read this review This is an excellent jacket. I started using this in late summer. The air vents are better than any other jacket I've used. You should still expect to get a little warm at stoplights though. I live in Texas, so summer temps usually get into the 100's. I recently put the liner in for fall. It is very comfortable. It does a good job of keeping me warm. The collarless neck will allow air to get in, but if you're using the jacket in colder weather you're probably going to use a balaclava anyway. I like the style. It will fit with most any style of bike. I ride a crotch rocket. If you can find the color and size you want, jump on it before they are no longer available. November 15, 2014
Great Jacket for the price Pros: nice thick leather for good protection looks great with attention to detail nice warm zip out liner to extend the season Cons: could use more venting no exterior pockets no reflective anything Overall, great jacket, a little warm for hot days. For cold weather, you will need something for your neck, the jacket only comes to the neck of my t-shirt. October 20, 2014
Solid classic leather jacket Just got back on a bike after years away (first street previously dirt bikes) and liked the looks of the motorhead (Got the white/black so should help with getting to hot in summer over full black). Have only had it for 2 weeks but it does everything a leather jacket should. Only upgrade might do is better back armor in place of basic pad it comes with. Plenty of options for venting and should be good far into the summer (may pick up a textile for summer). If you have a long torso it will not go down over the belt line but for me it is perfect length. April 15, 2014
Great jacket I'm very happy with this jacket. It's heavy and seems like it has good protection. I like the optional liner it comes with; it has kept me warm in 40-50 degree weather and with the liner out in the summer there is a decent amount of air flow. I'm 5'11" and 185lbs and a fairly muscular build, I got the large and the fit is just a little off. The medium fit me well in abdomen and back but was way to tight for my shoulders and chest so I went large. Sometimes I'll notice the bottom of the jacket billowing out a little even with the side buttons snapped to the smallest setting. It's not a deal breaker for me. Overall excellent quality and looks great too. March 18, 2014
Great 3-Season Jacket I purchased the jacket in the fall and wore it through the winter and spring. I'm a slim guy but I ordered the XL size to accomodate my long arms. The jacket was great for 25-90 degree weather. The temperature is now in the 100s and I'm looking at the Icon Anthem Mesh jacket to wear until Fall. I didn't think it would be good in 70+ weather, but the jacket flows enough air to make you comfortable. Big surprise! Oh yeah, Revzilla pricematched my jacket so I also got a pretty good deal. I'm happy with the service. June 28, 2013
GREAT JACKET FOR NORTHEAST RIDERS ! I bought this jacket at a local store under clearance for $300. It took me about a week for the leather to break in. I live in New York so the weather is not always perfect. It gets cold during early mornings and nights so this jacket will protect you from the chill wind. I take out the inner thermal when the temperature is 80 degree and higher. This is a great perforated leather jacket IMO. June 5, 2013
Great Coat Jacket fits great order true to size. I had to return my medium for a small and Revzilla was great. Quick service and the jacket looks great. I ordered the white and black and am very happy with my purchase. The jacket is a little stiff but I'm sure with time it will get broken in. May 28, 2013
Awesome Jacket!!!! I bought this jacket the beginning of 2012, so as of this review I have had it a little over a year. I am really satisfied with this jacket. I feel very protected while I am wearing it. I am 6 foot, 175 and bought a medium green. It is a little tight especially in the winter when I am wearing a sweat shirt underneath but in the summer without the liner in and just a t-shirt it fits perfectly. It matches my green ninja just perfectly. I look bad as… (if I must say so myself)! The armor fits me just right. The airflow is very good in the summer. I have rode with this jacket from 40 degree weather to 95 degrees. It does get a little too cold without heated gear in the low 40s but it was bearable but you do need something covering your neck. The 90 plus degree weather gets hot while you stop but if you are going over 30 miles per hour you cool down fairly quick. My only two issues is the jacket is heavy and the back protector needs to get upgraded but that is a compromise for having a awesome jacket. May 15, 2013

Christopher P: Icon quality and attention to detail. RevZilla's review of this jacket was invaluable. My first choice was a Scorpion EXO jacket (discontinued and out-of-stock) but RevZilla's review of this jacket assured me that this piece would fit my tall, slender frame. Great fit, very high build quality, and genuine cow hide leather. I am very happy with my purchase! Aug 19, 2013

Robert C asked: Is this jacket Icon Attack, Sport or Relaxed fit? Jun 25, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jacob S: It is a relaxed fit.whether you where it on a sports bike or cruiser, the styling is universal.ive had mine for about 1.5 and ive worning it in all conditions and its held up perfectly and you feel protected with the paddings and quality and thickness of leather.the only downside is the zipper tag as its a bit thin and flimsy. One other comment is to order one size smaller as the leather will stretch.

All in all... even though it has been discontinued i bought it because of the styling and quality

Jason L: The Icon Motorhead Leather Jacket is a versatile jacket that works well in a full tuck or upright position which is why I chose it, It also has a full sleeve quilted thermal liner that works great in spring and fall weather. Hope I answered your question, ride safe Jun 26, 2014

Harold K: I would have to say it's more( sport) than Attack or Relaxed. What ever it's called,I love the jacket! I ride a 2003 GSXR 600 and I cruise on 120,130mph cause I can. This jacket looks just as good sitting still as it does flying down the road. Jun 26, 2014

Larry M asked: Does the Motorhead jacket have a rear mounted zipper for pants attachment? Feb 19, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Christopher P: No, unfortunately this jacket does not come with a rear zipper. There are some specialty seamstresses that can sew one in. Make sure the seamstress can work with motorcycle gear: gear uses special stitching and thread. Feb 20, 2014

A shopper asked: Which armor would I use to upgrade? Will it fit the orange D30? Is the back pad also CE approved? It looks like a plain piece of foam. Oct 13, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Ben A: The standard back pad is just foam for show. I upgraded to the CE2 Forcefield BackPad Insert Pro in a size 001. Fits the pocket perfectly but takes a little technique to get through the opening. As a hint fold it hard in half length wise and get it into the pocket and let it unfold once inside. Oct 15, 2014

Anthony P: Im sorry, im unaware of the upgrades.
as for size of Jackets...they match great.
So, I'll assume inserts wud match also.
CE approved... idk. (Dont Know)

A shopper asked: On your video review of the ICON motorhead leather jacket you say that the foam backpad is 'upgradeable to a CE' protector. Please tell me what CE rated protector will fit into the slot of this jacket. I know that ICON has told me that none of their CE protectors will fit this jacket. Apr 8, 2012

RevZilla: The Knox TP2 Advance X CE Back Protector and the Forcefield BackPad Insert Pro for Dainese will both fit in the Icon Motorhead Leather Jacket. Apr 13, 2012
Reply to RevZilla Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Raul F asked: Is all of the armor upgradeable? (elbow/shoulder/back), or it is just the back that is upgradeable? If so, what upgrades fit shoulder/elbow?

I read already that the back is upgradeable with Knox TP2 Advance X CE Back Protector and the Forcefield BackPad Insert Pro for Dainese.
