John H: I wanted to try out the Kevlar pant concept.May 15, 2014
Dustin A: Turns out they still fit great except just not as tight (thank geebus!) Which is a plus. As others have mentioned they are very long. I'm 6'3 and they cover my boots nicely when I'm in the tuck position. Off the bike though, they will definitely be around your feet. Reward over risk if you ask me. For the ones who cannot stand anything "flapping" when riding, look elsewhere. These are baggy and will by all means flap in the wind at times. I wear somewhat baggy clothes so these were perfect IMO.May 8, 2014
Joshua A: Wanted a pair of riding jeans at a decent price that had abrasion resistant inserts along with a loose-enough fit to wear over knee and shin guards, armored shorts, and my Sidi ST boots.
As a plus these have good ventilation and the stretchy panels are nice too!May 7, 2014
Bruce A: Icon makes a very nice product Unfortunately they discontinued the previous style and now they are discontinuing the victory pants as well It is too bad because these are very comfortable riding pantsJan 4, 2014

Carlos G: Two words... protection and comfort.Aug 23, 2013
carlos p: The only reason why I bought this item is to add safety and protection rather than wearing a normal jeans while riding. Besides you don't want to ruin a perfectly good jeans in case you fall. That's all.Aug 22, 2013
L A: I currently own a Strong Arm Pant 2 and feel a bit safer with abrasive resistant clothing while riding.Aug 22, 2013

James S: Gotta protect the money maker.Aug 14, 2013
michael b: Got great reviews and I need some good riding jeans that protect meAug 12, 2013
Shawn H asked:What is the long-term durability of these pants? As a commuter, could I wear these pants daily without the need to change into "normal" pants?May 14, 2014
Jack S:I would say daily wear is possible. They are quite heavy duty denim and I don't think I would want to wear them all day long if not riding your bike. If it was me I'd have another pair for when I got off the bike for any length of time. I think the weakest part would be the stretchable areas.May 15, 2014
Salvatore D:They are just like any other pair of jeans. The knees are a little more durable than expected for riding jeans. Its a good product for the money. You can wear them as normal everyday jeans.May 17, 2014
Stacy M:With the exception of the black sections you see, the visible areas of the jeans are all denim. The Kevlar is like a "second skin" and is attached to the denim on the inside of the pants. Although the Kevlar doesnt completely cover the inside of the pants, it is located in all of the important areas. The black sections you see are elastic panels and are extremely helpful in providing enough movement in the crotch and knee areas to make wearing them on your bike surprisingly comfortable. I'm a 6'2" 260lb male. The jeans fit great and wear well. I wear them with a belt and Sidi Adventure boots, the waist and length are perfect. No alterations needed. Wash them in cold and you should have no problem with shrinkage. Love them!!!Sep 15, 2013
Gem E:There is actually no Kevlar in these pants. I bought them for the comfort, looks, and the cheap price honestly. I have another pair of riding jeans that are fully kevlar reinforced and three times the thickness but they are not as comfortable of course. The Victory does have a low percentage of Aramid on knees and hips that is supposed to be abrasion resistant.Sep 16, 2013
Yendis B:There is a fold on the inside of the knees that have a kevlar sleeve the holds a thick synthetic piece of dark foam. I absolutely love these jeans, they are very comfortable. I rode all day, and they had decent ventilation.Oct 2, 2013
Dustin A asked:Do these pants shrink any upon first washing them? I noticed they were 100% cotton on the body of the pants, and most likely things of that 100% material shrink a little bit on the first wash/dry. Has anybody noticed any shrinking over time?
The reason I ask is because I ordered a 32" pair, which fit absolutely perfect (too perfect?). I typically wear a size 32" or 34" in jeans, depending on the brand, so I went with the reviews on most saying "true to size". Well, they fit so perfect that if they were even to shrink a quarter of an inch on the waist I would be struggling to get them on, if at all.
I am needing to know if they will shrink on me after I use them, and then be stuck with a pair of jeans that don't fit. Would it be worth upgrading to the 34" pair, or would 2 more inches (since they fit very snug now) be falling off of me? I don't mind wearing a belt at all, but you know what I mean... If they do NOT shrink even the slightest bit, then I will keep these and wear the shat out of them =}
