I ordered the product based on the sale price and excellent reviews. The styling is okay, I can take or leave the robot theme. The helmet has excellent air flow and the shield does not fog up at all. I have ridden with it in the low 30's to this point. The noise level is a little higher then I expected based on reviews, but definitely acceptable in this price level. The thing I am most happy with is the stability of the helmet when riding on highway. There is very little if any buffeting from 50 to 120 mph. I would definitely recommend the helmet.

This is very good helmet that gives you the most bang for your buck. Very stylish, looks great with chrome or dark smoke visor also. With the huge air vents, this helmet has very good air flow. It fits slightly small, but it's good because you rather have it snug then loose. Overall, a very good buy. Will buy again.

1.) The supervent worked just as advertised, in that it was the first and only component to break when I dropped my Domain 2 down a flight of wood stairs (Murphy's Law as it applies to shiny new expensive things). The whole rest of the helmet, including the faceshield, laughed it off. Since buying and installing a replacement for the Vent, it would take a careful examination by hand to determine that this helmet had been dropped. Since the helmet is still quite structurally sound and the looks are untarnished I elected to continue riding with it and I have no worries that it will hold up great.
2.) The micro-fiber padding is superb. I wear a Large and while it is quite snug on my head, I didn't feel any pain after a 3 hour roadtrip. Not even significant red marks on my face. You want a TIGHT fitting helmet for it to do it's job properly, and the comfort padding of the Domain 2 is up to the task of making this an attainable goal.
3.) I bought this helmet in Red and already I kind of want it in Black, just to see how the detailing holds up. So the styling definitely works for me. But what's most important is that this helmet is a perfect combination of attention-grabbing while not also screaming: "I'm a counter-culture death metal freak, please do society a favor and run me over in your minivan!" This helmet will get you noticed without looking like Salvador Dali's nightmares. The technical robotic design feels a touch more refined then some of the spastically-colored animalistic imagery that's out there in Icon's own product line. Kudos to Icon for achieving this design balance, here's hoping they decide to continue the look forward once the Domain 2 is completely retired.

Great looking helmet, great peripheral vision. Both SNELL and DOT approved. Light weight with good comfortable padding on the inside. Turns heads everywhere I go, awesome design overall. Plenty of air vents and of course able to find all replacement parts being a name brand helmet. Looks great with RST Silver Pro-shield upgrade. I get many compliments from all sorts of riders.
