Fits true to American size I have the Joe Radar Jacket so the pants zip right in and thats definitely a plus. The pockets i think might be a joke ... unless you only put a card or insurance information inside them i believe they are better left empty for there is no room for anything else. I wear a size 28 but i got the 30 so they sit slightly baggy but thats a plus because i can wear pants under them no problem. The combination of mesh and leather is perfect for hot weather, as soon as you start moving all is well. Lastly the fit perfectly into my boots, no lack of movement or anything September 2, 2013
Get what you buy Fit amazingly, true to size, great air flow, amazing price, great protection, would recommend to anyone. Go Joe Rocket! August 12, 2013
Great pants These pants are great. They look awesome and fit well. I measured at 33 inches in the waist, the 32 fit great. The length seemed true to size. I've taken some pretty good trips with them in the 90 degree weather, they've been cool and comfortable. June 24, 2013
Great pants Wore these throughout an entire California year. Pretty comfortable while riding, perforations flow air nicely, and it offers great protection. Has both a back zipper and a near-360 degree one to attach to a jacket. Has some pockets which are a bit hard to access given how tight the pants fit since they fit a size too small. Doesn't come with sliders which is a bummer, and the back of the knees feel stiff even after having broken them in for a while. February 25, 2013
Great pants! Fit just right with enough adjustability! As stated in other reviews, I am 5'10" and about 192lbs. Athletic build 44" chest with 34" waist. My slacks are always a 32" inseam. Im not going to lie. I tried on tons of pants and suits before buying this pair. I found some felt vague all over and others were an absolute chore to put on. I wear these daily over slacks or jeans for my 1 hour commute (each way). They feel great and I have not had any thermal issues when its either 36 degrees or 82 degrees! No problems at all thanks to the well placed mesh. They zip up nicely to my JR Radar Dark jacket with no fuss. The knee protectors line up where they should and the zipper on the pants leg makes tucking into my boots so much easier. Bottom line, these are a great pair of pants. March 12, 2012
great value for what you get in these pant the value is very good. Fit is good but tight if you want to wear anything under them. Pockets are small i wish they were bigger for street riding. I wore them an entire two days at maxton and yes i was drenched in sweat but they were still comfortable over the 800 miles i wore them that weekend. I would recommend not the best but very good and priced great. I have put over 40,000 miles of riding and several wrecks on my Joe rocket jacket i am wearing i would expect this to do the same. RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Jeff K: Owned a pair of these for the past several years. Being 6'8' and 300+, it's hard to find things that fit right. Joe Rocket is on point every time. The last pair held up very well but I guess I'm still growing. Needed a bigger size. Apr 29, 2014
Anthony E: Positive reviews on both the item and Revzilla. Dec 2, 2013
A shopper asked: Could I use this as an overpant, either over shorts or dress pants (for commuting)? I live in SoCal so it is warm here a lot of the year. Also, would this work with an ankle height boot (i.e., one that I don't tuck pants into)? If I use it as an overpant, any sizing suggestions (I'm at 34 or 36 waist). I'm looking for the protection of leather along with hip protection and that is hard to find in an overpant. Aug 31, 2014

James O: Joe Rocket Blaster 2.0 pants are really sport bike pants, complete with knee slider patches. They're designed to be tucked into the boots and are a tighter fit than overpants. I wouldn't recommend commuting with dress pants under them. Blaster 2.0 sizing has an American fit. A size 36 fits like size 36 Levi Jeans.

You might be able to get away with using Joe Rocket Pro Street Pants or Icon Overlord Prime Leather Pants. Both pants have hip protection and roomier leg construction than the Blaster 2.0 and they're both an over the boot fit. An added plus is they don't have velcro patches for knee sliders. Dirt and dead bugs would be easier to clean off leather than velcro.

Michael B: Yes, you could use the 2.0 as an ovepant, IMO, if you size the pants for your purpose but you are going to look pretty bulky in them. In So Cal, I think you will be pretty warm using these 2.0 leather pants over dress pants. Shorts would be ok. The leather is thick, and the knee joint, especially with the protectors inside, would probably bind a dress pant. Yes, I think this would work with an ankle boot, but not anything taller because the 2.0 pants are made to tuck into a boot. The 2.0 provides solid protection and is built tough. On the east coast, with humidity and temperatures in the high 90's, the pants can be uncomfortably warm. Sep 18, 2014

Brian D: It should work with thin pants or shorts. I wear these with ankle boots I am six foot and they go all the way down into my ankle boots and are a snug fit when zipped down. I found that they tend to ride down in the back but this is fixed by just zipping them into a jacket in the back ( I have joe rocket jacket too) the perforated ones of these pants kept me cool on a 100 degree day. They get more comfortable as they break in too so wait a couple rides before you decide they are too stiff Sep 18, 2014

Michael G: You could use it as an overpant. It's not too hot if you get the perforated one.

I'm 5 9 and got the size 32; the knee pad was a bit low until I put on my boots. Tucking it in held the knee pads in the right place.

I wear a size 31 jeans, got the 32 pants and they fit basically true to size.
So probably bump up a size for overpants.

Jeff K: I wouldn't recommend these for overpants. They're a snug fit with stretch panels on the insides of the legs. You could maybe pull off some light shorts at best but dress pants would probably not be presentable at the end of your commute. Sizing is accurate and the length goes right to the ankle bone. I'd buy whatever size you normally wear in jeans. Sep 18, 2014

Jeffrey P: I have the same size waist (depending on the pant cut), I bought these in a 36 and they fit perfect but, not as an over pant. They work fine with a base layer gear, either cooling or warm but not pants. The legs are designed to tuck into a full size boot but you could wear with an ankle high boot depending on your inseam. Gary J: I wear a 36" waist and I don't think going up a size would give me enough room to wear as an over pant. Of course it depends a lot on how thin your legs are.
The pants zip at the ankle, and are fairly snug. They may look a bit odd with an ankle boot.

Tanase Z: I doubt it would work as an overpant. I can use them with a first layer in colder days, but that's pretty much it.
I use a high boot and I tuck the pants into, but I guess with an ankle high it would work.

A shopper asked: Are these pants perforated? Also, how is the waist to crotch distance? I don't like motorcycle pants to be short in this regard.

Jonathan B: You can get them either perforated or non perforated. I got the perforated and I think that's the better way hands down. Still the ventilation isn't that great but it's what you expect from leather pants. And the waist is high so there is room in the crotch.

These pants are comfortable when riding. When I first tried them on I didn't like them but after a 2nd or 3rd time I did. I have a bigger lower body and they weren't too tight. I wear 34 jeans 5'11" 190. Bought the 34 perf. I don't think you can beat them for the price.

Gary J: They come both perforated and non perforated. Mine are perforated.
I'm on the tall side-6'4" and I find the crotch to waist distance to be just right. I zip the pants to my jacket and it's comfortable.
