very good helmet
the helmet is very light, has excellent field of view with excellent airflow. wish the shield came in tint or another color, helmet definelty runs larger than normal JoeRocket helmet. the visor does catch the wind above 60, other than that for the price you can NOT go wrong with this helmet true Joe Rocket quality.

Good helmet. Reasonable Price.
Comfortable, well made helment. You can definitely feel the wind drag created by the visor. Not great for high speed riding, but great for off road and slower riding. Wish the shield would raise a little higher so that it is completely out of the field of view.

Great Value
IS a good value for the buck. my only complain is that the visor does not move high enough and it gets on the view when riding with the shiel lifted. Other wise it has great air flow and is light.

This helmet is great at side road speeds but at around 65-70 it gets really wobbly in the air. For dual sport riding though it should be fine.
I've only had a few rides but I like the helmet overall, a little wobbly at highway speeds but with a visor that is to be expected. Definitely a great value.

Great for my Dual-Sport Bike
Bought this helmet to match my KLX 250sf. Good helmet, only adjustments I would make is to the chin strap, i would move it forward half an inch, the side/cheek pads push on my jaw, I would pack the 'cheek' pads a little lighter, but maybe mine just needs to be worn a little more to break it in, I ony have a few hours in it. The way the visor is constructed to prevent a 'sail' (doesn't catch the wind)is good. One other small thing is for the wind shield, it warps your view in the center because of the high curvature of the shield, but I think that would be found on any make/model of this kind of helmet. IT doesn't effect driving, jsut something I noticed.

First DS Helmet
I had read some reviews that stated this helmet wore a little big. It does, but not by much. I have to tuck my head a little at speeds over 60, but otherwise, I love this helmet. Great airflow, light, compact, sun out of eyes more, and it looks great.

Joe Rocket hybrid helmet performs well, looks great.
I wanted a helmet for mostly asthetics- My regular modular helmet just didn't seem to look right on the dual-sport. The helmet's liner was soft, comfortable and it seemed more resistant to sweat odors than my other street bike helmets. I wish the visor did allow for the shield to go up further, as it is slightly in the line of vision- not to where it cuts off your field of view, just to where it directs your eyes upwards. I did notice SOME distortion in the shield, but this was only noticeable at slower speeds, >45 degrees off-center, and mostly while trail riding (probably because I was scanning more at closer distances). The helmet fit true to size. I did not notice any unusual buffetting at speeds up to 80, but there was definitely more wind coming through (that you could feel on cold days). I mitigated this by taping over the nose vent with some black duct tape. Goggles fit fine with the face shield up. There was room for me to mount my Sena SMH10 inside, but to reduce wind noise, I put the unit so the boom mic was behind the nose vent. I haven't noted any unusual wear on the helmet finish- tree branches slapping off it do not mar it. That's about it. Not the bottom level helmet, but one of the cheaper ones that is definitely worth more than it's asking price.

good deal for the money
Great helmet for the price. Only problem I have is the face sheild does not lift out of line of sight. but for the price I can live with that.
