03 KLX300, I went with a 130 width, with no clearance issue at all. Great feel and good grip on the pavement, and off road, it also has good traction. I had the Michelin AC10 on the bike, the AC10 had great off road traction, but on the paved roads, the T63 is much better!

Great aggressive dual sport tire.
2012 DR650 handles good all around with matching T63s. Bike wobbled past 70mph until the tires worn in some. Back tire worn with about 2500 miles and front still has about 60%. Hard riding.

Stephen F on Mar 3, 2015
Excellent knobby for the KLR650 and other big dual-sports at a decent price. Aired up, they have surprisingly good grip on pavement even when wet. For off road, you have big, widely separated knobs to let you bit in and chug through sloppy mud, rocks, and dirt. A true 50/50 tire.

Michelin is a trusted brand and at this price, I had to give them a try. So far with 1000 or so miles I am pleased. They work well off-road and get me down the highway. They are a bit loud at speed, but what does one expect? This will probably be my Go To tire for the DR650 from now on.
Robert H on Oct 24, 2014
I haven't tried these tires yet, but after 1500 miles on my KLR 650, my factory Dunlops are spent (mostly the rear tire). I'll review these after I have some miles under me.

Highly rated, reliable, affordable. Compared to the TKC80 people say it is much louder on the road, but better in the wet. Seems like a good tire for my Newfoundland trip, and I have always loved Michelin's tires.
Scott V on Jul 10, 2014
Putting it on a KLR650. When I get in the dirt I want something that will Perform & this looks like it.
Timothy P on Jul 8, 2014
I have a new D606 for my BMW Dakar but I wanted something more 50/50. I ran this tire on the 650 Dakar on the Tennessee/Mississippi/Arkansas part of the TAT and they performed well. There was some very thick gravel as they were laying it when we rode past and some creek crossings that I would have like to had a kore aggressive tire but this one performed well.
Philip C on Jul 1, 2014
These are name brand tires that are reasonably priced. I will be using them on a KLR that will be primarily used off road and they get very good reviews for this application.
