Roomy fingers. Great airflow. These are my second pair of gloves after buying a size too small in some non-gauntlet Joe Rockets. These are a little snug in the palm. While breaking them in, they would leave impressions in my thumb, palm, and back of my hand. In contrast, the fingers seemed a smidge too long and loose. Just struck me as odd my fingers wern't snug against the tips. Airflow is perfect as far as I'm concerned. I've ridden in 90 degree F weather and 52 degree F weather. My hands have been just fine in both. In cold weather, the gauntlets prevent air from going up your jacket sleeves. In warm weather, my hands never got too hot. I plan to wear them all weather until they fall apart. Definitely a good buy for me. Highly recommended. December 8, 2014
Best bang for the buck out there I made the mistake of buying these guys in M, where I'd usually be an M with Icon and an L in A*. Initially I'd get pain the the knuckles and thumbs from the fingers being too short, but after I soaked them in water and rode with them all day they loosened up and while the fingers are still a small bit tight- the rest fits excellent and is comfortable. I feel well protected, not too bulky either. For me these are great in 55-85* temps in street riding. November 1, 2014
Gloves fit well and are comfortable for all but the thumbs. The gloves are comfortable for the most part. My only issue, the seams on the distal end of the thumb on both gloves. After forty-five minutes or so, my thumbs tingle and go numb. All other digits are good. To stop this problem, I can't pull the thumb of the glove on tight. The pressure from the grips pulls the seams too tight, so I have to leave room to compensate. Too bad the seams are not finished better. It's too soon for the durability question and I do not want to test the Protection question. October 27, 2014
Good product, large sizing Purchased this product on sale, good bang for the buck, seems like a good glove, however as other reviewers said the sizes run large. I am an XL in most brands of gloves eg. icon, scorpion, and ordered the XL in these gloves and they are very large, I'm still using them but consider going a size down in these gloves. Good value! For the price, I am very happy with these gloves. The first day, they pinched in a couple of spots, but the second day they were broken in and so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them. Good protection for the price and comfortable after break-in. October 12, 2014
Good street glove Third Joe Rocket glove I've owned. Previously owned a pair of speed master gloves and the first edition GPX gloves. Old model gloves had the separate knuckle guard which reduces tension across the knuckles, increasing comfort a little. The new gloves have the knuckle guard stitched in. That's not a huge deal but the old glove won that feature. Old glove knuckle guard was a hard piece of plastic with very little flex. New glove has a piece of flexible plastic over the knuckle. Old glove wins on knuckle protection. Old glove had internal stitched seems. The new glove has external stitched seems. The inside of the new glove is much smoother and comfortable due to the external stitching. The fit and finish of both gloves are good. The palms on both appear equal in quality. The rest of the gloves appear top be equal in quality. The old glove Velcro closure over the wrist were not the same length. Velcro closures appear to be equal length on the new gloves. Minus the knuckles and slightly different features they are essentially equal in quality, fit and finish, and protection. They are more comfortable which makes up the differences. If they could have the old knuckles on the new gloves they would be really good gloves. Don't hesitate they are great street sport gloves. September 24, 2014
Great Value I bought these because of the price and style. Those I knew were good before they came in. After I received these, they exceeded my expectations. They have held up really well and have not disappointed in the least. they stay rather cool with the vents, and the grip is excellent. Haven't had the need for "protection" yet, give thanks, but with the substantial construction, I have no doubts they will work as designed. September 15, 2014

A shopper asked: Are the Joe Rocket GPX 2.O Gloves true to size? I had to send a pair of Venom Street Fighter Gloves back today because I could barely get my hands in them. I measure my had and it measured at a 9.5 Should I stay with a ten if I decide to order your glove and will these gloves break in and give a way some after using them more often? May 24, 2011

rhicks: If you ever used JR gloves in the past then I would believe they run true to size. I usually wear a XL in gloves and these fit perfectly. I do expect them to give a little over time but for right now I could not imagine having a better fit. As a comparison, Revit gloves either run a tad small or just a bit big on me with their XL sizing. It's never a perfect fit. I've had four different styles of JR gloves over the years, all in XL, and all fit perfectly. Jul 30, 2011

darksoul: Not sure about whether it is true to size, but I have a pair of Joe Rocket GPX 2.0 (Size 2XL). For Alpinestar GP Pro, I also had to wear size 2XL to fit. But however, I find Alpinestar GP Pro (Size 2XL) fits better than Joe Rocket GPX 2.0 (Size 2XL). Joe Rocket GPX 2.0 (Size 2XL) bit of loose fit. Maybe, Joe Rocket GPX 2.0 is bigger that any other gloves' sizing. Not recommended to be too big, as the knuckle protection will be loose. Jun 27, 2011

Christian J: I just got these gloves a few weeks ago, and I measured about a 10. They fit nice and snugly, the stitching in the ends of the fingers gets a little annoying sometimes pushing into the ends of my fingers when I'm holding the grips on my bike. But if I just push them up a bit they don't bug me anymore. As far as sizing go's I'd say they're pretty true to fit. Apr 28, 2014

Ambro: Good question, I measured the circumference of my hand at 10 inches. I just received a Large pair and had the same issues, had a really difficult time getting my hand into the gloves. I was able to get my hand in but they felt really tight. I decided to exchange them for an XL pair, haven't received them yet, I'll post a reply on the XL's once I get them. Jul 12, 2012

jket007: yes they are true to size. With most gloves, they will fit tight at the beginning and break in. But it also depends on how your fingers fit in them. If you have some room to work with, it won't stetch to the point where they are too big. If your fingers are pressing, they will stretch a little to give it a perfect fit. I hope this helps. Streetdreemin: I tried a bunch of Larges and XL's on in the store and found that I was generally an XL. I bought the XL Joe Rocket's and they were a perfect fit. Some of the gloves in the store had small pinky fingers which was really annoying. These fit excellent right out of the box and even felt broken in already. Oct 15, 2011

inventordude: My hand measures about 9.5 also and I wear a large. My Speedmaster 5.0's are mediums and I needed a large to make the GPX 2.0 fit correctly. They break in a little as they form to your fingers but never get loose.
Hope this helps.
