This Photochromatic Visor is a great attachment to the GMAX helmet. I think that it is a bit pricey for a visor but well worth the money. It is great in mixed weather, The Rain rolls clean off the visor like it was cleaned with rainx wipes, it is good in direct sun light it may not be dark enough for some riders but with my having to wear glasses it is dark enough without sacrifising my vision. The transistion between light and dark happens firly quickly wich is very nice overall great produck would can't go wrong and is sure beats taking 2-3 sheilds with you all the time. and it is crystal clear like there is nothing even there. not like some of your cheaper made visors where you get that bit of a gray hase to the visr at some angles, this one does not have that at all at any angle. Great job Zilla !!!

Works great in mixed weather, overcast, winter (low sun angle) and night. Doesn't get dark enough for long rides on bright summer days, but still works for short commutes. At temps below 45 F, the visor will not become clear once it is exposed to bright light until warm. Sure beats switching out shields and keep 2-3 with you at all times.
