Nice jacket for a hot weather Tons of airflow due to mesh construction. Great looking summer jacket with a decent protection in critical areas. The sizing is a bit large, so consider going one size down. April 30, 2013
You get what you pay for Over all it is a good jacket I wish it was a lil bit longer in the body even the xl looks like an M but its an xl on the sleeves. Air flow its excellent and protection wise is good. I would recommend this jacket for summer riding. Light and confortable. February 19, 2013
Excellent summer jacket Just recently got this jacket, and I was so surprised by the amount of mesh for the jacket. I got a *Large on my 41 measured frame, and its not snug but allows if I get cold to chuck a jumper underneath. The armour is prefectly placed for me, but lacks a back protector. Only problem I've found is the zips are a bit hard to operate with gloves and don't fully lock at closed prosition. Other than that, all-round great jacket, would recommend! Shipping to Australia didn't take long either, so thanks to Revzilla for that! December 26, 2012
You get what you ask for from the Icon Arc Mesh I have been riding with this jacket all summer in Australia, and I have no complaints. You get what you ask for from the Icon Arc Mesh jacket. It’s a mesh jacket with leather in the danger/impact zones. It provides a heap of air flow and the feeling of protection at the same time. The jacket is a larger “American” fit and I find a medium is still slightly large on my 175cm, 84kg frame . . . i usually rock a large in European cut jackets as I have a 105cm chest. I highly recommend it for the commuter who needs some airflow when dashing from lights to lights, but I want more protection when I take the Hyper for a spirited ride through the twisties on weekend. The Icon Arc Mesh jacket's pocket (XL size) measures approximately 19 (long) x 8 (width at it's narrowest point) inches. A few back protectors that will fit these dimensions are listed below.

* Forcefield BackPad Insert Pro - Small Shape A.
* SAS-TEC Back Protector - SC-1/11 (Some trimming may be required) - *Per the manufacturer, cutting the back protector will not change its protective qualities."
* Dainese Shield Air G Level 2 Back Protector - G1

Answer: 
It already has shoulder, elbow and back high density foam protection. Tou can change them if you like. I changed my back protector for the Klim D3O Viper T5 Pro Back Protector.
