GREAT FIT LOOK AND OPTIONS
i literally just got mine and tried it on and i gotta say i am very very happy i got the 2XLT i am 6'2 220lbs but slim built just as described it does fit more american rather than euro but its perfect the armor fits where its needed one down side but a minor is the hand cuffs when i adjust them to my wrist they bulk up and feel like a ball on your wrist and i wish the waist adjustment would go just a lil more further to fit a tad bit tighter
overall i love it gonna be wearing this for a long time
THANK YOU Revzilla for carrying QUALITY products

Nice jacket!
Fits well, gives plenty of room to layer sweatshirt underneath for colder weather. Great style. Feel very protected wearing it. Bought one very similar from First Gear for my girlfriend.

This jacket fits.
I liked the box cut style of the jacket. I am 5'9" and 220 pounds. This was the first jacket that I tried on that actually fit me. The air vents work great; I rode in temperatures in the upper 80's and I was surpirsed how well the air vents worked. I bought the 2XL size so I could wear a sweatshirt under the jacket when the weather turns cold. The sleeve lenght is good and the pockets work well.
The only thing that I do not like about the jacket is the zipper. The jacket comes with a two-way zipper which makes it difficult to zip and unzip the jacket. Since it is a waist lenght jacket and the inner pockets open from the top, I do not understand the need for a zipper that will unzip from the bottom.

Does everything I want, doesn't do what I don't want
I purchased this jacket as an adjunct to my well-worn orange Rev'It Cayenne Pro; my wife was complaining that when we would go out to dinner, I looked like a beaten up traffic cone walking in to the restaurant. So, who in their right mind will refuse a request from their significant other to buy more gear?
My primary considerations when looking for this type of jacket (after safety, of course) were:
1. Looks nice when walking in to a decent restaurant
2. Something that will stand up to a little rain if needed
3. Be 'simple' without being overloaded with gadgets and superfluous belts, straps, snaps and such
I was originally considering the AlpineStars Verona WP, but based on reviews of that jacket and it's very European fit, I decided that something with a little more room would be better. I am of European descent, but not from the skinny part.
Overall, the jacket fits my three basic criteria. The reflective striping is subdued and works well with the lines of the jacket. It is comfortable (I did wash it three times with a couple tennis shoes to help bash it in to a softer state) and it is a simple, no excessive thrills jacket.
On sizing, my measurements are in line with the stated ones for a extra-large, which I ordered and am quite happy with. If I could try one on in a store, I would give the large a try and probably be a smidge happier with that, but the sleeves may be too short with that size. My chest measurement is 44 and a 35 sleeve. The body of the jacket definitely has enough room for a relaxed summer fit or a good base layer when it is colder out. Even with the extra summer room, the jacket still looks good and not baggy/like you are wearing your dad's gear.
I'd recommend this jacket to a friend.

Great jacket
I have only drove 2000 miles with the jacket so far and I can't really complain except for when its 100 degrees outside.

Very comfortable, good weight for cool weather.
Fit and finnish are good. I removed the plastic tabs on the wrists, they got in the way of the throttle.

very good jacket
This is my first textile jacket. The fit is good and protection is great. I haven't used it in hot weather yet, but in cold weather it blocks the wind well.

Good jacket for the price
I'm 6' 4" and was looking for a jacket to fit my long arms and tall frame. I found that Firstgear made tall sizes and decided to go for it. I must say I'm disappointed in the arm length but the rest of the jacket is suitably tall. I'd actually ordered other jackets from Rev It through RevZilla first and the arms were a bit short. I returned them and hoped the Firstgear would solve my sleeve problem. To put it succinctly: It hasn't. The arms on a large/Tall don't feel any longer than the normal sizes from Rev It (which I'm told is relatively "tall friendly"). This is a small beef but I kept this jacket because the price was right and the other features are great. I can live with the too short sleeves at this price point. At the prices of Rev Its I could not.
So aside from the semi misleading "tall" size here's what I think:
The jacket is a nice casual jacket. I ordered if in tan and it's nicely understated. The construction is solid and the venting is absolutely great. I've worn it up to about 85 degrees and while I'd certainly be better served by a mesh jacket at those temps this one has been fine as long as I'm moving. There are zippers galore that air can come through. The elbow and shoulder pads are good quality and fall in the right place for my long arms. The back protector is probably worthless in any serious get off so if you're concerned about that I'd look into upgrading. Plenty of internal pockets to keep your stuff secure. It even has a dedicated cell phone pocket but I'd recommend Firstgear to make this a bit bigger since many smartphones won't fit in it at all (HTC Evo, for example).
All in all a really nice jacket for the money. Nothing will ever fit us tall guys perfectly when it comes to moto gear but Firstgear has come close. I'm a new rider and this is a good first jacket. It's cheap enough to wear for a season or two while you figure out exactly what you want in a jacket before shelling out for a "fancy" jacket. Firstgear is doing a nice job of making subtle, casual jackets. Just wish the arms were longer!
