Favorite summer jacket I thought I'd wear this on shorter, summer rides but it was so comfortable, I decided to take it on 2 trips (Gaspe and Ontario Highlands) last summer. I ran into some very warm weather and spent most of the day on the bike with the liner out. It still looks great. Can't say that for Hi-vis material! I got the black/grey and think it looks sharp. I'm 5'8" and 175 lbs. Medium fits great. March 21, 2015
Jacket did what I wanted Being back on a MC after a long hiatus, I researched all brands and prices to get started again (boy I'm tired of looking at videos). Live in the deep South and do not wish to ride in freezing temps or rain if can avoid it. Received Jacket promptly and was able to test it out when the temps fell to the low 40's. Just wearing a LS shirt underneath (liner present), I felt the jacket was cool, but not cold during a short round trip of 30 miles. The 2X size fit me just fine with adjustments (I'm 6' 265lbs) and it looks good without being Sci-fi enabled. I am always cautious with sizes buying online, but RevZilla explained everything I needed to know with this jacket for a non-exchangeable order. I rated it a 5 star for it's simple operation and hopefully will be wearing it with just a t-shirt during our steamy days down South. As Senior Robinson says down here, I'm happy, happy, happy. Good value Simple no dingles/logos medium weight jacket. You won't be a riding billboard with this jacket. Flows air nicely and is comfortable to wear on hot days. Good down to mid sixties with no liner.Medium fit is slightly large on on my normally snug medium body. I am 5-10 170. Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability. Hope to never test if protection is any good. November 3, 2014
Great jacket, awesome price, held up nicey I don't know if this says much, but my torso and arms were the only part of my body that did not have a single scratch on them from a recent spill. The padding and jacket held up very well and for its price tag I am very impressed. I remember the jacket fitting just as the size chart and other reviewers recommended. The airflow was sufficient as long as you were moving, but I recall sweating in the Texas heat at almost every light. (can't imagine any proper jacket not doing that though especially in Texas) One of the biggest selling points for me when I chose this jacket was the fact that it didn't make me look like a walking advertisement. If I am unable to find another jacket that fits a little snugger and looks better than I can see this being my default go to jacket. My only complaint really is the back padding could be thicker. I tried purchasing another recommended back protector, but was disappointed that it didn't fit without trimming the padding itself. All in all great jacket with very few cons. September 1, 2014
Perfect fit! I've owned many jacket brands and this is the only summer mesh jacket that truly fits me. Excellent price for this great jacket. August 21, 2014
Nice styling I was looking for a summer riding gear for hot MIssissippi days especially during morning and evening rush hour traffic. This jacket provides at least some protection from the cagers and deer if you take a slow speed slide. Not much help in a major crash though. I'm not aware of any product that can guarantee much more than that. Fits very well. Use the sizing chart. Also rain gear easy on and off. Works pretty good too. I ride daily and this jacket is pretty comfortable. Good ventilation. Lots of pockets and adjustment straps. Price is good. No complaints from me. Ride hard. Ride often. Stay safe. August 18, 2014
Jacket is a hit. Only a dozen hours with the jacket, on a couple of rides, but seems to be as advertised so far. Great airflow with liner out, even enough on a 106F day. Have not ridden with liner in yet, maybe will update in Fall. The jacket is totally comfortable, the armor sits right where it should, and I don't notice anything negative while riding. For the price, I think it is a great value. August 18, 2014
Very good warm weather jacket Comfortable, affordable, warm weather jacket. Used it in a rain storm with the rain liner and did a very good job of keeping me reasonably dry. August 11, 2014

Brian A: Wanted a jacket geared more toward summer weather. Although it doesn't draw as tight at the waist as I would've liked, I'm still very happy with it. This type of jacket runs small. I'm usually medium in my other jackets but based on Revzilla reviews, I hesitantly ordered a small. Revzilla was right and the small fits my medium body just fine. It's nice and cool on a hot summer day and with the rain liner zipped in, fall rides in lower temps are very comfortable. Nice purchase. Feb 2, 2014

Grant A asked: It's hard to tell from the images: Does the gray/silver version have reflective stripes/panels like the other colors do, or does it only have the reflective piping? Sep 2, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Kurt L: I have the silver shoulders/black body version. there is only reflective piping -- no reflective 'panels' or 'stripes" on it. I'm not sure the other versions have panels or stripes, either; they're probably manufactured all along the same line & just use different colored material.
I'd agree that stripes + panels would be even more effective/visible. That said, the piping that's there works well and aids visibility at dusk & at night.
I do like the jacket - it's a lifesaver on hot & humid days, and i use the windbreaker/liner for cooler mornings on my commute.

Pete S: I thought my jacket was black. I can't imagine that any color would be made differently from any other, and I think all of the piping is reflective. The lighter panels don't seem to be reflective. This is my favorite of my four riding jackets. I have another mesh jacket from another manufacturer, and that one is made of a kind of hard plastic mesh. This one has a softer fabric that is very comfortable. I would buy this one again in a minute. When it's too hot for leather or a winter jacket, I wear this one. Sep 11, 2013

Grant A: I'm going to amend this and also answer it since I saw a picture of the jacket on another site in the dark:

My thoughts were wrong: the stripes/panels are NOT reflective. ONLY the piping and the rear logo is reflective.

Maryann C: This is not the same style jacket that I purchased in 2012 so I can't really say. The jacket I bought doesn't appear to have reflective panels. Sep 11, 2013

A S asked: What level of CE approved armor does this jacket have? Thanks Aug 11, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Micah T: unknown armor rating any further than what you can find on the web, the jacket has a Kevlar pad in the mid/upper back and bilateral elbow and shoulder hard armor. I cant speak to its crash survivability but the jacket has been ideal for me as a commute and trip jacket. it has a rain liner that will keep me comfortable riding at @40*F and dry, if you really want to ride when its raining. I live in TX so it gets pretty hot >100*F and the mesh is great as long as I am moving. it is a comfortable wear and is hi-vis, a well thought out piece of gear I highly recommend. hope this helps, stay safe Aug 15, 2014

David B: I'm not sure. You can check the spec. The shoulder and elbow pieces are pretty solid and did the job in a low-speed fall I took. But the back protector is flimsy and I replaced mine with a better one that I found on Revzilla that fit into the pocket. Aug 11, 2014

Kenneth C: The elbow and shoulder armor are basic minimum CE Rating (there is only one level of rating for shoulders and elbows). The back pad is an unrated foam "comfort pad." Aug 12, 2014

A shopper asked: Will the Klim D3O T5 Back Protector fit in this jacket? Mar 7, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The two back protectors we have had luck with installing in Tour Master jackets are; Klim D3O Viper (must be trimmed to fit correctly) and the Forcefield BackPad Insert (size 001). Mar 8, 2013
